"The hotel is very conveniently located to Malate, Makati, and Pasay City. It is adjacent to Harrison Plaza shopping mall (low end mall). It is a short taxi or pedi-cab ride to the entertainment area of Malata on Adriatico Street and surroundings and to Robinson mall on Pedro Gil 10 minutes from Makati by taxi (when no traffic). Security is visible, but not overly imposing like other hotels in the area. Staff is very friendly. Housekeeping frequently removes used towels and wash cloths, but rails to replace them with fresh ones which sometimes proves to be inconvenient while calling for a re-supply."

"affordable hotel near robinson's mall malate. Hotel staff are accommodating. The first room we got had a problem with its electronic door. We were transferred to another room which had a non functioning shower bulb. But I would still come back to this hotel next year. The UBE airport bus is just across the road near the Robinson's mall so transport from and to the airport is not a problem."

"Second time stayed at Palm plaza, still my fav hotel in malate, location wise and the room size, ( mine is double superior room on 8th floor) , I would like to thank the receptionist letting me to late check out at 3pm without extra cost, ( selamat pó) :) like the bath room, shower area has a deep base, so no water splash every where while u having a shower, water pressure isn't great but it's ok , plentiful of power points in room to recharge Ur gadget, good city view, BUT!!! It gets really noisy between 12am to 3am, loud music from pubs and night clubs around the area, light sleeper should ask for room behind but no view though , Few things has improved since my last stay, 1st is unlimited free wifi internet in the lobby, ( used to be only free for 1 hour) hopefully in the future, we will get free in room wifi, free in room wifi is my 3rd most important thing I look for when I book my hotel!! 2nd is the all u can eat buffet breakfast (350 peso),it's not the best but some day they have really good food, you can check the food first. :) Agoda is still the cheapest online website to book hotel in Asia and their response for booking error is really fast, GREAT JOBS :) "

"if you're looking for a hotel close to the bars and restaurants in adriatico st, or the cultural centre and mall of asia, or just a comfortable, well appointed hotel in malate, then try the armada hotel manila. recently totally refurbed, the only downside is it sits in a rather shabby end of town... but then, it is an older part of the city. rooftop pool had lounges and a view over the bay; which at two streets back is about as close as you want to get to manila bay because of the foul sewerage smell. staff, rooms and meals were as good as you find anywhere in a 4-5 star hotel in manila, but room rates made it better value. and wifi worked in the room without a glitch, a surprise as it had been problematic in every other hotel stayed in in the philippines during my trip."

"First time I stayed at this Condotel and it was well worth it. The reception is split between JMM Grand Suite, another condotel and residences that live there. Security here is very good considering everyone requires an access card to get through the turn style before getting on the elevator. Check in took about 20-minutes since there is only one computer available at the reception and I just came at the wrong time when everyone was trying to check out. Be aware their credit card machine had lots of issues with people trying to use it to pay for their room, bring CASH. The room and facilities are very nice. Pool and gym located on the same floor. However, the pool closes at 7pm. I was upgraded to a room that had a kitchenette and a high floor that was a pleasant surprise. Four elevators service the high rise so no need to wait long amounts of time for it. Best thing about this place is the location, just a two minute walk to Robinsons Mall in Ermite / Malate."

" I have stayed in many good hotels in Malate/Mabini, but this was my first stay at the Diamond, based on a very good rate via Agoda. I enjoyed the stay very much, and will certainly look to stay again in the future. Just one small issue - the food was I felt very average for a hotel of this stature, and suffered as many hotels do in Manila form having chefs who mix in the salt all too liberally into sups and main courses."

Room size and bed was good enough to have a good night rest, which is what is really important for us. I would stay again with them and recommend the Malate Pensionne to friends looking for an affordable, clean and comfortable family hotel close to everything."
