"Sunrise Inn is a great place to stay, mostly because of where it is located (just off the freeway in North Las Vegas) and how tidy it is. I wished we had a fridge, and the microwave is in the lobby so the motel is not for those plan to save food. At the time we were staying, there were no blankets on the bed, but the clerk let me know that they took over as new management and had ordered new blankets since they were previously in horrible condition. It is Vegas, so the blankets weren't entirely necessary anyway and I brought one of my own anyway. My major issue was the lack of a fridge but I knew that before coming."

"We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's not a fancy place like some of the more expensive hotels on the strip, but apparently it's a lot better than you would find there for the same price (we had some friends that opted for that route + wished they hadn't). We felt very safe in this hotel, which is important when you bring children. The drive to the strip where I had my conference was about 15-25min. depending on traffic (which varies depending on when you leave), and most of the parking there is free anyway (at least if you park at the Venetian). There is a covered-up smoke scent if you're on a floor that's split between smoking + non-smoking rooms, and there are no in-room microwaves or coffee makers available (though each room does have a mini-fridge). The rooms themselves are quite nice and kept clean. The surrounding area has some restaurants to grab a bite to eat or get take-out, but most attractions are going to be in Las Vegas itself, not North Las Vegas. We would definitely recommend this hotel overall for the price."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The summer temperatures were 20 degrees cooler than in Las Vegas, which made for a great escape. I scored the facilities with 4 out of 5 stars because of the amenities. The wi-fi is lacking, there is no coffee-maker or refrigerator in the room. And that is still not such a bad thing, but I found it really weird that they had me sign something that said no outside food or drink. I regularly bring a cooler with snacks and drinks when I travel. So that was unusual. Well, other than the awesome mountain setting nearby great hiking trails, my favorite thing about my stay was the food in their restaurant. I was blown away with how delicious everything was. I might make a trip back up just to have dinner on special occasions. It is now one of my favorite places to eat. I'd also stay at the hotel again as a relaxing retreat."
