Highly recommend”
Fantastic budget hotel - super spacious room and bathroom with really good hot shower . Easily nicest room we had in Vietnam especially given the price. Pool is nice here and you get access to the other hotels pools too. We were sorry we were only staying one night ...could easily chill here for a few days or more and enjoy the hotel and pool. Lots of restaurant choices nearby.

Unbelievable value for the price, but it's true”
This is a great place to stay to explore Mui Ne, especially for the price --- easy to find down a small laneway off the main road once you find it. Google maps worked fine as we came in via motorbike. The staff were helpful, even though check-in was quite busy at the time with people arriving and the real bonus we found was the Breeze restaurant located just up the hill across from the hotel it's part of the group of Mui Ne Hills hotels run by the same owner. It was close and convenient, plus they would deliver food to the room if things weren't too busy. I admired the business as much as I enjoyed the stay, seeing how well the staff worked to take care of the guests from the restaurant, checkin and security. It's clear that the owner cares about people enjoying their stay, that's why he provides a variety of styles and options with the different hotels and room types. The experience was a good mix of a self contained stay with everything you needed, inside a local community where you could easily walk to a convenience store or local restaurant in the laneway or on the main street too. At first glance you might think the food prices aren't as affordable but look again -- there's a 25% discount on Mains for hotel guests and during the day until 9pm they have a special menu of Vietnamese "street food" with some great dishes recommended to us by the staff too. The Vietnamese beef goulash was especially good. We didn't use the pools (yes, there are multiple pools available since even if you stay in the "budget" hotel you get access to the other amenities. ) but they looked great, we ate breakfast next to the main pool in the restaurant which also has a nice breeze (hence the name) and a good view of the surrounding area including the coast. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed for even double the price they are charging honestly. I'd highly recommend Mui Ne Hills to friends and would stay again if we come back to Mui Ne.

Lovely hotel, best stay for Mui Ne”
Me and my friend were initially staying here for only 2 nights, but we booked another 2 nights because we liked it a lot here. The hotel has enough to offer in terms of restaurant, lounges, pools etc, but we could find some peace and quiet around our own hotelroom. We stayed in the Mui Ne Hills Budget (there are 2 other Mui Ne Hills parts, but we think the budget is the best because of the price versus the quality, and the peaceful surrounding). The rooms are large and very nice, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The food they offer is delicious and cheap, and the staff is friendly. We loved it here, we stayed for 4 nights and ate here every day, 3 times a day. I highly recommend it here. One thing to keep in mind is that it mainly focusses on the younger target group. A lot of young couples and mostly backpackers stay here, which could make it a little less attractive for the older people amongst us...

Rooms are good value for money and amenities are fab”
Mui Ne Hills is located on the opposite side of the road from the beach. There is a slight incline to get to the hotel, which means that it is located at the top of the small hill... you can get a glimpse of the sea but its mostly the tops of the houses in the small village. Fantastic as it means that your rooms are not overlooked. Breakfast is very good value for money - 2 USD for 2 drinks and 1 main. This is same price as the small eateries located along the side streets and at least 1/2 price of what you will expect to pay if you eat along the main road. Mui Ne has big beachfront resorts side by side, with no way to access the beach (security guards are relentless about not letting you cut thru the resorts if you are not a guest). There is the one and only small alleyway to the beach about 100m to the left as you hit the main road from Mui Ne Hills. Location wise, it is fabulous. Local eateries, grocery stall and motorbike hire along the walkway up to Mui Ne Hills. All reasonably priced.

Upgraded on arrival ”
We had booked 6 nights at Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel but to our delight we were upgraded to their hotel next door. Our room was very big and clean. The bathroom/shower was excellent (lovely hot shower). The wifi in our room and their restaurant was very speedy. The hotel also has two pools you can use, one has a more chilled vibe and other I would describe as a young backpackers vibe. The food at the restaurant was nice and they always have a daily discount on specific items such as burger Day or curry day. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly, they organised a great day trip to the fairy stream and sand dunes for a very reasonable price. We couldn't fault the place, would highly recommend for your trip to Mui Ne.

