Sideman is a must go place in Bali is you have time. This villa is a very quiet and relax villa with great paddy field view. Highly recommended if you wish to escape from the busy city!!

LOVELY, fabulous place among the rice paddies”

We LOVED it here. The staff was insanely friendly and nice and offered to bring us every meal to our room. The food was all Indonesian food, so we needed to venture out to get some variety. The room was great. There was a slight bug problem, which I am sure they would have swept up if we had asked. The view was amazing. The pool was great. I really liked the staff. They also found us a guide to take us on a hike up a mountain. Really, just great people. They also gave us free NYE dinner, and served it to us in a romantic gazebo. Man I HIGHLY recommend two days here for anyone coming to Bali.

Amazing place to relax”

Absolutely the best place we stayed during our holiday. Nice modern and clean villas with comfortable beds and nice deck / veranda overlooking beautiful rice terraces. Pool was fantastic to cool off. Well located to other restaurants - the food we are here was good too. Lovely staff, everyone was so friendly. Also helped us organise transport / sunrise trip up Mt Batur. Literally no complaints if you want somewhere quite and peaceful to do some relaxing.

A magical place”

A beautiful hotel set amongst the rice paddies. Very friendly staff, good fresh food. Impressive rooms, well tended garden, a pleasure for the senses. Some guests might think that it is too remote, but a short walk through the rice paddies next to the water tank brings you to a road with beautiful views and other hotels/restaurants if you want to eat at another place. Preordering the meals at the hotel restaurant shortens the waiting time while dining. Very informative guided tour through the rice paddies to the arak distillery and weaving shops. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice location & views, but service could be better”

This is a relatively new hotel and the villas are nicely designed and decorated. The location and environment is beautiful, but not stunning. But the hotel has not yet fully got its act together with regards to running the villas. Some examples: no complimentary water in the room (how much would it cost?!) No fridge in the room. I couldnt even find a waste basket in the room. No a/c provided which is at odds with the quality of the villas(though being in the mountains, it's not too hot at night). The room was large, nicely decorated, with a large terrace with great (but not stunning) views. Quiet location next to terraces growing chillies, papaya, rice and so on. Room wasnt spotlessly clean (they need to train the staff to clean the top of the shower divider for example). Water pressure in the bathroom was somewhat unreliable. Nice dining area but the food is nothing special and service very slow. Wifi internet only in the dining area, and poor connection (off and on, mainly off!) In summary, I think some previous reviews are over-rated. Great views and location, very nice rooms, but service and facilities do not match. They could do with some more highly trained and service oriented staff.

perfect for nature holiday”

View was amazing, all nature, green everywhere, staff was very helpful, foods (diner) were nice, breakfast was enough but same everyday, egg or pancake, fruit salad and butter / jam. Because of the environment so much bugs around which is very normal. I can recommend this hotel for silent , natural holiday.

Nice, but”

The so-called scenic views were a bit disappointing; restaurant lunch/dinner menu very restricted; GREAT breakfast; beautiful room; friendly staff; comfortable/clean swimming pool; owner/spouse very cooperative and helpful.

Idyllic Gem in Terraced Rice Fields”

We ended up coming back and staying a few more nights later on. Absolutely loved it. Peaceful and beautiful.

Lovely location but poorly run ”

The location is gorgeous and the staff, very nice and the place looked nice however there were some significant problems. The room was very hot and the air conditioning and fan listed on agoda were non existent. It was so hot that I really couldn't sleep. A portable fan was provided when requested for the second night (couldn't ask for one the first night as everyone had gone to the full moon ceremony).. The level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired with the fridge being mildewed and inexplicably turned off after staff cleaning my room. I had insulin in the fridge so this was of some consequence. The pool water was not clean. There was also something wrong with some of the lights. I had a bit of an impromptu disco the first night. Although they came up with a resolution, these things should have been checked. It was a real shame as with a bit of extra care this would be a really lovely place.

Super accueil. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme dès que nous sommes arrivés. Les pieds dans les rizières. C est parfait et on y mange très bien. Le +: location de moto et bon prix pour aller sur les îles Gili.

hôtel sympa mais service léger”

Pas de nécessaire de toilette Pas de climatisation juste un ventilateur, trop juste pour période très chaude. Petit déjeuner frugale Pas de réfrigérateur, ni coffre fort, ni bouteille d eau. Propreté limite. Vue entre mer et montagne " mont agung" dans rizières.

Parfait pour les extérieurs”

Belle grande chambre très lumineuse avec vue sur les rizières et champs. Piscine à débordement avec transats, parfait. Gros bémol est la propreté de la chambre! Le sol et le lit sont propres, le reste n a plus été nettoyé depuis très longtemps et ca se voit, poussière et toiles d araignées partout. Très dommage car la chambre est super...

Au top”

5 jours début août, ambiance familiale, assez excentré , l'hôtel nous a organisé les randos, taxis, visites, (mt ajung, en préparant les lunch box , ... Plage à padangbai) avec de super conseils. Vraiment satisfait pour le prix. Tres tranquille, et cuisine locale le soir avec des prix super. (7e par repas complet par personne). Au top :)

Exellent séjour dans cet hôtel”

Le séjour dans cet hôtel s'est très bien déroulé. Il est composé de plusieurs villas non mitoyennes. La villa est spacieuse et ouverte sur la nature. La conception de la villa évite l'utilisation de la climatisation (de toute façon, il n'en y a pas). La piscine est très agréable. La vue sur la campagne environnante est superbe.Le personnel est très avenant. Le restaurant sert de la nourriture de bonne qualité et à un prix modique. C'est un hôtel à conseiller aux amoureux de la nature et des endroits calmes et paisibles.

Endroit charmant! ”

Nous avons passé deux nuits a cet hôtel avec notre enfant de 20 mois. Un matelas nous a été donné vu que nous n'avions pas de lit de bébé. La vue est très belle. Piscine sympa, en plein soleil aux heures chaudes mais a l'ombre en fin de journée. Cuisine extra! On s'est régalé! Chambre avec terrasse, très intime. Juste le nettoyage qui laisse a désirer, c'est un peu a la balinaise comme vu dans d'autres hôtels. Dommage. Aussi, la chambre n'a pas été faite après la première nuit, il manquait du savon et du papier de toilette a notre arrivée. A conseiller pour le lieu et la cuisine mais effort a faire sur la propreté.
