near the public transportation facilities, city center and also attractive places and culinary. Little bit noisy due to the traffic in front of the hotel, but it's okay. Keep up your good service.

This is a hotel with a very great location which is in front of entance gate of solo balapan station. If you have midnight train schedule, this place is great for you. But, the shower isn't too hot :(

+ location is strategic. Next to the solo train station. Good place to transit. Breakfast is quite good. - AC isn't cool, the heater shower water is not work well (no hot at all), the water pool is smell and it hurts our eyes when swimming into it.

The hotel should pay attention more to the cleanliness. The staffs did not really do the cleaning. They just did a quick sweep on the floor, they didn't wash the cup using soap. Be careful if you want to use their cups. Wash it first as they didn't not wash it properly.

Poor internet, lots of critters, only advantage is the location to the train station”
I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for value for money. While it is not expensive, its value pales in comparison to similar hotels located near train stations in cities like Bandung, Surabaya, etc. The internet connection is the worst I have experienced in half a dozen hotels throughout Java and Bali islands in Indonesia. Signal always drops and is slow. The router, even though located outside my room, is problematic and had to be reset a few times. The hygiene standards of the hotel are sub par because of mosquitoes in the lobby at night, the occasional rat from outside the street, and many small nematodes in the bathroom on the second day. The room was the farthest from the elevator but nevertheless you can hear the call to prayers even though the mosque is on the front side of the hotel. Perhaps other rooms would have fared better. Next time one visits Solo, it is a better choice to take a taxi to a more centrally located place near the business district. This hotel is a good choice only if you need convenience in getting to the train station.

New, clean hotel”
We never traveled to Solo before. We just search for hotel at Agoda. There was not so many reviews about the hotel, but just seeing the pictures, and a special deal, we just book the hotel. The facilities are remarkably cozy. Large room, with minimalist design, plenty of space for the four of us. Definitely will be our destination in our next visit to Solo

Best Transit Hotel So Far”
this is the best transit hotel that i have stayed at so far. the location is very close to the solo balapan station, which makes it ideal for transit hotel, yet not too close that you would get bothered by the noises from the trains. we were pleasantly surprised, the room, the service and the breakfast quality exceeded our expectation considering the amount of money we paid. the only thing that they could do better is upgrading the bed matrasses, the bed was quite hard. but other than that this is now our first option when transiting in solo.

Solid mid-range hotel”
Pros: The hotel is located just across the street from the railway station Solo Balapan, so if you are travelling by train as I was, there is absolutely no need to use a taxi, ignore the drivers on the arrival. Very nice and clean room, good shower, good toilet. The price is unbeatable. The staff very nice as well. Cons: The hotel is located near a Mosque, so you'll probably wake up early at the morning prayer. I didn't mind about it. Then, there are no restaurants around the hotel, but I just had a Nasi Goreng around the corner.

new hotel close to station with charming service”
The room was very new, modern, hip and clean but pretty bare with a very weak wi-fi signal, so I upgraded just to get a room closer to the router. The upgraded room was also very bright, colorful and cheery. It was also very comfortable and spacious. I liked the location as I came from Jogja by train, and moved on from there to Surabaya by train also. There are always becaks waiting round the corner and one of the becak drivers also doubled as an ojek driver, so there was no problem getting around Solo. Most of all, I liked the hotel reception staff. They bent over backwards to try to help, despite their difficulties with English.

Could have been better”
I went as a solo traveller this time round. I had stayed there previously when my family came to visit me once in December 2012 and January 2013. My room was located right at the corner of the hotel and it was the first room I had seen that had some pipes covered up in a cupboard. That may have explained how lizards could frequent my room. The toilet was quite dirty and my room was not provided with body soap. I had to request for it, and again when I ran out of the small bottle. I went during the fasting period so people in general woke up early to eat before sunrise. The hotel breakfast buffet was supposed to last till 10am but I would be woken up by the staff at 7am to see if they could deliver my breakfast to me as the food was running out. I appreciated the thought for foreign non Muslim guests being able to still get their breakfast, but it's almost being forced to eat at a certain time. So just a note for travelers going to Indonesia during the fasting period.. But to give the hotel some credit, I was very impressed by my previous stays. Their rooms were clean and ther service excellent. They are located right opposite the main train station in Solo and Airport transfers are available, and they speak good English. I would still go back to stay whenever I want to visit Solo.
