We had a great time with our last visit. It was our wedding anniversary and birthday for my hubby. Booked a deluxe room but we get upgrade to one of the villa. We are so lucky! It was a second time to spend our wedding anniversary at Legian. First, we didn't do anything only had a simple dinner but the second recent time I surprised my husband. I made a reservation (May 31) dinner at the beach . My husband was amazed with the set up and a bit embarrassed with people surround us, flowers, candles around our tables with Cultural Balinese dance. Our sever named "Yogi" was great. Legian staff did a great job and made our 7th wedding anniversary wonderful experience. On the next day was my husbands birthday, he warn me no "Happy Birthday" song at breakfast... I keep my promise and told the staff instead they delivered his cake to our (villa) room. Thank you very much Legian staff for the great stay we had. Appreciate it! Stayed at Legian every time we visit in Bali. We definitely keep coming back. One time I made a reservation for our employee's honeymoon for years ago if I recall. Legian is a great place, easy access to everything. Wish you all the best! Cheers

It was very memorable. The hotel staffs are very friendly and attend to your every needs without delay. In our booking,we asked for adjoining room with balcony but on the day, there is no adjoining rooms available.The hotel staff by the name of Ayu upgraded our room to family room without extra charges!They are super HONEST too. During my check-out, I left my son's Samsung Tablet in the room. The housekeeping immediately informed he front office and handed it back to me.They are definitely 5 star hotel service!Located just walking distance to local shops and a few surf shops in Legian. Beach is just less than 5 mins walk.We wanted to buy a small cake for father's day celebration and we got it from the bar at 11.40pm!Will definitely come to this hotel again if opportunity arise

Central Legian hotel with beach front access to the boardwalk. Staff friendly and attentive. Rooms basic but clean and have everything you need. Upgrade to garden view or pool acccess for more modern room. Breakfast was a mix of traditional and western foods, egg and pancake station offers added variety. Overall a great small friendly hotel with good facilities and handy location.

I am a Taiwanese who work in Indonesia over 10 years. I been to Bali for 2-day weekend in February. I saw many China people and some Taiwanese travelers who lived in Mercure Bali Legian however there is no Mandarin channel on the TV list? There is the low traveling season in Bali now, however you can see the travler Bali over 70% is China people and Taiwanese, it's amazing!! If the Westerners prefer outdoor activities in Bali rather than stay in hotel, for what reason that hotel purchased International channel such HBO and FOX...hotel wasted money on those useless channels. On the contrary, most China and Taiwan people rather stay in hotel to watch the Mandarin channel they prefer at night. I think over 4 or 5 stars hotel should be equiped Mandarin channel to service Chinese traveler, you can find so amazing consumption power from China people in every coutry, especially there are over 70% China people who live in your hotel. Think about it!

I had a really nice stay at the Ossotel Legian Hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were greeted with a welcome drink. Our room was very clean and cozy. I loved the details and design of the hotel. The ammenities provided was also very complete - including loofah! Every day, there are complementary fruits and small tarts in the room (i guess after room service clean up), and also 4 bottles of complementary water per day. How generous! My husband loves their pillows. super soft and cozy. The best thing about this hotel is that it is centrally located in Legian, within walking distance to the street shops and restaurants. It is also about 3 minutes walk away from the beach. The beach is more quiet than the Kuta beach, which makes it nicer to tan and relax as there are less street vendors that comes around you to sell things. I would definitely come back to this hotel as it is excellent in service and location.

Thought we would branch out and try another hotel this trip... major disappointment spent the whole time wishing we were at the Puri Raja! Finished our holiday with a 5 night stay at Puri Raja and it was amazing as always! Love everything about this hotel! Only disappointment was seeing the 2 cocktails special has gone up by $5 in just 1 year! Making it not nearly as enjoyable. Otherwise best beachfront hotel in Legian!

