MAGNIFICENT!”
As soon as we walked into the Bayon Modern we were made to feel "At Home". While the hotel boasts all the amenities you hope for- spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds with nice linen, lots of hot water, great AC, reliable WiFi, wonderful pool and delicious buffet breakfast, it also has an air of relaxation and friendliness. The enjoyment of all these things was heightened by the magnificent attention to detail, and the genuine desire of every member of staff, to help ensure that your stay at the hotel, whether 2 days or 2 weeks, be both enjoyable and memorable. This all stems from the professional management team of Mr. Tola, Mr. Lay and Mr. Thinh, whose dedication to their guests, is emulated by all the other employees. We have visited Siem Reap for approximately one month each year for the past decade, and have stayed at numerous hotels in the area, and we can honestly say the Bayon Modern is by far the best of all of them. We will no longer compare hotels, we will automatically book with them, and hope that they have a room available. You can do no better than staying at this wonderful hotel if you want to experience true Khmer hospitality, friendliness, and kindness.

11/10, top-notch, spectacular! Staying in Bayon Modern made out time in Siem Reap even more special. I highly recommend staying there. Will definitely come back in the future. The hotel's elegant interiors mix modern and traditional designs with exquisite details. The large rooms, which are both spacious and cozy, are equipped with everything you could possibly need and are very clean too. beautiful, relaxing pools. Stunning dining area, surrounded by a tropical garden. The breakfast is of excellent quality. We also enjoyed splendid dinners in the restaurant. The hospitality of the personnel is absolutely next-level. Every single person we talked to was welcoming and professional. Special thanks to May and David! They have organized for us excellent guided tours of Angkor Wat and a floating village. Thanks to the guide who worked with the driver, we had a very well-organized time and learned plenty of interesting, insightful details about the history and culture of Angkor Wat and Cambodia. The hotel is located close to the Angkor area. Between the city center and the temple area, where one can travel easily with a tuk-tuk.

Outstanding in every way”
There is simply nothing bad to say about this place. Everyone treated us like kings and queens from day one. Definately the best place we have stayed in Cambodia. Food is excellent, better than all other restaurants we tried in town (stayed 6 nights), breakfast with homemade pineapple jam, croissants, fresh juice, bread, eggs and fruit, also try the currys and ask for extra chilie if you like it, it makes them outstanding. The place is calm, beautiful, has a great athmosphere and is quiet (walls seem thicker than in other hotels, beds are better, and it is completely clean). The pool is nice and clean too. It is a little walk from the center, so you can walk or take a tuk tuk from the hotel for very reasonable prices. They also help with transport to the temple area, the tuk tuk driver waits for you all day with cold water in the car. Hope to be back one day !

Great place for a family to rest after temple tours”
This is our second stay at the Bayon Modern Residence - my husband & I stayed last January and we loved it so much we returned again this October with our two teenage daughters this time. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the pool area is totally tranquil, the bedrooms are lovely and clean although we have both times opted to upgrade to The Suite which are utterly stunning with a beautiful balcony that overlooks the pool area. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic - with a lovely chef who cooks eggs, waffles & pancakes to order. They also serve lovely sparking wine and freshly squeezed orange juice. However the BEST thing about the hotel is the lovely staff and management that run this little hidden gem. Mr tola who is front of house was there last year and he welcomed us back with the warmest of welcomes. In short this hotel has only got better in the last year and as a family we can’t wait to return. Thank you again for an absolutely amazing stay.

Our absolute favourite thing about this hotel were the staff! From the very beginning the driver who collected us from the airport, to the reception staff to the restaurant staff, to the driver who returned us to the airport they all were some of the nicest people we have ever met. They couldn't have been anymore welcoming and helpful. The rooms were stunning, and extremely clean. The rooms were extremely spacious. Lovely swimming pool and the massage we got in the spa was one of the best massages I ever got! It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel - thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay!

I have already been to 89 countries of the world and did not expect such a high level of comfort, cleanliness and hospitality in Cambodia. A must stay when in Siem Reap. Beautiful buildings with lovely artefacts dotted throughout. Rooms very clean, comfortable and well designed, and come with breakfast included! Service is incredibly personal and the staff will go out of its way to ensure you have everything you need. Safiel was brilliant and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable - as did the rest of the staff as well. Massages and food also very good value. We hope to stay at this hotel again.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We stayed in premier deluxe room which was very comfortable in itself but this hotel truly comes into its own with a superb breakfast and evening cocktail hour or actually 3. The range at breakfast is one of the best I have ever seen. Eggs cooked to perfection and delicious Photo only name a couple of items. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location a little out of the way but taxis are readily available and very cheap so really not an issue. The evening cocktail hour starts at 5pm and was very generous. Wine both white and red, spirts beer etc and very nice snacks available. It was so good we did not go out to dinner while staying here.

Really friendly staff, clean rooms, big bathrooms. They wrote a really beautiful message with leaves on our beds which as really nice! Wifi was great, and the driver was really nice too. Within walking distance to some really nice restaurants and cafes.

If you’re in Siem Reap, you have to stay at this hotel! Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is amazing and so attentive! 5 minute walk to downtown/night market/pub street. The facilities and pool are gorgeous and they’ve thought of everything from the breakfast (with many European/American options as well as Asian and different fresh squeezed juices- happy hour at the bar. Would 100% recommend to anyone and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
