Nusa Dua hotels & places to stay

First of all, thank you for Mr mawa who gave us a good impression when the first day we arrived and we had a nice talk at the beach. There are many great point to stay at this wonderful hotel and you wont be regret. We booked a deluxe room with pool access.stayed 2 night at Inaya. I did leave a message at agoda to tell them we traveled with baby and need a clean room, etc. What a surprise when we entered the room, we saw the baby cot was ready at it which we did not ask them to prepare for us. What a thoughtful hotel it is. 1) The hotel just renovated and look very new and clean 2) We love the pillows and beds. very comfy 3) My kids and I love the pools, wonderful ! 4) Room and bathroom is spacious with bathtube. 3) FREE shuttle bus to Bali collection where many things to buy and many restaurant to eats 4) Mini Bar -provides soft drinks for FREE and refill everyday 5) Bicycle can be rented with only 40K - our age 1 baby can sit behind with special baby chairs too. What a great experience to cycle at the beach with my kids 6) best security - checking before car entered the nusa dua hotels area 7) not far to walk to water blow. Took the opportunity to look at the Blow Hole our morning walk from inaya and it was a wonderful choice as the views of the sunrise and the sea . You can have morning walk at the park too. A very wonderful place. 8) great location with great friendly staff services. Very worth ! We love nusa dua and Inaya. We hope to stay more nights for our next visits. Inaya, we will come back again

We loved our stay at the chedi. After staying at the chedi club in Ubud we had high expectations of this new hotel in nusa dua which were more than met. We travelled with 3 couples and all 3 agree we will return. The rooms are large, well equipped and very comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with any requests you may have. We ate at the sakala restaurant on the beach, the standard of the food was superb.

Sofitel is a new hotel in Nusa Dua area. The hotel was designed to fit both young and older people. All the rooms and villas were easily accessed even though you are handicapped. When you purchase the Club Milesime Room, it includes many complimentary such as free high tea, free wine tasting, free beverages from 10 AM to 10 PM. It is worth the price because you can enjoy may thing the hotel offered (dance classes, aquarobics, etc). I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxation in luxury.

Let me start with our best compliment for the staff at the royal santrian. They are amazing, we always greeted by name. The staff always make sure all of our need is accomodated. If you love privacy and personalized services then this place is for you. The complex not quite big like other resort such as mulia or hyatt they have only 22 villas and the service is very personalized more than you can expected. When we check in they gave us the villa that located quite near the hotel that still on construction beside the resort. The workers can freely see you and whatever you doing in the villa, it's really discomforting for us. We asked them to change villa and they gave us villa that quite far from the construction site and near the lobby and all of our experience change immediately. They give free shuttle to nusa dua area so we go to bali collection in nusa dua by the shuttle. When we're taking breakfast one of their staff greet us and talk to us how they can make our stay more comfortable they're so friendly. They offered us to take the bicycle and ride it around the nusa dua area whiches quite lovely area. The GM also greet us personally when we're having a breakfast. I can't tell you enough about the staff perfomance in here. It's the best staff perfomance ever so far in our travelling experience. We are highly recommending this villa

This would be my 5 hotel in Nusa Dua. After reviewing all the hotels in Nusa Dua, we decided to try out Ayodya because of the value of money. At USD 130 it was one of the lowest priced 4.5 star hotel. And looking at the reviews and pictures, it seemed like a good deal. And I am really happy to say it was. It had nearly everything which Hyatt, Westin and Melia had at half the price. The room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast spread was adequate, the beach front was exceptional nice and the staff were friendly. The restaurants within the hotel were not as great at the other hotels mentioned but since we mainly ate out, it was not an issue. We did try the Octopus Italian restaurant and found the food to be just average. The swimming pool area was small for a hotel sized as this. And the hotel was huge. A staff informed that it’s only second to Nusa Dua Beach Resort in this area with an estimated 500 over rooms. Anyway, the pool location would have been better if it was just next to the beach instead of having their Balinese Theatre with lush water and greenery in between the beach and pool. But the best part about this hotel has to be its water and nature elements. Fantastic! I would estimate that 25% of the hotel is used to create this serene nature feel. We had only one disappointment which was their dinner with traditional performances. Usually the dinner comes buffet style but here they informed it would only be buffet if it’s more than 50 people. If not, it would be a set menu which would have been fine if they had given us a choice in the main course. Since my wife does not eat pork or beef, it was disheartening to see they were only serving these. And they served both as part of the set menu. At USD35, we would expect to eat what we liked. Overall great hotel and would definitely return or recommend to anyone.