Booked this hotel based on price - which was discounted dramatically due to hotel being in Soft Opening - (still under construction) - however true to reviews I read, main area of hotel with studio rooms is completely finished and villas out the back are being finished - which is where the construction is. I never heard any noise from construction out the back - however I would not be booking a villa here until completely finished - studio room however perfect! There is a boutique hotel going up next door - and this does create noise - but only during the day (never early or late) and wasn't really bad at all. (It is Bali don't forget!) Rooms are awesome - big and spacey, bed is great, bathroom also very good. Staff just excellent! I have been to bali some 40 odd times and I have to say I really enjoyed this stay. I often found myself saying how relaxed I felt (even with some of the noise during the day). Close to beach, and all that Legian and Seminyak has to offer. Breakfast is not buffet - but what is served up (based on menu choice) is beautiful and filling. This is not a 'boganed up' Aussie place - and hopefully remains this way! So if you are inclined to turn into a typical Aussie Bogan when you go to Bali - don't stay at this hotel - you will cause it more harm than good! I have to keep in mind, that my experience at this hotel was made all the better based on the price I paid for it - not sure what its true cost will be once hotel is 'fully opened'. Would I stay there again - absolutely!!

We are very fortunate to have stayed at the Legian Kriyamaha Villa....as the following morning of our arrival we were struck down with food poisoning from our previous stay in Ubud. The staff were so attentive , catering to our every need. They called in a Doctor ....so we felt we were in a very caring and safe place. Our beautiful Villa made the awful experience of sickness a lot more bearable. Once we recovered and were out and about , the staff continued to be super friendly, attentive & there was never any issues ...even when we kept asking for copious amounts of bottled water to be supplied to us . Our Villa was very private , self contained and Super clean. Having our own private mini pool and spa outside our bedroom...was so luxurious ! Our stay at Legian Kriyamaha was for 6 days...not long enough. The only thing I will advise the owners of Legian Kriyamaha is ...to source better food for their guests. The Villa doesn't have it's own restaurant so our breakfast was brought in every morning from some other place. It was bland and not of the quality we were used to. Same can be said for our ordered lunches...not of great quality. So we opted to go out for breakfast and all other meals. But having said that....we will not hesitate in staying at the Legian Kriyamaha on our return next time to Bali. Superb Villa & Brilliant Staff . Maria & Trent - Australia.

Pros: Location:Very convenient! It is just located nearby the heart of Legian. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and convenient stores by walking distance. Decoration:This place is best for Instagram and music! There are numerous of murals, and many photogenic spots including the rooms, the amenities, the lobby, the swimming pool, and the infinity pool. Facilities:There are bars and pools; the infinity pool isn't as wide as I thought. However, the ambiance are great! There's also a big WiFi speaker in room for music! Food:The room service foods are delicious and big. I can't stop myself from ordering them almost every day. Service:The receptionist is helpful and impressive. They helped to carry the luggage as soon as I reached the entrance. And I'm surprised that the receptionist actually remembers me after checking in for the 3rd day, and asked if I'm enjoying my stay when I lounged at the poolside. Cons: Can't think of any XD

We booked Balicosy at the last minute after being given the runaround by the villa agency with whom we'd originally booked From the second we walked in the gate to the beautiful garden pathway, we knew our holiday was really starting! We stayed for 6 nights in the Lime (closed living area) villa. It is the PERFECT accommodation for a family with young kids. Our little one is 18 months old and we arrived to find her cot set up (complete with soft toys and sleeping bag!), sacks of age-appropriate toys and books in the living room, and no sharp corners or breakable ornaments anywhere in the huge and tastefully decorated villa! The closed living area is a rarity in Bali but was essential for us with a toddler who doesn't know her limits! Pool and garden are beautiful. However, the thing that really sets Balicosy apart is the warmth and friendliness of the staff and hosts (Alex and Alex). It is a huge plus to have the owners/hosts living on-site as I believe that the quality of service provided by the team here revolves very much around a sense of family, and we were treated like dear friends. Whilst at Balicosy we left our daughter with a babysitter for the first (ever) time, which we felt confident in doing because the babysitter had been nanny to Alex and Alex's two little girls, and we knew the family were next door if there were any issues. The location is away from the crowds but very close/convenient to get to places around Legian and Seminyak by taxi. We had food delivered (from Poot Poot Kopitiam) twice and it was delicious - we didn't try the more western-style cafes and restaurants for delivery, though. No question that we will come back to Balicosy. We've had some great holidays since our daughter arrived, but this was the best!

