It was overbooked - had to stay at Dhyana Pura City Hotel - but was good”
When we arrived there was no room available, it was overbooked, the owner asked us to go to another hotel: Dhyana Pura City Hotel 9km away in Mengwi. We had a motorbike, so it was not a big problem and Dhyana Pura Hotel was good. Room was clean with ultra large bed and good AC and good hot shower. Pool was nice! View was nice on rice fields. So all in all we enjoyed our 5 nights there!

Pros: nice room with good AC, comfy big bed, everything very clean, best shower in Bali, small nice warm pool, free coffee and Tea facilities are a nice add on, Linda keeps the place real tidy and well kept after! Cons: some noise from other guests and motorbikes (parking directly in front). Stayed 8 nights - nice surrounding area (ricefields). Will come back in April!!!

Exceptional”
Mesare guesthouse was clean, new and well run by competent English speaking staff. We loved the comfortable bed and free hot and cold water with coffee and tea in the lobby. Though close to the main road with all conveniences it was quiet. The garden view was three potplants and the room 20 not 30m2 as described. This however didn't detract from a great stay and we won't hesitate to recommend the place and stay there again.
