Very peaceful, cozy and posh hotel!”
We had an amazing stay at Puri Mesari. The staff is extremely polite and courteous and very eager to listen to you. We had the Room at the back of the hotel. Very peaceful and calm. The hotel had decorated the room beautifully for us (honeymoon couple) and even left a bouquet of flowers for us. There is also a fruit basket in the room. The rooms are simple, very cozy and adequately equipped. The breakfast is okay and you can actually skip the major meals, we didn't like the food but we heard they are in the process of collecting feedback and changing the menu. I'd rather suggest you go out and eat, the lovely Sanur market starts at just 5 minutes and the beach is maybe a 7 minute walk with plenty of options to eat. We got 35% off through some deal on Agoda and paid for 3 nights, a steal for that price. I'd love to stay here again and would highly recommend the hotel. The hotel also provided an airport drop to us at IDR 150,000. Go with eyes closed and yeah visit the Leha Leha spa, around 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Solo travel made easy at Puri Mesari”
I stayed at the Puri Mesari for one week in July as a solo traveller 22yr old woman. The hotel is a little out of the main Sanur area but you can rent scooters or bikes and it is 10 walk from the main beach. The staff are incredibly accommodating. At one point I needed a plaster for a cut and one of the staff told me he would be back shortly, jumped on a bike and cycled to the shop to buy me a pack. Service was excellent at every moment and incredibly friendly. The rooms are cleaned usually between 9am and 12pm and are left spotless without feeling like your belongings have been moved about. The ground floor rooms have outside bathrooms and one night I had a surprise visitor as a lizard jumped in my hot bath before I got in. It was more funny than anything else. I was a little concerne about being solo but not once was I worried about my safety. The staff will even give you a lift to restaurants or bars if you ask. I appreciated that the staff have an incredibly honouring and pleasant approach to guests, accomodating every need but are not overbearing in the slightest. The hotel was in the high season but even then the pool was never crowded and was just the right size. Despite only having a few sun loungers I never had trouble getting one. The food is great and hotel room service is cheap. I spent most time out of the hotel and the hotel offers packages for tours across the island. The drivers were friendly and professional. The beds are extremely comfy. I could not have been happier with my choice of hotel on this trip.

Great midrange hotel”
We had a great one week vacation with two rooms and three kids (7,5,2 yo). I asked for connecting rooms before we arrived, and they gave us two rooms side by side right next to the pool which was perfect for us. We recommend the Puri Mesari and would also stay again if we get to go back to Sanur. It is a small midrange hotel, so don't expect five star luxury, but it is a fantastic option if you do not need cable TV. Rooms are large enough, have a nice patio out to the lovely pool. Room service does a good job to keep them very clean and in good condition. Mattress is comfortable, air con works, mini bar is there. It's about ten minutes walk to the beach, even with young kids, on a safe side street. The restaurant beat our expectations, rate included American breakfast but it was no problem and no cost to have pancakes or other options. We also had lunch and dinner a few times and found it a very good alternative to some of the beach restaurants. The shuttle service is flexible and convenient, almost like a private taxi, included in the rate. They dropped us where we wanted in town, and we would email from wherever we ended up to arrange for pick up. The friendly receptionist organized an Ubud daytrip and in-room massage for us. You can pay a bit less on the street (we also went out to massage shops), but the service and quality from the hotel were excellent and reasonably surcharged. Airport transfers were seamless, about 20-25 minutes drive. All in all a great relaxing week in Sanur - Thank you Puri Mesari.

Amazing place in Bali”
We stayed at Puri Mesari for 5 nights during our honeymoon then went over to Puri Santrian Resort. While we were at the resort, all we could think was how much more we enjoyed our time at Puri Mesari. There you get a quiet hotel with a good size room, very wonderful staff who will assist you with anything, and really great good that is extremely cheap. We felt it was more personable there and if we come back to Bali we are definitely staying at Puri Mesari again!

PANDA”
My husband and I spent 4 nights in Puri Mesari as our arrival point and departure point in Bali. It is a very nice and niche family round business. Small garden but well designed and constructed in a Balinese style. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Linda, who have helped us in many ways. The breakfast was very good, both the taste and the quatity. We booked a breakfast included package through agoda. It included all types of breakfast sets on the menu, well some are more expesive than others. Puri Mesari locates in the south west of Sanur, rather quiet place. But it is not far to walk to all kinds of restaurants and not far from the south beach of Sanur. Also the hotel operates a free shuttle to the town centre from Mon. to Satureday. It is really convenient! I will come back to stay here for sure on my next vacation to Bali!

