I have stayed at "Our Awesome Hostel" now twice, and cannot say enough good things. First, the staff are terrific. Ralph-Ralph the manager is always willing to answer any questions, or help you with whatever you may need done. Whether it is ordering food, a cab, or travel to you next destination, the staff is extremely helpful. The same can be said for Sir Adam, who covers the desk during the day. Everything I said about Ralph, goes for Adam as well. Also, the rest of the hostel staff (JR and the gang are great!) are just as helpful, and attentive! Everyone always has a smile on, which makes all the difference in the World sometimes. Secondly, the location is perfect! You are within walking distance of BGC, which has some of the best restaurants and shopping in the city. If you are on a tighter budget, there are plenty of little restaurants around on the side streets. Third, they have an amazing rooftop patio, which makes meeting other travellers super easy (nearly impossible), which I think is an extremely important aspect of the travelling experience. Fear not business travellers, it is NOT a crazy party space, with out of control drinking, and loud music. Rather, it is a relaxing space to have dinner and some drinks, while taking in some amazing views of the city. I have spent some nights up there with fellow travellers, having a good number of drinks, but everyone seems to do a great job of respecting one another, and not getting out of hand. Also, all the rooms are far away from the rooftop, so whatever noise is created there will not disturb anyones sleep. I know this is a pretty positive review, but this is a pretty awesome hostel (as the name states). Needless to say, if you are coming to Manila for a night, a week, or even a month, stay here, you won't regret it! Tell them Peter sent you!

Really good hostel, good service”
the place and location is i like very much because it is very near to places i want to go. it is near the airport and also old manila. the hostel has security guard all the time so it is very securing and safe, so a plus point for our awesome hostel. they also have big lockers, which is also i like because it keeps all my luggage. filipinos of our awesome hostel are very nice and helpful. i want to say thanks to them personally to helping me. with my things. i want to recommend this hostel to you.

Perfect location, close to bars and restaurants”
The location of Our Awesome Hostel is perfect, close to bars and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There's a roof deck with a wonderul view of The Fort and Makati business districts. The 2 owners are very accommodating that they would meet their guests personally and tour them around the city. Indeed an awesome hostel!

Cheap Price Good Location”
The roof top is awesome !!! The rooms are nice big beds soft mattress but would be great if the internet is faster. The staff are very helpful, they even called a taxi for us - such an extra service! The location is quite good, it's a few minutes talk to bars and offices, very central. I would definitely stay in Our Awesome Hostel when I come back to Manila!

i had a comfortable stay at our awesome hostel. it was so homey i love the big black couch and big tv in the lounge. most of all, the view of the roof deck is magnificent! it's like staying in a nice hotel but the pfice is very reasonable. will definitely recommend this hostel in manila!

Wonderful hostel with very friendly staff”
The owners and staff are very friendly, they even toured us around the city for free. I love the roofdeck with great view, very nice to chill around after a long day and meet other guests. The rooms are really big and the beds are wooden sturdy. I will stay in Our Awesome Hostel again when I come back to Manila.

it is possible to visit many places from the hostel. Very good location and its very near The Bonifacio Global City (shopping area). The rooms were very nice and large for a hostel room. It is also nice and clean as i think they just opened and so still new. People are very nice and helpful to me and my girlfriend helping us find bargain stufff. Merci beaucoup Our Awesome Hostel!

Always the Best”
This was my 2nd time and it was even better. They moved to a bigger place with a beautiful rooftop to drink, eat and enjoy with people. The staff here are absolutely amazing with great english skills and very helpful with all. The location is great as well. Very close to Bonifacio and to the airport. I brought my friends for the first time and they loved it. They said it was the best hostel they've ever been to. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants the warm welcome to Manila. Two thumbs up!

Perfect Budget Accommodation”
A budget traveler myself, this hostel was able to give me quite a good package at a very reasonable price. The place is actually near the airport, convenient as i had a flight to catch to Boracay. The receptionist was also very nice and patient (as i asked a lot of questions of where-to's and what-to dos) Overall, i enjoyed during my stay and had an awesome sojourn with them. They have just started operations but nonetheless the staff and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The price is quite reasonable considering its pretty central and stones throw away from the malls and restaurants. Definitely will stay here again if ill drop by Manila! Spacious Rooms and Excellent Location”
the staff were really nice and very accommodating. the rooms were pretty spacious as well for a hostel room. what i like the most is that the rooms have its own toilet unlike with the other hostels i have stayed before. also the location is fantastic as its very near the fort, some famous shopping arcade. overall, ill recommend this hostel to anyone who looks for reasonably priced accommodations.

Nice place”
This was my second time staying here and the guys that work there remembered me and welcomed me back. Having stayed at several places, the nice things about Our Awesome is it has a great view from the roof, microwave, good AC in the ten person room, a place to hang laundry outside, and close to the airport (15-20 min). The bad things are no wifi in the rooms, have to go to the roof deck, sink didn't work in the bathroom, had to use the sink in the room, and snoring backpackers.

Awesome for $8 a night Canadian, met cool ppl”
It was no frills, friendly staff, smoking area, friendly other guests to gather information and share stories with. Really close to cheap Manila local shopping which can be scary to a Westerner in one direction, and more comfortable mid priced shoppping at Market Market, 10 mins walk or 60 peso taxi ride in another direction. Finally, opulent and higher priced shopping in Global Benefacio City and SM Mall in another direction, also about 10-15 mins walk and 100 peso taxi ride. Booking comes with a clean bed on a bunk bed and an approx 2'x2' locker. Fairly safe, I saw ppl leaving their laptops and cell phones unattended and no problems. Have stayed in many hostels and this one is above average for cleaniless. For the $8 Cdn or USD, you won't be disappointed.

Good location, good room and helpful staff”
This place is very fit to all Backpackers..since this hostel is just open 2 weeks before i stayed there, so the room is still clean, and also the bathroom. The staffs are very helpful. The location is in the middle of Makati City & Bonifacio Global City, so very good location. Very recommended place. Thank you.

It's close to the airport which is nice for those who need to stay for transfer. Also it's close to the MRT station, by walk maybe 10-15 mins. But, as it's a new hostel, not lot taxi driver know where it is, you have to show them the map,( the hostel will offer you a map for the surrounding area and the exact location of the hostel). I arrive earlier in the morning, at 6:00am, can stay in the open lounge for rest, and later when the manager wake up, you can drop your luggue there, and go out for some food, there is a 7-11 store close, but it's the only store close by, or there are some street food if you want to have a try.Anyway, it's a good hostel for transit stay.

excellent choice for staying”
Was recommended by a friend to stay here who had pleasant stay. The hostel is closest to the NAIA airport. It is also walking distance to The Fort- with throngs of restos and shopping stores. They rooms are very clean and they change the sheets everyday (without me asking!). Place is also well secured as they have security guards. Price-wise, its really cheapest given its very good standards. I also thank the staff especially Ralph for helping me find the way to go my destination
