This is my 3rd time in Jogja and i stumbled upon this hotel. I booked a room for 4D3N and it was meant for my husband birthday vacation. I did not request for anything but we were surprised by a birthday cake upon coming back to the hotel from our daily tour. Thanks to Novotel Team & Novi ❤️ Also, i like how they handle the service recovery during my stay. So, my husband ordered room service dining & opt for gluten free meal due to his allergy. However, i think there was a miscommunication and they delivered wrongly. But Maliza the Front Office Manager & the restaurant staff handle the matter swiftly by cooking a new meal for my husband & apologise on the lapse. During our breakfast the next morning as well, Chef Iqbal came forward to apologise & his team offered to choose the foods that can be consume by my husband. Overall, we were so happy & satisfied with the service here! The security, bellman, front office, bar & restaurant were all so friendly! I will definitely recommend & come back to stay at Novotel again. Well, this is one of the reasons i always missed coming back to Jogja because of the people here 🫶🏼

Stayed here for over-the-weekend friend trip. Superb location close to the Yogyakarta train station for to/from the airport. Great base for shopping, culinary and sightseeing within walking distance. Connected to 2 malls with good vegetation-padang food stall at the foodcourt.

Great place, Great location and great food too”
Really conveniently located in the heart of Malioboro. Right next to the mall and nice restaurant and lots and lots of shopping. The staff of the hotel are polite and helpful. Especially Dedi who was a waiter at the poolside bar who was really very kind and helpful and gave me the best recommendations. Have to compliment the chef as well. Everything I ate in the hotel was delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean and up to date tech wise. A very pleasant stay.

Honestly the best hotel In Yogyakarta ”
Stayed for 4 days and I can’t stop raving about the whole experience. It’s been 2.5 years since I came to Indonesia and staying at the heart of malioboro is always a must when stopping by Yogya. Not only is the location amazing, the rooms are huge and have all the modern facilities needed for all kind of travellers. The amazing view at the rooftop is one to die for with a live band performing everyday. It’s connected to Malioboro mall and there are an array of warung (food stall) till late to satisfy your midnight cravings. All in all, I sincerely urge all international or local travellers to stay here if budget allows, truly enjoyed my stay here so much

Situated in Malioboro street, you are in the heart of Jogjakarta city, and for a traveller who has limited time of stay, it is worthed to stay in Novotel because the easy access to the most of place in city. The room is nice, but i got one room smell of smoking in non smoking room. The staff were ok, with a little bit slow response. The front office is helpful. Overal nice hotel

Best in Malioboro Area”
This 4 star hotel are the best in Malioboro area. As in the heart of city area, they provide enough space in room, with microwave and sink. We get upgrade in high season with view, as some room didnt get view. Roof top pool are nice, if lucky, we can get Merapi view. Staff are great, especially in the parking area. Some to improve are fastest staff, in high season they cant fulfill some amenities.

Locations are great, in the middle of malioboro street. Value of money in peak season. Great & helpful staffs, great foods & facilities. The only complaint was the elevators were a bit slow & small capacities.

The check in staff need to be upgraded since we almost got double booked..but we’ve been prepared the best floor with city view for the room..the facilities are great, since room was facilitated by microwave and even a sink to do the dish wash..too bad there’s no safety deposit box in the room..their infinity pool is such a bliss especially in the morning when no one around..definitely will come back and this time not in public shool holiday time around..thank you, Novotel

The location is very strategic, in the middle of Malioboro but it is quiet because the building is not directly facing the Malioboro. No longer directly connected with Malioboro Mall but you can just walk a bit. The amenities and services are great.

It was in the middle of the city, which enabled us easy ccess to all the places, shopping was so confornatble as it has direct access to a shopping mall. Great food and room was clean and well maintained.

This is what a four star hotel should be! They have great customer service, the staffs are really attentive, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in Indonesian style, which has lots of varieties of foods and drinks, very detailed in condiments.. you will eat like a king! They even have traditional jamu and of course gudeg! The only thing can be improved is the hot water in the morning. We booked 2 rooms and hot water in the morning didn’t work on both rooms, we took shower in semi-cold water. Hot water in the shower was not a problem at night. Also, the walls are very thin, we can hear next door guests talking, laughing, and the kids are screaming at night. Our room location was nice and quiet, had we not placed next to family with screaming kids. Hotel location is nice, walking distance to Malioboro road where you can find lots of souvenirs and food. I wouldn’t recommend eating Lesehan in front of the hotel, it’s very dirty and the food taste is not good at all. Eat in Teras Malioboro 2 for good food. Overall, a good experience and will definitely come back to this Hotel!!!
