Incredible views and service!”

I got lucky choosing the McMill house. The accommations are top-notch, and it is perched atop a mountain. (No need to take the ropeway to get a great view.) The staff and owner are very professional, and Jeff went way out of his way to make me feel at home. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Price is 7800 yen PER PERSON + 1000 cleaning fee, having a car is recommended”

I have mixed feelings about the booking. It's not a room, you book a whole house!! While booking, the price for 2 person is 7800 yen, at the place I was told the price is 7800 yen per person + 1000 cleaning fee (per person?). I refused to pay it, and just paid 9000 yen (7800 + 1000, didn't get 200yen change, just saying). 7800 yen per person may be a fair price, but it should be clearly stated during booking and the cleaning fee was not mentioned anywhere. The house is really awesome and clean, but 30 min walk from the city, so better if you have a car or rent a taxi. It's a log house on the mountain and it's super quiet at night, my gf was a bit spooked. I think it can be perfect deal for the people that looks for such a deal, but some people may feel mislead by the incomplete description.
