"...this is it! Bali is short on good beaches, and Menjangan Dynasty has one of the few. Yes, it has coral bits in the sand, but it is about as good as it gets on Bali - and it is safely swimmable! The hotel is delightful, and the staff wonderfully accommodating. I was not happy with my tent the first night, and was in one much more to my liking before noon the next day. The Swim Center will arrange a snorkeling trip to Menjangan Island and when it is good (meaning plastic-free) it is indeed very, very good. In fact, I think it is the best snorkeling on Bali. I will stay there again!"

"We travelled as a family of five, and stayed for four nights in two courtyard villas, one of them with private pool. The courtyards are surrounded by a wall and a locked private entrance door, which means total privacy; you can even skinny-dip if you wish, without bothering anyone. We went in February, which is low season in Bali (in spite of the Chinese new year). Menjangan is quite remote, about 4,5 hours drive from Denpasar (Google maps says 2:45 but don't be fooled... Balinese traffic), which is actually why we chose this place. Out of the way from the hustle and bustle and away from people who harass tourists on the beach etc... We'd been looking forward to the total silence and peace of mind - But the homepage didn't say that the hotel is sat next to a temple/ceremony place where the locals perform their public ceremonies. The night we arrived, there was some kind of inauguration of a new temple, with extremely loud local music, and they were going to carry on until 4 am. Note: the balinese local music has no resemblance at all to what westerners call music, so it was unbearable... we soon decided to move to another hotel. Fortunately, we didn't. The management upgraded us to the courtyard villas, which were located further away from the ceremony place. We are very happy that we did not miss out on staying in this lovely hotel, and wish that we could have stayed longer."

"From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and looked after. The food was unreal! Both Balinese and western. Our guide for the snorkeling trip to menjangan island and kayaking was knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating. The cooking class with the executive chef Putu was a very memorable experience. We loved the total lack of single use plastics in the resort and the mind for conservation. "

"- the staff are friendly - the food are OK (this is a remote area), especially their croissant - the best thing to do is we can do snorkeling just around the pier, and we can see lots of fishes and schooling fish - the other thing to do is just relax on the balcony or even the beach and see many of deers, black monkey & grey monkey"

"We really appreciate to Made Taro for being very professional. He contacted us the day we checked in to make sure our arrival time at Menjangan. We checked in at late night and got our room well prepared. Made Taro greet us by himself, then i asked him if he could arrange my snorkeling trip for the next morning (i'm not sure it's still available because it's already late night) but he said he could (he gave us a good deal also). The cons are only the location which hard to find (google maps gave us wrong directions and also the dirty rocky road was very narrow) and the breakfast was only light snack and tea/coffee. But for less than $20 we paid, it's worth the money."

"We enjoyed the isolated Sitation in the forest nearthe sea. You really get away from the crowds. There is a transport, when you want it to the Octagon restaurant , where you Can sit under the stars. But most of all we enjoyed the snorkeling from the jetty, kayakimg and A morningwalk, where you learn more about the preservation of the endangered White starling bird. You see deer in the forest!. A minus this time of Year is that the forest is very dry! "
