Amazing place to stay and snorkel”
Out of this world experience for us with the most amazing settings of wild deers by poolside, Safari like double deck rides, biggest most indulgent bathrooms and amazing comfy beds! We have never seen corals and fishes quite like this at Menjangan Island before. A must do w Plataran!

The hotel location is surreal, excellent for getaway from crowded cities. You will surrounded by natural habitat of the forest and beach. My kids learn alot of experience where they cannot get it at school, especially during pandemic.

The hotel is the closest to Jetty where you can snorkel off the beach. Ideal for small kids and those who gets sea sick and doesnt like taking boats! The stuff is very friendly and accommodating with every request. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

It was a pleasure to stay in Plataran Menjangan,the staff was very kind and helpfull. The Breakfast was tasty and the view also great. Staying there was like living in a natural Environment,because we can see monkeys and menjangan (deer) outside our room. The snorkeling point also great with lots of variety of fish. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at that day,and the gave us a very delicious cake.

Stunning resort in beautiful surroundings”
After driving for about 4 hours from seminyak, we finally arrived at Plataran Menjangan and were rewarded with breathtaking surroundings and amazing environment with lots of wild deers and monkeys roaming around freely. The check in process was very smooth with attentive and hospitable staff who proceeded to cart us to our forest villa and show the resorts’ facilities. The views from the octagon were simply stunning with their infinity pool overlooking the mangroves and the bay beyond. The forest villa we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous, typical to all the Plataran properties. However we were not so keen on the semi-open bathroom concept, but this is only a personal preference. We like our bathrooms to be enclosed, clean and sterile. Especially being out in the middle of the forest, and when it rained heavily on the day we arrived, rainwater poured into the bathroom soaking all our towels and made the bathroom floor very dirty. The next morning we found two grey monkeys sitting in our bathtub which surprised us somewhat. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely return someday. Oh and the food was scrumptious from breakfast lunch and dinner! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here as we got to experience a different side of Bali which was simply magical! Recommended!!

Memorable stay”
It was a remarkable experience here. The location is right inside the national park and we see deers every morning roaming around the beach. A very different side of Bali. Snorkeling at the Menjangan Island is spectacular though with quite a hefty price. The endless corals are colourful and fishes are abundant. Truly miss this wonderful place.

A beautiful small resort where the ones to disturb you are the birds and the Menjangans. The villas are very nice with a beautiful view to the sea. The service is fantastic and the food is very well prepared. Both the indonesian food as well western food are delicious. The snorkling at the jetty is good but it is simply fantastic at the Menjangan Island- WAUW.

Great food. The octagon restaurant serves the best food we tried in our one week in Bali. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is awesome. All the food is freshly made. Even the muesli is very different from what we usually have. A lot tastier. Infinity pool is lovely. It faces the sea and it speaks tranquillity. Deers are in abundance. We see them right in front our 2 bedroom villa. We stayed 2 nights in Plataran, lovely stay all in all.

The location is far away from the heart of Bali, but they offer scenic & very beautiful beach & mangrove area with fishes, hermit crab, deer, monkeys, birds, squirrels and lizards going around.

The staff was a little too attentive! It was most likely because we were one of only a few people staying at the property at the time. Also the water and the outdoor bathrooms were a bit rough. The water liked to change preasure and temp randomly. And the shower was just a hose decorated by bamboo.

Beautiful setting, room and facilities. Super relaxing and wonderful location. Service well intentioned but lacking in many ways. Restaurant menu was really limited, which was a bit tough since not a lot of other options.