Fantastic stay at Mui Ne !!!”
It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Mui Ne Hills Budget, being able to use the sister hotel across the street facilities is a god send for backpackers, the budget hotel provides a great room which is clean, big bathroom and english movie channels on the cable tv, it also has its own summing pool. The sister hotel has a fantastic swimming pool area and resturant 'Breeze', some of the best food we've had since we start our trip. The staff around the pool are all fantastic and make a real effort with the guests. Each day volleyball is played at 4pm and is a great opportunity to meet some of the other guests. My birthday was during my stay and the owner/manager plus staff had got me a birthday cake and decorated a table, a real treat while being a long way from home! Thanks again for that guys. We hope to return one day and we will be 100% staying here if we do. Lawrence&Jade

Great Service that made me feel at home”
Mui Ne Hills is located up a slope, slightly away from the beach, but walking distance. We arrived late in the evening and was showed to the room. The room was huge and comfortable. We were also guided to have our welcome drinks at the hotel's café, Breeze, where we were greeted by the owner himself. For a Budget hotel, Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel has indeed outdo themselves, delivering top notch services. I will definitely recommend this hotel if you wish to have an enjoyable stay in Mui Ne.

fantastic place to stay”
This review is for Mui Ne Hills 2, but as guests at the Budget Hotel can use the facilities of all the Mui Ne Hills hotels I think it will be useful. Firstly, the staff are fantastic, amongst the friendliest and most helpful I have come across in Vietnam, they are a credit to the hotel. The pool area is a lovely hangout. The restaurant has great views and catches the sea breezes and the food is good. My room was clean, modern, spacious and very private. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel for the price! ”
We booked the standard double room in the budget hostel; however, when we arrived they randomly upgraded us to their 3-star hotel! It was very clean and the amenities were fantastic. My boyfriend and I were glad to have gotten the upgrade because there were two pools-essentially an adult pool, more relaxed and a teenage backpacker pool that played loud horrid music. The adult pool is for the hotel guests and the backpacker pool is for the budget hotel guests. Both pools were gorgeous and had wonderful views of the ocean. Their food at the restaurant was good, breakfast was $2USD, which was worth it. We would recommend this place, but jf youre looking for a relaxing quiet stay in Mui Ne I would look into the Mui Ne Hills Hotel.

Great stay for a few days”
We stayed in the Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel and payed 2$ per night. Since it was so cheap I would always recommend this place for backpackers. We were able to use the pool that is located at the other buildings of the Mui Ne Hills complex. However, I wouldn’t stay longer than 2-3 days in the Budget Hotel since it is a sleeping room with 12 people which can be a little bit annoying sometimes especially since there is only one bathroom that you have to share with 11 other people. We also loved the tour that you could book at the hotel - a trip to the white and red sanddunes, a fisher village and the fairy stream for only 100.000 Dong.

Highly recommended”
I booked a standard room but when i got there, they upgraded my room to a villa, which was freaking awesome (heard that a lot of people got lucky as well). There are 3 different types of stay in Mui Ne Hills - dorms, rooms & villas, and they all have different areas, but the best thing is that you'll get a wristband which allows you to use the facilities (pool, bench etc) on all 3 areas. Hotel is located near the main street, but it's somewhat on top of a hill so there's a 5-min walk/hike up to the hotel (which you will get used to), and would be a bit difficult if you have big luggages. There's also some sundry stores and cheap eats along the way too. Beach is across the hotel, but from the hotel poolside, you'll get a decent view of the ocean as well. The hotel also provides tour packages to the nearby attractions and the price is very very reasonable, and its a lot easier as the hotel management will do all the arrangements and will even go to your room to check on you, plus you get to meet other people from the hotel taking the tour as well. Breakfast was not included but at USD2 per person for a meal + 2 drinks by the pool with good ambience, it really is worth it. The staffs speak okay English, and they were really helpful in helping to book the tours, train/bus tickets to other towns, renting a bike etc. All in all, i had a great experience, and for the price, it's totally worth it and i would certainly recommend this place to other travellers.

Luxury stay for a budget traveller”
Me and my friend had booked Mui Ne Hills Budget for two nights, but in the end we stayed for a whole week because it was such a nice place... and yes, they did upgrade us to a family room - which was huge! We loved the three pools, all were in great condition and felt clean and fresh. The staff were always around to bring you a drink or food and to sweep up any sand or leafs to make the place spotless. Friendly staff! Only downside was not being allowed to bring your own water to the pool area - they said you had to buy it from them for double the street price... but in the end they didn't seem to care anyway. Also, we had a real struggle with slow or non-functional wifi in our room, but everyone else seemed to be fine so no idea why our room was so bad. Breakfast was simple, but good value. Food and drinks was pretty good too. I would stay there again if I come back! Great place!

