"We booked a room before at Champlung Mas Hotel, and our first time in the hotel, we were very impressed and satisfied with Champlung Mas. The location of the hotel is very close (walk distance) from Legian Street, Beachwalk and everywhere there are places where you can find and eat western food (expensive) and local food (cheap). They provided us with the lower ground room, it was very big and the bathroom as well. Provided with a very strong aircon, a bathtub and we had a small terrace in front of our room. The staff are customer friendly and very nice. I do not have any complaints about this hotel, I would definitely book my stay at Champlung Mas Hotel, if I stay at Kuta again. "

"The Melasti is in a great location and was perfect for a cheap and quick getaway trip with the girls. We wanted our own rooms which is why we went for this hotel as it was affordable. I booked a deluxe room but my girlfriends could only get standard rooms however they both were able to upgrade on arrival to a deluxe for an additional $20 per night. The deluxe rooms have balconies and have much larger bathrooms than the standard as well as the room itself being larger with a nice sitting area. The rooms are getting a little worn but for the price this place is a bargain. The Melasti is beachfront in Legian but similar to all beachfront hotels you enter via the street behind (there is a wide pathway at the front of all the hotels that you cross to get to the beach). The staff were always helpful and friendly. We were given a generously late check out of 3pm. In the same situation, I would definitely stay at the Melasti again. "

"We had a great stay at the Legian Paradiso .Nice clean garden view balcony room was quiet .Great breakfast plenty of choice with bacon just ask they get it from the kitchen . Nice pool area swim up bar excellent .The only thing that lets it down was all the patrons hog the towels and leave them in the rooms so then there are not enough the next day by the pool .They fixed this small issue and got towells for us . The other major problem was the two menus at the pool one had food and drink in it then another just for drinks at a different price so we were charged from the new drinks menu .The food by the pool was very average from the Bloody Sweet restaurant at the front stick with the chips and the sandwiches as the pizzas were terrible frozen not freshly made and were tasteless very average pizza . The drinks and the food by the pool is expensive for Bali we read this from another reviewer but overall a great stay nice staff and clean rooms very happy with the room and hotel in general .Hope this helps others my fiance and i had a great holiday in Legian close to shops and the beach would stay again just more savvy next time with the pool bar and food there .More beers specials happy hour would be good as they do irish beers and cocktails do three for the price of two Bintang and that would be perfect . The breakfast was excellent thanks Legian Paradiso great stay Paul and Tania "

"Love the location and it's good value for money. Nestled inbetween legian and seminyak, the hotel has a walk through - the front area takes you to the main road to Jl Legian and the back takes you out to Legian with a short walk to all legian attractions and restaurants. It has a bar a few doors down and heaps of great shops and restaurants around it but luckily it's not noisy at all which is why I stay there. Rooms are a good size - although I prefer the downstairs rooms away from the pool, they have a bath and the bathroom is a good size and clean. Pool is a good size but tends to only get the morning sun which can be a little bit disappointing and the area for sunbaking is limited. Would I stay again though, absolutely - they have almost finished upgrading and I do love the location (best for shorter stays and shopping trips than lying around the pool holiday)"

"Hotel : Friendly reception, swimming pool with beach towel, poolside bar, availibility of safe deposit box in lobby, secure with friendly security guard at entrance, restaurant and bar, ground level rooms for people who don't like stairs. Room : Large room with balcony, mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, hot water, bathtub, TV and comfortable bed. Great housekeeping staff. If you want quiet, ask for room further in the hotel as room facing the street gets nightly free live music entertainment. Attractions: 10 mins walk to Legian Beach if you do not get distracted by motorbikes, taxis, touts, etc along the way. Restaurants and bars all around the vicinity and you will be spoilt for choice. 35 mins walk from Legian Beach to Kuta Beach along the beach strip."

"I had a really nice stay at the Ossotel Legian Hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were greeted with a welcome drink. Our room was very clean and cozy. I loved the details and design of the hotel. The ammenities provided was also very complete - including loofah! Every day, there are complementary fruits and small tarts in the room (i guess after room service clean up), and also 4 bottles of complementary water per day. How generous! My husband loves their pillows. super soft and cozy. The best thing about this hotel is that it is centrally located in Legian, within walking distance to the street shops and restaurants. It is also about 3 minutes walk away from the beach. The beach is more quiet than the Kuta beach, which makes it nicer to tan and relax as there are less street vendors that comes around you to sell things. I would definitely come back to this hotel as it is excellent in service and location. "
