Best place we have stayed so far ”
Clean and quiet home stay in a safe and friendly area. The place offers free water and is cleaned daily. We have the VIP room which comes with its own bathroom. It has windows and a sliding door to allow air circulation and is very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and someone is always downstairs so the security is great. The area is convinient to mall and food carts which we personally prefer as the food is way healthier, tastier and better than the mall, plus we support the local people not corporations. Also it is a quarter of the price and you can meet people in the neighbour. Excellent foos just down the side street next to the mall. Gadogado and early morning tofu and tempe truck highly recommended!

I went to this hotel, at 3AM, after New Year's party with my friends. But whe whe got here the homestay was closed.. I got panicked because we have nowhere to stay. But fortunately, There is a bell near the gate.. my friend push it and the staff come out to opened the gate for us

I get one room with a good scenery of the city. I went to Surabaya to do some business and traveling. I would certainly go to the hotel again if I'm in Surabaya. For the money i spent the hotel features more than i've expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Surabaya for business or shopping purposes.

nice hotel to stay ,its like my own home, lol..., not that crowded environtment, and the most important is the location, Providence Hotel is located in the middle of town,so..is easy access to hangout, bout the price is fair,and the staff are friendly. My room is clean and neat, you know what Providence hotel is family living concept , have a dining room, they prepare coffee, tea , and some cookies but we have to help ourself, need to going back to surabaya and stay in this hotel

Hostel for the tight budget”
It's a bit far away from the center of Surabaya, close to Surabaya zoo. The Japanese market is adjacent to this hostel and coking facilities are ready to use(Though, facilities are not enough to use for the entire cooking, only the basic ones prepared). There are 2 types of room, business one and superior one. If you afford paying for the superior one, I strongly recommended it, since the price difference between these 2 rooms are not much. Staffs working in this hostel are all kind enough to be relax. If I refer to the bad point, the hostel is far away from city center, so that you want to use taxi mainly which is rather expensive than other sorts of transportation, unless you are good Indonesian speaker or you know well about the local transportation.

Perfect for a short stay”
This homestay is very correct and clean ! There are 2 floors, hot and cold water at your disposal. There isn't any food except beverages and instant noodles. Rooms are simple (be careful about the A/C, sometimes it's too cold or not enough), 2 major bathrooms and the staff is very friendly. There aren't dormitories, and that's cool for privacy. Surabaya is not really a touristic city, so if you're here for a short stay or a transit, this homestay is quite enough. Plus, there is a huge mall close to there, cinema and arcade on the last floor and hypermarket on the lower ground floor. The homestay is about 30min from the airport and the bus station. I advice you to take bluebird taxi for your transport, for avoiding scams.

I stayed here for just one night. It's a great hotel if you're trying to save money. The rooms are tiny - mine just had a bed, towel rack, and small table - but I think there are better rooms available. The homestay is really close to Ciputra World mall, which has lots of nice restaurants, a movie theater, and bunches of shops. The area's a bit sketchy-looking, but you get what you pay for, yeah? I didn't actually feel unsafe there, even walking at night.

it was worth for staying in this hotel. The price was cheap. It was located near center of the city. Easy access to public transport and shopping mall. The staffs were friendly. At night 10pm the front door will be closed, but its okay, the staffs will open the door for you if you want to go out. The room was clean, simple, but comfortable. Overall, it was good hotel to stay.

There is not much to see or do in Surabaya but if you stay there I recommend this hotel. It is clean and good value. The staff doesn't speek much english but we solved it by using google translate :-) Anyways it's good place to stay for short time.

Overall experience is this hotel suitable for budget traveller,its clean and centrally located in Surabaya town but the downside is you got to shared bathroom and the insulation noise between room is very poor that you can hear someone nextroom snoring

Good choice for short trip”
actually i will really enjoy my stay if the other guest didn't littering in toilet, the first day i came, i found the bathroom was very clean, but when the others guest join for the next day, the bathroom became dirty (non-flushed pee over and over), cigarrete's butt on wastafel. Maybe the staffs should pay more attention for dividing smoking guest with non smoking guest at different level floor, or you can say, male and female at different floor, because you know, this is shared bathroom, please keep it convenient a possible, the homestay is a bit far from the main road, but the others things was good, the staffs very friendly, my room was very clean, wifi access 24hrs, no problem at all, just about the bathroom. keep up the good work and thanks for considering my opinion.

My 3 nights stay was good which I like the most is the nearby restaurant name 369. It's a nice Chinese restaurant n the female restaurant skinny wearing glasses is ver helpful to providing city information. Overall the hotel is good but the last day before I check out there is a heavy rain n I am shock the room floor is full of water from the window. Luckily I check out on that day it self. I like tho shopping mall near by name ciputra world. It's a nice shopping mall... It's full of nice restaurant at the 3rd floor ....