Upgraded to the Villa”
We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the Mui Ne Hills Villa property so this review will be based on that property. The pool are was fantastic and only Villa guests are permitted to use it. The room was lovely and modern and extremely spacious with big bathroom and fashionable shower area. There are 4 Mui Ne Hills properties located in the area and as a guest of the Villa you are free to use the facilities at the others and the events hosted at the backpackers in the evenings were lots of fun. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we did the sunset dunes tour through them which we would recommend if only to avoid the Mui Ne police stops and ‘fines’ of foreigners renting motorbikes. Plenty of good food in the area. I would say it is worth paying the extra for the Villa property as the rooms were great and the pool is easily the best one in the chain. You can walk a short distance to the backpackers pool if you’re looking for more lively.

Tranquil environment ”
1. Toilet is spacious and water pressure is good enough. 2. Swimming pool is just outside the villa, you can enter without chargers. 3. There is also jacuzzi and plenty of rest chair for u to rest n hv sun bath. 4. If you wish to check in in the midnight, please inform the reception early so that they can tell the night guard. 5. They provide a sunrise sand dunes tour which is quite OK. Just book it at the counter. 6. FYI, though v booked at munei Hills Budget Hotel, v checked in at the bliss Hotel and stay at mui ne villa. They r under the same company. So if u happen to reach there n saw the hotel is under construction, don't worry, try to ask the other hotel around you and look for the sign board.

Thank u Mui Ne Hills”
Best hotel and best service for a very small budget. I came on a rainy night. It was very hard to get to Mui Ne Hills on this weather because its location is on a small road to the hill, not easy for newscomer to find in bad weather with lots of luggages. But after a call to a receptionist, everything was perfect and she drived with another girl to pick us up on the main road. They r not big as 5 star resort but they r always trying to give u the best as they can. Thank u Mui Ne Hills and all your people.

Great value, chilled and friendly”
For less than USD 15 a night we had a double room on the first floor with a large private bathroom. Our room looked over the smaller pool at the property and sitting on the shared balcony you could look down on the tops of coconut trees (and also get a good view of the construction going on by the Breeze restaurant). Its a mere 300 metres from the main NDC road in Ham Thien, but it's lovely and peaceful up here, you'll not heard a bus, bike or car honking their horns, just perhaps the sound of the construction (which didn't bother us at all, it's just worth mentioning that it's going on at the moment). The room was extremely comfortable, with clean towels each day (they provide separate towels for the beach or pool that you get clean each day also). There's no breakfast with the rate that we paid, although the Breeze restaurant 15-20 metres away does serve this. The smaller pool is open 8-8 and the pool by Breeze is open longer. There's more air at the bigger pool, but usually more people too. That's also a chilled out environment and there's no pressure to buy anything from the bar or restaurant if you don't want to. Happy Hour starts at 5 (until 8) and Tiger beer is 20k versus 30k normally. Very peaceful nights, with no disturbances and even when we checked out, they left us an hour beyond check out time before they came and reminded us we were supposed to be going (oops) Mui Ne Hills was for us a great location - there are pletny of places to eat locally, it was a great deal and I'd go back tomorrow, we loved it.

Unbelievably brilliant”
I travel for a living, so I've seen all sorts but I can honestly say that Mui Ne Budget Hills is the best value for money that I've found in Asia. There are three pools, all clean and inviting, the restaurant is great, the atmosphere is very social and the owner, Eric, is such a wonderful guy. Everything about this place is wonderful. No, it's not right on the beach, but it's a five minute walk and the views from Mui Ne Hills over the coastline are awesome. The rooms are excellent, all the staff are friendly and all kinds of travellers are welcomed with a smile. Seriously - it's great. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This hotel made our stay in Mui Ne most pleasant”
We were immediately upgraded to Mui Ne Hills 1 for our 4 night stay (yoohoo!!!), so my comments are about Mui Ne Hills 1. What a cute hotel! Up the hill (as the name suggests), not by the beach, but having a very chilled, cozy atmosphere with 3 pools with really comfy chairs, cute bungalows (Mui Ne Hills 2 is a concrete building), spacious room with a big comfy bed and in general, so pleasing to the eye as everything is well thought and planned, from the positioning to the colors and lights. Great views of Mui Ne, breeze and background chill music. Ah! And the Spaguetti Carbonara are some of the best we’ve tasted! You can use the bicycles for free and they rent motorbikes for $10 a day. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, but honestly, after seeing the pile of garbage on the beach, the not-so clean ocean due to the hundreds of fishing boats, the noise of both traffic and people, and the more than dangerous speed-boat drivers, we preferred to hang out by the pools in this hotel or went to farther away beaches. Thank you Mui Ne Hills.
