I chose to stay at this resort on Sunday and Monday and I am very satisfied because I need a quiet space to relax and rest after a long period of stress ❤️❤️❤️ And 2N1D is not enough to fully enjoy the space here. I like the architecture, I like the attention to each customer, from the receptionist to Quang who helped us bring our luggage to the room. We also had dinner at Tho Quang restaurant, I invited a Korean friend who traveled with me from Hanoi to Yen Tu. She really liked it, and so did we. Surprised by the delicious food and cheap prices compared to a restaurant in this area. Even more surprised with breakfast at Tho Quang restaurant. I live in Saigon and I really crave for fern eggs, before coming to Yen Tu I stayed 2 days in Hanoi, but because I was busy traveling to Ninh Binh to see Hà Anh Tuấn's concert, I didn't have time to find and eat "fern eggs". And as soon as I found out, I ordered and woww 🥰 I rate 11/10 for everything here 🤍

Great experience - solo traveller ”
I was a solo traveller to the hotel, which I did think would be unusual, however I was made to feel very welcomed and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and will spend time to chat whilst doing their great work. The area and grounds are stunning and peaceful. There is a cable car to travel up to the mountain top, or you can hike the whole journey. The food served in both the bar and restaurant were all delicious and plentiful portions and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the Spa treatments. I cannot remember all the names of the staff but particular staff who made my stay special were Anh, the spa manager, a young gentleman in the bar & Thai in the restaurant. The hotel manger Jung is so friendly & shows a great deal of care to ensure guests are comfortable and taken care of. The staff are knowledgeable about taking the trip to the mountain/ village and tell you about the hotel. I will recommend the hotel and hope to visit again one day in the future. I had a funny journey back to a Hanoi in a taxi that almost broke down but I made it in the end. Thanks for all your kindness

1. The food at the resort is expensive and not very tasty. If you want to try Vietnamese cuisine, you can visit Nuong village for more reasonable prices. 2. I really enjoy the foot, neck, and shoulder massage at Lang Nuong. Everyone should try it at least once. You can soak your feet and get a massage while watching the village festival at night. 3. Please carefully consider if you want to climb Yen Tu mountain and visit Dong Pagoda because there are limited medical facilities. Even if you take the cable car round trip, you still need to climb a lot, and the path is steep and rough. I encountered a situation where a tourist had a stroke, and it took half an hour for a medical vehicle to arrive.

While my booking experience wasn’t the greatest on here, the rest of the trip is amazing from the moment we arrived. The location is as majestic as the photographs and it’s unlike any place we’ve been. The service from the staff is amazing including the Lounge restaurant, the main server there was so hospitable and kind. The spa staff stayed open late and kept facilities open so that I could put my children to sleep first before I came myself while my husband watched them. I highly recommend going to this spa. Nha gave one of the best hotel spa massages I’ve had and the facilities were amazing. There are many complimentary activities offered but because most don’t allow young children under 14 we were not able to attend unless one parent stayed with both kids which we didn’t. The room for the young kids wasn’t open but instead had them moved any activities to the village. The staff there was kind and patient with my kids. Luckily the pool was great and not too deep so my kids loved it and we spent most of the time there. The main attendant at the pool was very kind and attentive. Would turn on the jacuzzi jets in the pool for the kids whenever we came. I will definitely be back next time we are in Vietnam. We travelled and stopped and stayed at 8 places across Vietnam, this definitely topped our list of favourite places.

So far, Legacy is the best resort I've stayed in the last 3 weeks spent in North of VietNam. Location is far away from busy activities of city life and so you can fully enjoyed the peaceful view and fresh air. The hotel architecture is so beautiful with the authentic old Việt Nam design, quiet pool overlooking Yên Tử mountain, spacious and elegant rooms, comfy beds, perfect foods (I doubted at first but completely surprised after having lunch, dinner, breakfast there. We had lamb chop, steak, Viet spring rolls, potato wedges, hotdogs and many more and they were all delicious.). But the most pleasant thing that delighted us is the Legacy staff. They are professional, nice, gentle, well trained with the customer first mindset. DŨNG the Bellman, MI the Yoga instructor and PHONG the restaurant manager are so nice and knowledgeable of what they are doing. They made guests feel like they are the king and queen of Việt Nam back in 13th century. We were also lucky that the hotel was not fully occupied and so we could soak ourselves into the zenful atmosphere without being interrupted by the (typically) loud Vietnamese people who were born and raised in Vietnam after 1975.