First of all this hotel is about beach and ocean view, you will get stunning ocean view from the lobby of the hotel. We arrive early morning, so the room is not ready when we arrive. We booked the suite, the room was huge, and great, the view from the balcony is taking our breath away every time we looked at it. We take breakfast at the executive lounge the selection of food was average, but the beach and ocean view from the executive lounge was great. We've already stayed in multiple other hotel in nusa dua area and this beach is the best in our opinion so far. The staff there was very warm and kind. The facilities in this hotel is old but in our opinion the view and the beach can compesate that. Overall a great stay, and we'll come back here again.

I have come to Bali for 15 or 16 years. I come every year and and I have always given the other hotels a chance, and try the other parts of the Island. I keep coming back to Nusa Dua. I have tried some many of the hotels in Nusa Dua. But I have to say, for the money, for the incredible staff, and and the property, I would highly recommend it. Families and couples and singles, it's a prefect place. The staff are so helpful, and go out of their way to help and assist. Highly Recommend it e Nikko Bali Benoa Beach.

Stayed Seven days at Nusa Dua in different Hotels to experience. This Hotel provided great value at the time. Good, Clean room with excellent view of greenery outside. My breakfast was included in the room rate. Trust me breakfast is the best probably I have it in this hotel. Walking distance to small market if you walk 7 minutes from hotel. If you go outside gate turn left then small shops owned by locals mainly mobile top up, repair or retail shops etc. If turn right then all sort of shops where you would like to visit. Getting any taxi is easy I used all sort of mode of transport. This hotel is in Nusa Dua enterance As i said earlier all the great restaurant not far ,you could walk from here. Its a great hotel with location & value. Would definitely recommend. Tips: Book Room includes breakfast Buy local XL company prepaid mobile then topup for internet or local calls or international calls. Its activated in seconds. (Turn left when outside gate many shops around the corner)

This is a well maintained hotel, with excellent facilities. You don't need to go elsewhere as you would want to spend all your time in the hotel grounds, be it the beautiful rooms with their own-branded bed (so comfy), in the pool, or lounging in the beach. It's a bit on the higher-end of the price range as is with every hotel in Nusa Dua, but the hotel will make you feel you get your money's worth. Everything is grand here starting at the lobby. The staff will treat you well, as they are super friendly and hospitable. Breakfast buffet has a good spread of choices, and delicious, too. Super family friendly hotel with lots of activities for kids and the whole family. Love the free Pranayama class with Yoga master Jitendra. With free shuttle to the Bali collection. Nusa Dua area is more quiet and high-end compared to Kuta or Seminyak area, and your best option will be The Westin. Will try the spa when I come back with my family.

My family and I were visiting Bali for the first time. As such, we would prefer to stay somewhere safe and after reading reviews at tripadvisor, we chose Nusa Dua Beach hotel and Spa located along the beautiful nusa dua beach. We were very surprised at the security of the hotel. First of all, there was a security check point upon entering the nusa dua area. Subsequently there was another security check point before entering the resort. The resort itself is huge. When we first step foot into the resort, we felt as if we had been transported to another world. Very cultural and balinese deco greeted us at the entrance to the resort and also the lobby. Checking in was a breeze and we were even escorted to our room by the front office staff. Walking further, we realised that the resort is even bigger than what we initailly thought. Rooms were clean and tidy with amenities appropriate and adequate. The beds were comfortable and each room comes with a flat screen TV with alot of international channels. Both of our rooms came with a balcony that overlooked the pool and garden area which was great. Bathrooms came with rainforest shower facility. There were a number of international restaurants located within the resort. Its alos a short walk to other 5 stars international hotesl and resorts located just beside ours. To our left are Club Med and Conrad and to our right; westin and laguna. So there were no shortage of eateries. However, the prices of these restaurants are expensive comparing local standards. Within Nusa Dua Beach hotel, there is a restaurant by the beach named "Chess" and there is live music during the evening. The atmosphere and ambience is simply romantic. The hotel itself has a large swimming pool that caters to different groups of users like children. There is a bar in the middle of the pool as well if you may need a drink while swimming. Within the resort there is also a spa and personally had not tried the spa packages here as the prices

