Fantastic stay in Bali”
Natah Bale is set just off the main street with 10/12 villas. Large rooms, indoor and outdoor living and dining areas. Swimming pool is quiet and relaxing due to small number of villas. Villa and surroundings were cleaned daily. Wide selection of food, good quality and very cheap. (Cheaper than surrounding places). Natah Bale collected us from airport for 150,000rp approx 7.50, even waiting 2 hours whilst we dealt with issues with lost baggage in Singapore airlines. We requested a cot and mosquito net for baby which was provided free of charge. All requests met promptly and to our satisfaction. The villa is set just iff the Main Street offering access to 20/30 bars/rest within a 10/15 min walking distance. Supermarket about 2km away, £1 in a taxi. Beach is a short 10 min walk from villa. A great stay and would highly recommend if you are visiting Sanur. 9/10

Classic Bali”
I stayed in the one bedroom villa and it fantastic! The bathroom was huge and the bedroom large. Having the small kitchenette, dining area, daybed and sitting area was such a bonus. The pool was spotless and the grounds very well maintained. A very peaceful location yet so close to everything including the beach. I wish there were more hotels/villas like Natah Bale as it is refreshing to stay in classic bali style accommodation rather than the modern overpriced hotels on offer elsewhere. I hope the owner keeps the villas as they are as there is so much open space with the huge green lawn area. I would love to return one day and stay for a longer period :)

Delightful stay”
My husband and I initially were slightly unsure about our choice of Natah Bale. Once the fridge, tv, stove and toilet where fixed (immediately), we realised what a gem this small complex really is. The villa is lovely. The location is very close to restaurants and markets snd just a few minutes to the beach. The pool is cool and there are ample pool chairs. Or just relax in your own romantic day bed. We loved it and will definitely return when next in Sanur. The internet inside our villa (no 2) was poor. Though in the day bed/lounge area it was good.

Very nice hotel, but the technology isn't good.”
A very nice hotel, where the villas are in four parts: an inside bedroom, which is large and tastefully laid out; an outdoors living room; an outdoors kitchen; and a 'pondok', which is a kind of Indonesian gazebo. It really made you feel so much less restricted than the usual hotel room. A big plus. On the negative side, the internet was very slow (although who goes on holiday to spend the day online?), the internet wasn't cool enough (even for my Indonesian partner!) and the food was mediocre. There are some really nice restaurants in Sanur - I wouldn't recommend eating at Natah Bale. (The Western food was particularly poor, especially the pizza.) Overall I enjoyed Natah Bale, and I feel it delivers what it should for the price, mainly because of the physical qualities of the hotel. The extras (food, technology, service) could be improved, though.

A gem in Sanur”
If you want 5 star accomodation in Sanur, this is not the place for you. If you want space, comfort, a good night sleep and a nice place to relax I would consider staying here. The staff know when to leave you alone to chill. A 5 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from is all at the door step. Isn't that why you come to Bali? At the Natah Bale you don't have to sit in you room all day. This is like old Bali accomodation. You have your own day bed, outdoor kitchen and dining and a nice reading area. No one close enough to bother you. Just sit, read and chill. The pool is nice, gardens nice, and restaurant nice. If you can forgive the odd running tap and a bit of grunge, this place is well worth it. If you want luxury and like to complain about mosquitoes and bugs in Bali look elsewhere. We will be back because Im super relaxed after my stay here.

All good except for the pool.”
Choose for beautiful private, typical Balinese-style villas in an exclusive outdoor complex with only 6 villas. Comfy king-size bed with mosquito net, air-con. Clean! Stepping stones over a fish pond connecting the personal outdoor kitchen & day area with day bed and lounge all with overhead fans. Kitchen has bare essentials to cook &/or make breakfast with good fridge. A pool which was more of a pond as it was out-of-use 5 days of the 7 we stayed. The staff were very apologetic. The reason being the rain during the night and the PH balance. A beautiful, relaxing, quiet sanctuary during the day, (with unusable pool) and lovely, well-kept gardens. The beach is the best option 3 mins down a lane way. Evenings at Natah Bale are super noisy with bands in the several nearby bars and restaurants playing in competition with each other until late, but we closed the door. Recommended for traditional Balinese style experience rather than industrial style resort

Very good”
Natah Bale Villas are clean and tidy, they are how ever a bit dated and run down. They're probably about 20 years ols and are a bit worse for wear. A bit of a let down to arrive and see the pool was dirty the pool had algae on the bottom, but when wenasked them to clean it they did. Still you'd hope that when guests arrive it would be clean. We had booked a 2 bedroom villa but when we got there they had booked us into 2x1 bedroom villas. Overall we were quite happy.

