An affordable hotel in a strategic location near to city center of Jogja. It is in the main street connecting to Central Java, near to Jombor bus station. The plusses: affordable price, strategic location, only 3 floors, hot water shower The minus: renovation in the next rooms, limited facilities, limited parking lot esp for cars, no tea or coffee in room, mineral water gallon outside the room

The lobby of the hotel is quite small but the room itself is big enough for 2 persons (we booked twin room with 2 single beds). The toilet is large and they provide bath amenities such as bath towel, soap, shampoo and toothbrush. In front of hotel, mostly there are becak transportation who standby everyday until night. We took becak into Tugu for Rp. 20.000 (the location is difficult for us to walk in to Tugu) also far from Malioboro, Alun-alun, and Keraton. But, if you are looking for foods, dont be afraid. The location is near by the Pakuningratan, Poncowinatan dan Kranggan street who are famous for the fancy cafe in Yogyakarta.

well, we've arrived around 5 PM, the hotel name a little bit too high at the top, so when we passed the street I cannot found the hotel, I called the hotel and finally we found, the parking place is good, the staff is good, we enter the hotel to make a reservations, and finally we enter the room. the room is a standard for 18m2, pretty small enough but ok if you only a couple, me and my family is 2 adults with 2 children still enough. this hotel doesn't have a trolly to bring our baggage, but the staff is helpful, and thanks they have an elevator. at night we going around the city for dinner and seeing some attraction places, we comeback around 10.30 PM. from night to morning the hot water is not hot anymore, before when we arrived the hot water still hot, but later after we comeback from dinner until morning the hot water is cold. i don't know why, i think they have to improve this. we get a very 2 stars hotel breakfast at 9.30AM, then we start to package our baggage to leave this city. so for everything this hotel is averages, they need to improve about hot water and baggage trolly. thanks

Pengalaman menginap di hotel ini. Bed Sheet sudah tidak layak pakai karena warna sudah bukan putih lagi, jika dilihat seperti bekas dan kotor tidak dicuci, bau apek. Sudah minta house keeping untuk mengganti tapi sama saja barangnya tidak layak pakai, katanya semua sama seperti itu alasannya karena menggunakan laundry luar. Harusnya sebuah hotel memiliki usia bed sheet yang harus sudah diganti jika sudah tidak layak dipakai. Pembuangan air di kamar mandi bau tidak enak. Di kamar mandi tidak ada gelas, rak kecil tempat sabun, dan tempat untuk menggantung baju. Fasilitas antar kamar beda, yang satu ada teko pemanas air satunya lagi tidak ada, disediakan pemanas air tetapi lucu tidak ada cangkirnya lalu bagaimana minumnya? Untuk makanan breakfast biasa saja dan kurang variatif, tiap hari sama menu hanya 2/3 menu saja yang diganti. Roti hanya tersedia di hari pertama saja. Lobby untuk menunggu proses check in kecil dan kurang nyaman. Saya tidak akan merekomendasikan tinggal di hotel laxston karena harga dan yang didapat tidak worth it

Overall is good. Comfortable bed, excellent staff performance. But it is better if hotel can provide kettle in each room so that guest do not need to go to ground floor to take hot water for drink.

Not a hotel for foreigners”
If you are a foreigner I highly recommend you to NOT stay here. It's really far from the center (20-30 min walking), there is just 1 restaurant close, the breakfast is an Indonesian breakfast (spicy) and the walls are very very thin! I could hear the snoring of the guy next to us and the last night there was a baby so we had to wake up with her at 5am... We did the reservation through agoda and it said that we had a breakfast but the hotel wanted to charge us the breakfast even though they gave us coupons on the check in!! Was also difficult to book our tours because none of the agencies knew the hotel and some of them asked us to go to the agency instead of picking us up.. If you are a local, have a motorbike and sleep like a rock this place could be for you. If you are not just keep searching it is not so nice as it looks and would be a bit difficult for you.