The best stay I ever at. We stayed in lotus room and was given a upgrade for free. The villa was new and beautiful especially the pool. Toilet was so big and cleanliness was up to standard. A beautiful villa. And most importantly safe.Staffs were so friendly. They were so genuine in their service, the best hospitality we ever had, we were looked after like newborns. All request were fulfilled. Since it was a birthday occasion, I requested for a decoration in the villa but the hotel manager Mr I Nyoman Sedana surprised us with a complimentary cake with a surprise welcome together with the staff. They took it to a whole new level. Indah juliastri thank you so much for arranging Everyday for us we truly appreciate Everything. Free shuttle service provided to Nusa Dua beach club and shopping areas such as Bali collection. Breakfast was good with choices given. Garlic bread yummy. Thank you once again for this unforgettable trip. no regrets, we will be back guys! Thank you so much

Pros- hotel very beautiful especially the lobby and rooftop. Quite cheap as it is located in Nusa Dua. The hotel provide a shuttle to the beach. Cons- I don’t like the smell of aroma therapy in our room and along the corridor. Maybe it doesn’t taste my taste bud.The water supply taste so weird. My friend got itchy on some part of her body due to water supply in our bathroom.Even the mineral water taste so weird. I have to buy the Evian water from nearby supermarket just to have a clean water for our drinks.

pros: love this place and we had an awesome time staying here. it has lots of trees in it, very nature-y. very lovely. our room was always well kept and we are in speaking terms with the very nice cleaner. the breakfast has a variety of eggs and pancake station, cereal, bacons/hams/sausages, juice station, rice, fruits etc. we were very full every morning. the people who work there always greets u and serves u with a smiling face. their spa rooms are small. 2 rooms, 1 for couples and 1 for individuals, so it gets a bit of shy. the massage was very heavenly that i slept and that means its good. do not go for their body scrub or the honeymoon treatment (that includes a scrub). they massage you first then give you a scrub and a bath. the scrub was eeky. it was all yellow that stained my gel manicure for days. the shower was of very poor minimal pressure it was a complete joke. plus the common sense is to scrub, bath then relaxing massage. they provide a shuttle to bali collection - a good place to buy souvenirs but a bit costly compared to ubud market cons: * the bathroom is beautiful and spacious but the showers in the rooms were not nice at all. it was such a low pressure so it takes so long to shower. * mosquitoes were inevitable. when we arrived, we decided to open the doors while we take a nap and it was a bad idea. we were swarmed with mosquitoes when we woke up. so just avoid opening the doors. they supply you with mosquito killer which was very handy. *the beach was not nice, during low tide, its quite ugly. during high tide, nobody is swimming. it's all the same beach shared by aston, peninsula, conrad hotels - in the nusa dua - benoa area. my sister kept on telling me to stay in nusa dua which has a nice beach. i should have listened even though the hotels there are more pricey. we were there for a beach holiday and didn't really attain it :) i'm listing all the cons and pros for people to decide if they should stay in this hotel. hope it helps!

We got a great deal for this hotel, so for us it was really good value for money. The place honestly is a bit run down.... bit the pools and small waterpark is great if you are travelling with children. The staff are so sweet and helpful. We had 5 lovely days here! Before coming to this hotel we were in Ubud and Gili Islands - please be aware that Nusa Dua really doesn’t feel anything like “the real Bali” and it is really touristy. Also everything in Nusa Dua is more expensive then the fest of Bali. I wouldn’t stay in Nusa Dua again - but it was just what we needed at the time after 10 days of travelling around Bali.

We spent a few days there. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They care for your needs and made you feel so comfortable. The views from the room and restaurants are really great! I would highly recommend this hotel to people who want a relaxing stay in Nusa Dua. A superb resort! The only problem I encountered was the locks of balcony. They sent the staff to fix it right away! Really appreciate their attitude. Well done.