we stayed at this property for 6 nights during the end of March 2019. we were on our honeymoon. the hotel has the best of everything. the location is amazing as it is located in a quiet locality but all major roads like the legian street and seminyak are at a walking distance. its a little walk away from the best money exchange and lots of mini marts. its walking distance to the warung night market where we tasted authentic local cuisine. the staff at the hotel is so courteous and friendly. they will help you out with anything. the services are awesome and out of the world. i had left my purse at the reception on check out, but the lady at the reception was so nice that she contacted my cab driver and handed over my purse to me midway to the airport. I was completely touched by this gesture. I would recommend this hotel a hundred times and I would love to go back there again and again. You made our Bali vacation so so so memorable. Thanks to the team...

I made a mistake by booking 2 different hotels for our 1 week stay in Bali...the other was in Kuta. The intention was to have multiple experiences. I so regret that decision because Seminyak Townhouse was amazing...a 24/7 well maintained pool, semi- duplex villa, a kitchenette, two master-bedrooms, amazing courteous staff and personally very important to me: access to tons of good restaurants around. Try the pork-rice-sambhal- matah at the nearby Warung Chahaya(?) for an authentic balinese culinary experience. Car and bike rentals are at your disposal too. The only downside could be that the hotel needs a face-lift. Regardless I till give a max point because of the value for money. May not be suitable for people accustomed to 5 star hotels and services. Only for budget travellers.

We're in a group of 7 arrived in this villa around 3:30 AM. Pak Nyoman one of the staff warmly welcomed and greet us with orange juice and wet towel. When we entered the villa, all of us was mesmerized...! !t is 100% same as in picture...the private pool is just nice and quite deep. Really2 love this villa. Every morning, Pak Nyoman and other staff cooked breakfast for us, you can choose from American, Indonesian or continental...for me American and Mee Sedap Goreng is the best. All kitchen equipment is complete, so you can cooked wutever you want. The location is also very close to Legian Street where the prices are cheaper than in Kuta. From our villa, we just walk around 15min to reach Kuta.

I travelled with a friend and had never stayed here before. The Magani is a boutique hotel in Legian, close to both Seminyak and Kuta. The hotel is very lovely and the staff are extemely friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and well serviced, we had everything we could ask for. The security staff were fantastic also, always looking out for us and making sure we were safe. I highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

Pros: lovely staff, quiet area but still close to Jl. Legian (10-15min walk), spacious villa, nice pool, very clean overall. Cons: Very minor but the towels were old with a weird smell (even when replaced each day with new ones) & mosquitoes got inside of the villa because of the sliding doors not closing properly (leaving a gap) but we just sprayed the room and put out mozzie coils.

My partner and I had an absolutely lovely stay at Fontana. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and most accommodating. They are always there to help and do so with a smile. No miserable staff waiting for the day to be over in here! The hotel has been designed by a Japanese architect and an Indonesian environmentalist and is absolutely amazing! The rooms are modern, quiet, the furniture looks like quality stuff (not depressing hotel furniture that you see in many other hotels) and the bathroom is wonderful! We loved the attention to detail in the design and the fact that the minibar was completely free of charge! If you are fed up with the beaches in Kuta or Legian (or the constant 'Hello Misterrr'), the hotel pool is a great alternative: clean and big comfortable chairs where you can relax. Wifi connection is good which is not often the case in Indonesia! The hotel also provided a mini chocolate cake for my partner's birthday which was a really nice gesture. The breakfast is superb: the pastries are delicious and the fresh crepes are yummie! The only negative about this hotel is the fact that it is not located in the centre of Kuta or Legian. The hotel offers a shuttle service to town and back but only every 4 hours. You will need to take a taxi but that didn't bother us at all (very cheap: around 10.000 and 20.000 rupiah). We were more than happy to do so as the hotel was absolutely worth this small inconvenience. If anything, it's a nice change to go back to a quite hotel after a day in hectic Kuta/Legian! We would definitely come back to this hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anybody who appreciates top customer service, modern rooms and great food!