Great place, close at the beach and a lot of space”
Comparing to the website, the villas are even more value for money. The seven villa's are situated in a large garden, which makes them away of the road. Both of the villas we rent at the beginning and the end of our holiday on Bali, had a large bedroom, a large open air bathroom and great sitting area in the private garden with a pond. The service by the staff is great and super friendly. I nice swimming pool close to the room is great early in the morning to start and end your day. The restaurant serves good food in the morning, but is also a good alternative for lunch or dinner. Even food not on the menu, can be prepared on request. It was a great start of our holiday (we spent seven nights), but also at the end of our stay on Bali we spent five nights here.

Beautiful full villa with humongous space”
This huge villa was one of the best places I've ever stayed. We had a big room with very comfortable, big bed with attached private bathroom which was outdoor. Hot water ran fine and I enjoyed having shower surrounded by green trees and flowers. Our spacious living room area was outdoor as well not only with a tea table and sofas but two big beds by side where you can relax and feel the pleasent breeze and listen to birds' singing if not frogs's. Around the living room area there was a pond with fish swimming around, in the middle of that there was pathway where you can walk through to the kitchen(outdoor)which had a big dinner table, fridge, stove and basic cooking equipment. The pool was small but nice enough to enjoy dipping and sunbathing. Apart from the beauty of this place there were lots of restaurants and bars just around the corner so we didn't have to search far for good food. Food in general around the area was lovely and very cheap. Overall this villa is a big thumps up!

The hotel is quite worn out but still has an old school Bali charm.We stayed in Villa 5 and found it so spacious and airy .The staff are wonderful and the rooms constantly cleaned ,towels refreshed and always polite and helpful .This was our second stay and we would stay again .

Our home in Bali.”
Great separate villas with spacious grounds.Quiet yet close to shops,restuarants,cafes etc. Staff are very helpful and friendly.There is a restaurant on site that can supply meals if you want. A burger and a beer by the pool for lunch is a great treat. Tours etc can be assisted by the staff. Our favorite is the outdoor bathroom and shower !! All villas have their own kitchen and lounge areas . Parking is behind each Villa. Beach access is just thru a resort across the road.

Old Bali”
Stayed 5 nights at the start of our trip and found this hotel to be a quiet oasis in the old part of Sanur. There are many options for food within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. The beach is only 5 minutes walk as well. Villas are very spacious and in the old traditional style of Bali while being very clean and well maintained. A great spot to base yourself if you want a quiet retreat.

Big room and good location”
Nearing from shopping street, clean and big room with a cozy courtyard, we can enjoy the breakfast at our own pavilion. We watched the beautiful Sanur beach sunrise just by walking to the beach. Excellent travel experiment.

Nice looking villas at a good price”
I mostly enjoyed staying here, the villas are beautifully designed, large, and comfortable. The big outdoor bathroom and shower was a treat. There are a few minor issues with privacy and noise. There was a construction site overlooking the outdoor shower which might be a problem for the more modest among you :) The villa's private kitchen and lounge were right by a shared swimming pool and I got weird stares if I was outside if there was someone in the pool. The villa is set back from the street but there was a bit of noise at night from dogs, and the maintenance staff (early morning lawn mowing). So I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. But overall I felt it was good value for the price and well located if you decide to stay in the more subdued city of Sanur..

Beautiful accommodation ”
Very friendly and welcoming. Villas well laid out and large garden with space to relax on the sunbeds or play football on the lawn with the goal. Great location with local cafes/restaurants close by.. live music night at Lingalonga bar fantastic. Great time.