This is my fourth time in Bali. Last year I stayed at the Kayumanis in Nusa Dua. It was a good experience but the experience at the Balé was better. The food at Faces and Tapas were delicious. The goat cheese ravioli was to die for!!!!!! The breakfast was a feast. The menu was very well thought out with a great selection of healthy options. Even though The Balé is an older resort, the management has done an excellent job in keeping the place in great shape. I love the pool. It's Yuge. We will definitely be back!

Everyone says Grand Hyatt is an old hotel. Yes, that's true but for a 28 year old hotel, it has maintain its standard. Although certain quarters needs upgrading work, this is Bali. It has the Bali feel with its 41 acres of land, its own private beach, landscaped pools and special villas in their North, South, East & West Wings. Within walking distance, just across the hotel is Bali Collection. Not much of a big mall but it suffice. Grand Hyatt is big enough if you need your own space for privacy or for family fun in its large compound. Service staff were polite and helpful which is very important in the service industry. The only problem I had was the bathroom. It only has one hook to hang towels & it was located behind the wall near the luggage area. Not practical. And my pillow was smelly which surprised me as this is Grand Hyatt. Depending on your needs, I still think it's a fine hotel in Nusa Dua.

I spend most of my year in hotels travelling and this is one of the best hotels in the world I've ever found. It's a prefect balance between Balinese and international, everything is well considered and without formality or stress. Arguably this is a six star hotel (butler service, no rooms just suites etc) and it feels like it. The beach is wonderful, the people are lovely, the standard of hospitality is exceptional and they really know when and when not to be attentive. We were taken aback with how great everything was here and we're pretty seasoned. Without doubt this is the best hotel in Bali and perhaps one of the best hotels in this region of the world. My only gripes were that in a few areas of the grounds the wifi wasn't great and that the veggie food was nowhere near the same level as the rest but this is pretty minor. It's pricey but you wont regret it.

The hotel is a bit of age now, but well maintained and the service and food we got was immaculate. I also think that Laguna has one of the best beach fronts and beach front restaurants of the hotels on this stretch of beach in Nusa Dua, having stayed at some of the other hotels in the same area. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and proactive if there was any issue with meal orders etc. In general they made us feel very welcome and relaxed throughout the stay. We would certainly come back to the hotel if we are going back to Nusa Dua.

If you want to keep away from the Kuta craziness then Nusa Dua is the location for you - but be warned that there isn't much in Nusa Dua to keep you entertained. If you want to laze by the pool for your holiday and head out for a few meals, then Nusa Dua ticks those boxes. The location in Nusa Dua was probably the best, it's not on the beach but the pool is much nicer, but it is next to the one street in Nusa Dua with restaurants. The shuttle can take you to the beach and the Bali Collection shopping centre (bot 10 min walk away anyway). The rooms were always clean. The cost of drinks and food within Nusa Dua is slightly more expensive than places like Kuta and the hotels and restaurants always put a 21% tax on all prices so don't get caught out. I had a few light lunches at the hotel and they were reasonably priced. The happy hour at the bar is the only time you'll buy drinks there. The staff were happy to book our day tours for us. Most attractions/activities are about half an hour away from Nusa Dua but taxis are cheap enough. I would stay at this hotel again but found Nusa Dua a bit boring.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. It's nice and clean. And overall, offers good value. However, location is good if you want to spend your entire stay on a beach or doing water sports. If you are in Bali to experience the culture and food, you should stay in a different part of the island. Nusa Dua (where hotel is located) is primarily a secluded area of an island catered towards tourist who stay in all-inclusive hotels. I spent 3 days there allowing me to enjoy beautiful beaches. However, there is a lot more to Bali than Nusa Dua.

The quality and spaciousness of the junior suite was very pleasing . Such a lovely room , better than some of the more expensive hotels we have stayed in throughout Bali. The pool was also a great size and they have plenty of sun loungers on the beach , which is also very nice . The situation is right at the start of the long Tanjung Benoa peninsula which allows easy access towards the Nusa Dua section to the left and Tanjung to the right . There are Plenty of restaurants around and there is a walkway / path , along the beach which leads along all the other Nusa hotels and restaurants. A very beautiful clean area . My only reservation was that the food was average at best . We ate 2 lunches and 1 dinner , a little disappointing , however plenty of other restaurants around . If however you are considering all inclusive then perhaps read reviews of those who used the package to get a more accurate opinion of the food . Overall though we loved the place .

