"The Hyatt Regency in Merida is a great hotel, just a 20 minute walk from the main town square. The room was clean and spacious, with a large in-room safe. The staff were very friendly. I did not try the in-house restaurants so cannot comment. The pool area was stylish, but the pool would be better if it was heated... the water was very very cold. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay."

"For Mexican Standards and the price the hotel was quite good. Of course you can not expect a 5 star hotel, but it was clean and quite. It is about 35 min walking distance from the bus station. About 10 min walking distance to bars and restaurants. The shower was not the best, but it was ok. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was also friendly, but cleaned our room at 5:30pm. So we had to skip the cleaning, cause we were already back from our trip. Best WiFi that we had in Mexico. "