It was our honeymoon. Thank you Maddy and all the staff who went out of their way to make it special. They covered the bed in roses and rose petals. We arrived at 11.30pm and the private pool area looked magical. The staff waited up for us and gave us a lovely welcome drink. We loved relaxing on the pool bed and lounges. The main living area is open and looks onto the pool. It has a large AQUA water cooler/dispenser which can give you cold water or boiling hot. The breakfast in our villa was nice. Great location.. If you walk out the back gate, you are on the main street in Legian. There is a code to re-enter the gate. When you walk onto the main street in Legian, turn right for lots of good shopping along that street. If you turn left, there is lots of good restaurants a few minutes down the road. Definitely recommend! We will be back :)

overall, i enjoyed my stay. the staff are very friendly and helpful. they do the usual stuff like call taxis for you. they also help you go to the nearest shop to buy ice or order mcd through the phone. the location is good if you want to have a good sleep. it's located away from the busy streets such as legian so you will not have any problem relaxing. though it also has a downside, the taxis do not seem to know where the place is. they know the approximate location but the exact location. best get a local sim with internet and turn on waze to show the way. address itself is not enough for the taxi drivers. the villa itself is not bad, although there is room to improve. the lights are mostly white which i hate. i prefer warm white. the beds are clean and comfy. the pillows are a little soft, but its very subjective. the bedroom door locks could be improved a little. the curtains for the bedroom windows were a little short, light was piercing through in the morning =) there is no telephone in the bedrooms of the villa, only in the living room downstairs. they only provide 1 card so if you go in a group, only one person will have the key card. internet speed is acceptable. tv channel selection is not bad as well. swimming pool is clean. no water boiler, need to use a pan to boil water. very limited hair dryer (need to ask from receptionist). i may complain a lot but these are petty things that one can easily close one eye. i think the most important aspect is the service of the staff, the quality of sleep you can get and the value for the money you pay.

Nikaya has that modern concept but still Balinese in its own way. Beautiful interior and exterior design. The villa is exactly like in the picture and location is perfect. Villa also provide motorbikes for rent (Rp 70,000 per day, which is about $7 Brunei dollars/ SGD dollars) which we use to travel around Kuta beach, Seminyak area and to Legian street (all about 5-10mins away). The bike can accommodate myself, my husband and my 5yrs old daughter! and of course, helmets are also provided for all of us too. There is also a cozy restaurant just outside the main road before going out to the villa and serve the best Khew teow Goreng!! and further along there's a mart that you can get all your necessities from. So food is not a problem! We love the private pool, my daughter love spending time at the pool! the size fits just right for kids but rather small for adults, good enough for dipping. We enjoyed the privacy and loving the outdoor shower! We have booked one bedroom villa and though the villa have 2 bedrooms, the top one is locked! its not a big deal but can be a bit freaky at times. We stayed at Jaya villa and has no fan at the dining area, it gets very humid but you can asked for portable standing fan for it. The only minor issue we have is the air conditioning inside the bedroom isn't very strong but we settled it by using the standing fan. The owners; Tina and Tommy are friendly bunch and they're very attentive to all our requests regardless what time, and Budi, their caretaker is very helpful too, he cleans the Villa every day of our stay there and provide us fresh towels every day too! Overall, it has been a great stay! Nikaya made our first time trip to Bali a memorable one! For non-fussy travelers, it is recommended staying here!