A more cultural experience than the big hotels”
I really enjoyed my 4 nights at the Puri Mesari Hotel and would easily stay there again. The fact that there was no TV in the room was a good thing. The breakfasts are fine, you can choose from a variety of dishes. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and helpful.I really liked the location, away from the big hotels but not too far away to walk or ride a bike into Sanur town. Don't stay here if you want to be in the thick of the action, or can't be bothered walking very far.

Lovely quiet hotel, great staff, beautiful garden”
I prefer small quiet hotels to the larger and much more expensive ones and Puri Mesari fit the bill perfectly. Large clean room though the balcony was small (rm 214). The swimming pool is beautiful but surprisingly shallow at one end. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and several nice restaurants - though the beach is nothing special. A small niggle is that the booking was B&B but breakfast was only toast or toastie, juice, fruit and coffee - eggs and bacon were US dollars 2 extra - I didn't know this in advance and it is so little extra that I'd have been happier to have it included in the overall price rather than become aware of it only when we sat down to eat on the first morning. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and we really enjoyed our three days R&R there at the end of our trip. I saw a review mentioning a howling cat - don't pet it - it bites! We would definitely stay there again.

A pleasant 4 days”
I had a really nice stay at Puri Mesari. The staff was very friendly and the services were top notch with good attention to details. Thehotel food was another pleasant surprise, it was quite good. The hotel is and the room is clean. My only qualms with Puri Mesari is that it is a bit far from central Sanur and the furniture in the room is a bit old. All in all a solid 4/5.

Great stay in Sanur”
We are retired teachers in our mid 60's who are budget minded travelers. We spent a month traveling in Indonesia and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Puri Mesari. We felt quite special when we saw our names on a board welcoming us to the hotel. It was a nice touch. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It was great to have a pool to sit around and to cool off in. It was only a 10 minute walk to the beginning of the boardwalk which meandered between the beach and the resort area with its many restaurants. Puri Mesari served a complimentary breakfast of fruit, toast, strong coffee and juice. If you wanted more you could pay extra. We did not eat any other meals here so we really cannot comment on the food other than breakfast. The hotel offers a free shuttle to a mall. It was strictly a large department store similar to Walmart. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Hidden Gem”
Puri Mesari feels like a home away from home. It is a family run hotel and most staff we still know from our first visit eight years ago. although we did not coe there for four years the staff still remembered all our names. The lush garden and the trees with flowers make the premises smell very fresh. The breakfast is basic but good.I will definitely coming back to Puri Mesari in the future.

Relaxing and peaceful”
We really enjoyed our stay in Puri Mesari. We wanted to be away from the crowd and did not want to stay near the busy streets. Puri Mesari is good for that. While it is a distance from the main activities area, the hotel provides free shuttle bus service which helps to mitigate this concern. Staff was friendly. The swimming pool was nice. Breakfast was abit dull though.

cheap and cheerful - worth staying here”
puri mesari is in a great location - a pretty and short walk to the beach and the main street. we traveled with a 3 year old and a 10 month old baby. our villa was spacious with a living area. the villa was next to the pool so while the baby slept, the rest of the family swam and relaxed. they need to put plants in the pond! a nice change from the big resorts, it had us exploring the beautiful sights of sanur.

Stayed for Bali Triathlon, very closed to the beach”
I loved the stay at Puri Mesari. The small wading pool was nice and the staff at the restaurant was so friendly. One thing is, so many mosquito. I got Dengue from Bali, not sure if it was from this hotel. They provide every room mosquito spray tho.

Lovely hotel in quiet situation - great staff!”
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were great and even kept my room open for me when I spent one night away on the island of Flores - at no extra cost. The pool is lovely - great for a dip at any time - and the accommodation very comfortable - and big! It isn't far from the beach - maybe three minutes before you reach the promenade that takes you into the centre of Sanur - about a fifty-minute walk (if you don't stop to shop or have a massage!) in all. One day I walked and on the next couple I hired a bicycle from the hotel- cycled along the beach promenade and also the road into the town (not too busy and car and motor-bike drivers are very aware you are a tourist on a bike - toot to let you know they are coming up behind you!) Both ways are interesting and to be recommended! Hotel breakfast (continental) a little disappointing, but you can opt at extra cost (15000 rupiah) for an Indonesian breakfast - much better! A restaurant (Mama Puto) is just down the road, while there are good restaurants a few minutes along the beach promenade - walking distances! So, a quiet and lovely place to stay - I was on my own, but there were other singles, couples and a young family staying at the same time - mixed nationalities! A calm and memorable Bali experience!
