It was very nice to be there for three days, that were the most wonderful days during my visit to Bali with friends. The room was much greater than expected. You will be hearing all the time the sounds of big waves. Easy to access. Welcoming fruits and drinks are very nice. A day trip to western Bali is also recommendable. Breakfast was great. The best part of this accommodation is the staff. I got hives on my legs but thanks to the staff I was able to get medicine for it. The waves are good for surfers with intermediate level or above as my friend, a beginner, wasn't really able to enjoy surfing as the waves are very strong and big for her level. If you don't like hearing all the time sounds of waves, then I think this accommodation might not be for. you. I am very sorry that I have forgotten the female staff in the reception but she was really nice and friendly. Also, the manager was the best. I will for sure like to visit again in the future. 여자 셋이서 한방에 머물렸는데 충분했어요. 침대가 매우 크고, 또 소파 배드가 있어서 괜찮습니다. 발리에서 3시간 정도 가야 하구요. 서핑을 즐기시는 분이라면 추천하고 싶습니다. 다만 파도 소리가 늘 들려서 그게 예민하신 분들이라면 조금 힘드실 것 같기도 합니다. 서쪽 발리 데이트립 추천해드려요. 숙소 자체는 사진보다 훨씬 넓고 좋습니다. 수영장도 괜찮고, 직원들이 친절합니다. 아침도 맛있습니다. 그닥 주변에 놀거리고 없다는게 아쉬울수도 있겠지만 한번쯤 가볼만한 곳이라고 생각합니다.

This tiny hotel is friendly and homey and ideally situated right on the beach. If you can be creative and a bit patient communicating with staff (whose English is not the best, but they try very hard!) you will receive very warm service, second to none. For a laid back short stay in the area surfing or exploring nearby, this is a perfect hotel. They also do bookings for wonderful local tours to learn about West Bali life ways and culture in a very non-touristy way. Highly recommended.

HUGE ROOMS with lovely high ceilings, fans and mosquito nets. Big windows overlooking the hills so cool and breezy. Great swimming pool. There is a nearby night market with Javanese foodstalls if you want to eat out. During my short stay Ibu practiced the gamelon; lead a fellowship group; cooked our breakfast; arranged flowers beautifully; took care of her incredibly noisy "laughing chicken"; protected her pair of endangered Bali starlings etc etc .Her husband the Bishop joined us for breakfast. We were visiting some friends in Negara, so this was more business than luxury (though there is a large pool in the back). Check-in was fast. Staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were relatively clean, but the twin beds were a bit uncomfortable, but still very reasonable for the price we paid. Free breakfast included with the room, and two large restaurants (one inside, one outside). i think there was also a large conference room in the back if you require something like that for meetings. If you have business in Negara, this is probably a good place to stay. If you are looking for a spa/beach experience, it's not.

Muklis Surfcamp is located very quiet in fantastic nature , in the middle of palmtrees and bananatrees directly on a river, where you can take a bath. Next door you find a great treehouse for kids to climb and cat to pet. The Surfcamp is very cosy and has a nice meeting area in the middle , where you can sit and can use a shared fridge. The sleeping rooms are small, but each has an own bathroom and it is really clean. Mukli , his wife and his two kids are really nice, friendly and help you with everything yo need. We and our kids felt really like a second home. The restaurant area and the beach yo can reach in 5 min with the scooter, but you can walk too. Mukli has a great and cheap warung with delicious pancake , mie goreng , snacks and cold drinks. You can enjoy an one hour massage directly on the beach. For surfing it is fantastic for beginners and advanced. But you need boots , because there are stones and no sand, where you go in for surfing . It doesn't matter, if you are beginner or advanced with Muklis help or his team everybody can catch good waves and has a lot of fun. We really enjoyed our stay there with this open minded and lovely family. When we come back to Medewi again, we will definitely stay at Muklis place again.

My stay at the Hotel Hapel Negara was very pleasant and peaceful. This location is perfect for meditation and soul searching. The remote location should not deter anyone from seeking a budget holiday. There are no reliable phone services, no transport facilities , no reliable TV services, all the food is traditional Balinese so may be putting off. but the air is unpolluted , no mosquitos , no sounds of traffic , no one trying to sell you anything. This place is Gods Garden

We couldn't have had a better time in Medewi staying at the Medewi Surf Villa. The manager Eddy and his wife were SO hospitable and made us feel like one of the family. The housekeeper cooked us a great breakfast every morning and kept the place spotless. When we left, Eddy even drove us to the bus stop and negotiated a local's price for our bus trip back to Denpasar. We'll be coming back to see Eddy and his family again soon. Thanks!