We found that the Bali Tropic Resort and Spa was the best resort we have stayed at in our many ventures to Bali and will be making it our place to stay when we visit Bali next. We found the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms and grounds were immaculate. The resort catered for all water sports with offshore adventures departing right off the beach which saved the hassle of fighting with the Bali traffic. The food was great with a choice of smorgasbord or dining at the 24 hour restaurant, with traditional Bali dancing and shows that you can watch whilst enjoying dinner. From the resort you can walk along the beach front and dine at any of the five star resorts that are on the Nusa Dua beach front. All in all if you want to spend either I nice relaxed or action packed holiday you can get it all here and the choice of not having to leave the resort if you choose is a great option to have. You can walk or catch the free shuttle bus to the Bali Connection shopping centre in Nusa Dua where you can enjoy hassle free shopping. We strongly recommend this resort to any one visiting Bali

We came to Bali to attend a wedding and it’s my first time to the island. We changed 4 hotels for 5 nights ranging from 3-5 stars. I stayed there on 26/11 for one night. It’s small road to the hotel which the grab driver needed a bit of time to search it. The bedroom, garden, the pool, the meeting rooms and the surrounding are in excellent condition. You feel Our butlers ‘Pak and Nita’, the manageres ‘Neri’ and other staff are polite and friendly.

Our villa was clean and nice but only room upstairs was hot and bright sunlight. If the glass above was tinted or covered that would be better. The reception and concierge was very friendly and helpful. Great service indeed from them. Breakfast was OK not a huge spread and service was OK. The location is away from the main Nusa Dua area so it was a bit inconvenient but the management provided transport to the Nusa Dua area but not return. Overall, glad they took effort to decorate the place as requested for a birthday celebration.

At first we chose the hotel, but then we counted and it turned out that four people to rent a Villa cheaper. The quality of accommodation and service, of course, is much higher when you live in a separate Villa, private pool and SPA, massage for only$ 10 per hour, and not for$ 100-150 per hour, as in a hotel. Long chose the area of the island. The waves in Kuta and Semiyak are very large, it is impossible to swim, the beaches are dirty, and in Kuta generally burn the dead on the beach, it is their faith Hinduism, we were shocked. And in Nusa Dua, the beaches are clean, they are cleaned, you can safely swim, there is no current that constantly pulls into the ocean. I own villas the beaches are calm, no waves, with children, a lot of tourists there. The front Desk said the name of the beach where there is never low tide and there is always water next to the villas. By taxi 6-7 minutes,$2. On many beaches of Bali strong tides, and on the beaches of Nusa Dua-they are not.

It's my first time in Bali and I decided that I wanted to stay in Nusa Dua because it has some of the most gorgeous beaches in Bali. I chose to stay with the Mantra upon seeing the good reviews and it is within my budget. It is not a beachfront hotel but they provide free shuttle service to Geger beach and they have a big gorgeous swimming pool to make up for it. I booked a superior room with breakfast for two nights and I also asked them to pick me up from the airport so that I will arrive at the hotel safely because I am travelling solo. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was impressed by the service of their friendly staff plus they speak English very well. That guy at the reception is very nice and accommodating. They put me on the second floor which offers a nice view of the swimming pool below. I loved my room the moment I stepped inside. It is huge with a king size bed, sofa, fridge, hot shower, in-room safe, toiletries, towels, robes, bedroom slippers, hair dryer, and a balcony with good WiFi reception. I loved it so much that I wish I stayed longer. The only drawback perhaps is the smell of the bathroom - it has the tendency to smell awful probably some problem with sewage system. Please do look into this matter. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast so I am always looking for a hotel that serves delicious breakfast buffet with a wide selection of food. This hotel is just what I hoped for. I enjoyed their breakfast buffet. I also had dinner at their restaurant and it was superb! Very delicious fine dining experience. The lady at the restaurant is very nice too. Overall, I had a great stay at the Mantra and I would love to stay here again when I come back to Bali.