Everything is just perfect. Staff will clean the room and change the towel everyday. They got me checked in at 1st floor and the swimming pool just infront our room. I able to enjoy the breakfast everyday until the last day to check out. The internet very impressive, always connected within the hotel. The staff there are very polite and nice too. My husband accidently left his bag at swimming pool around midnight and he did not realize until the staff returned it at 3am. We very thankful for that coz inside the bag got all our passport, money, and wallet even though some money is missing. Just walk about 5mins u can reach a few restaurant like Restaurant Ayam betutu, Mcdonald's, Starbucks and Japanese restaurant. U also can just walk to Agung Bali to shop and buy souvenir. If u enjoy walking u can walk about 30mins to Legian, Kuta Beach and Beachwalk Mall.

My friend and I went for a 4 day girls weekend and stayed in a Superior room and we were really impressed with this hotel, and thought it was excellent value. The rooms are modern and attractive, the location is right in the heart of Legian, but is still quiet (so you have the best of both worlds). We had no trouble getting around and all the taxi drivers knew our hotel. You can walk to Kuta (or catch a cheap meter taxi if you're feeling tired!) or just stay close to home and shop/eat/relax. The free 15 minute massage was the best massage I had while I was in Bali (my masseur's name was Ayu). I had it on my last night, but I wish that I'd had time for a 1 hour one. It would have been expensive compared with elsewhere in Legian/Kuta (about AU$30), but sooooooo cheap compared with Australia. Make sure you book in rather than just turn up, as we were told by some other guests that they went 3 times to get the free massage and were told that they were booked up. The staff in the hotel were really helpful and friendly and being a smallish hotel, I felt that they remembered me from one day to the next. We didn't pay from breakfasts, but our friends did and said it was "an ok buffet". I'm pleased that we didn't include them as this gave us the chance to have breakfast out at local restaurants every day and it was probably cheaper and nicer. I would definitely go back with a friend, but probably not my young family, as the rooms are a bit small for a couple and 2 toddlers, plus having no lifts would be a problem if you had a pram.

It was an absolutely relaxing stay also with our doughter of 1 year. We had a nice villa with an upgrade and private pool. Everything was very clean. It is situated in a quiet zone of Legian but very close by scooter to the beach and the shopping mile. . You can rent a scooter directly at anemalou. We drove every day to another beach. Restaurants are very close by scooter just 4 minutes. The staff was very helpful also like Philippe the head of anemalou.Amy thanks to all for the very nice stay. The villa is fully equipped with a kitchen and a living room. The breakfast was not so good but no problem car four is very close and with the kitchen you can prepare your own breakfast. Also a child bed without extra pay was no problem. We will come again

The Nakula villas were perfect for a group of either couples or young people. The rooms are absolutely amazing, spacious, with plenty of room for lounging around. Likewise, the pool area is a great size. Complementary water in the kitchen was a fantastic bonus, as was the microwave. The location is not in the main area, but is about a 7 minute walk up the main rd (Jalan Legian) from which it is easy to catch a taxi. Also, due to the relative newness of the villas, no taxis knew where it was. I would suggest printing off the location on a piece of paper for when you arrive, and once you know where it is it is easy to find anyways. We really enjoyed our stay, and the attentiveness of management - our hotel manager picked us up packets of cards, pizza, and drove us around for free (although obviously we tipped).

We were greeted with a smile and when we entered our villa “wow”! The villa was amazing. All the staff were helpful and very responsive to our needs. Villa was cleaned daily and ammaculate. Pool was beautiful and we used it all the time..I was worried about missies but didn’t see one..spray and coils provided which we used on a regular basis as prevention more than anything. The back gate provided a short walk into Legian (left) or Seminyak (right). We found a great cafe in short walking distance SADA which had the best coffee in Bali and beautiful meals. We will definitely be returning to this little gem!
