Great, the food selection is not too abundant but the culinary is spot on. There's salad, traditional herbal drinks, essentials, and also traditional rice dishes that change daily so it's not boring. The room is comfortable, although the bathroom doesn't have a glass cover, it's still okay in my opinion. Complete amenities, clean swimming pool, and the service is great for a 3-star hotel. They even offer food delivery service. The hospitality is excellent. So it's definitely worth it.

Love staying at Hotel Mexolie”
Initially wanted to try staying in a superior room, but felt comfortable and decided to extend for 3 nights while in Kebumen. All services are good... Especially since the hotel has started implementing a minimal waste concept. However, the towels with faded colors should be replaced. Although the hotel is old, the service is good. For the food, although the variety is a bit limited, the taste is quite good. Will definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Kebumen again.

NIce hotel in Kebumen”
Kebumen is a small developing city. Mexolie hotel is one of the best in Kebumen. It is located near the train station. There was a rumor saying that Mexolie hotel was located on a spooky spot which was an abandoned warehouses complex from Dutch era. My own personal experience, there is nothing spooky there. It is quite comfortable place with a huge garden and a swimming pool. Even there are many people living around the hotel complex and there is a military station nearby, so it is a very safe place to stay.

Came for a family occasion. I thought that the place is just near train station, but the fact it is next to the station. ;) Just get out from the station, see on your right, you're arrived. Its located in a historical land, heritage building. once you check in, you can use their facilities. i came too early and cant do check in, but they allowed Us to leave our luggage while we are strolling around this small city. Grab and GoJek are available here. So you don't need to worry if you have to catch some places. But please remember, since this is a small area, when you go a bit far to villages, no signal available. You need to use the "red card" if you go to the villages. ;p They have various breakfast menu (its buffet breakfast) my son just love the sunny side egg. Their staff are all friendly and helpful. Stroll around the hotel, they're are still working on some places for a new facility such as karaoke and a mosque. Its fully recommended. sure we'll be back when we go to kebumen.

A good 2-night stay”
We stayed in 2 landmark rooms for 2 nights for a wedding reception in a nearby kampung., The stay was pleasant, there were some issues including us not getting a grand suit room with a pool view. The receptionist refused to give us one saying that all the rooms were occupied (based on first come basis) even after I argued that I made this confirmed reservation about 2 months in advance and paid the rate during check in but I was not the one to argue further, why spoil the trip for one 'minor' irritation. The bathroom was clean but in need of a scrub to get rid of the soap stain in some corners. The food was good - we were served both evenings by an FB staff Mohsen who was very good and polite (we tipped him generously to reflect this). My 5 month old granddaughter enjoyed the pool so did we.

Arrived late at night and found the room dusty, bathroom so dirty, towels worn out and stained. Breakfast terrible. Kopi susu aren from the cafe also dissappointing. However the cleaning service next day did good job in accommodating my request. He scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned the bedroom thoroughly. Location is excellent though. The train station literally just next door. The pool also nice although again the cleanliness is poor. My niece found cicak swimming on the pool. But hey at least we had good time and slept fitfully.
