"Despite the fact I had a paid reservation, staff demanded more than double to be added to the original charge. I cancelled the reservation and left the hotel. While i was there, I also noticed the staff member was arguing with other guests for What it appears the same related issue. "

"Nice place on a quiet street (if you don't count the mosque just 50m away) in the northeast corner of the medina, with friendly staff and great prices. The showers are a bit smelly, so maybe get a room with the shared bathroom. Room is large, bed is comfy and clean. Wifi is OK, not the fastest not the slowest."

"Located in a small series of alleyways within the medina, the riad can be a little hard to find at first, but Google maps will get you very close. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, and easy walkability to all major attractions make this riad easily recommendable. Breakfast is basic and typical (breads, jams, juices, egg, coffee, tea) and the wifi signal is fairly weak on the upper floors. But overall, we had a great stay."

"It is a really nice Ryad in the city centre (Medina) of Meknes. We got a great room (largest ones - felt more like a suite). The service was great too. However, what disturbed us was that there a things that did not work out, that one usually expects when going to accommodation facility. During our 4 nights stay, we never got supplied toilet paper (we even had to buy it on our own), and in the room it took around 20 minutes before the shower temperature was bearable. In addition, the internet was really really weak and sometimes simply stopped working. To be honest, I don't get how it is possible that good hotels/ryads are not able to provide a good internet connection bearing in mind that even the cheapest hostel in a third-country has a stable and fast one?"

"The very important feature of this hotel is that it is located within walking distance to the main attractions within the Medina. We did that after breakfast and it was superb for our short stay in Meknes. Souvenir shops were close to these attractions and I didn't notice any in downtown; so just buy them here if you need to do so. The rooms are fine but as it is a Riad, do not expect much on view from the window. If you need to get to the town, just get a taxi but they rare pass by in front of the riad - we were once lucky, but even the receptionist told us to walk a bit the busier place."
