Wonderful spot!”

Had a wonderful stay here, one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Very good complimentary dinner every night with lots of food along with breakfast every morning. Free drinking water, very reasonably priced laundry services and scooter rentals. Great atmosphere. Wonderful, knowledgeable, and very helpful staff including Laura who often joins dinner and answers so many questions. What impressed me most was the attention to detail.

Humble staffs and great services”

Travelling alone makes me affraid to stay at any hostel. But here in Laura's their staffs were very friendly. Stayed with some foreigner must be a great opportunity to make friends and practice our capability of foreign languages. But not to forgot the bed was make me has any difficulties reached my bed, it's very 90° stair.

One of my faves”

Absolutely loved it here, one of my favourite hostels based on the awesome atmosphere alone! Laura is always around during the free dinner too and assists with any planning or tour questions with her magic black book full of tips for the area and beyond. Absolutely priceless. Highly recommend staying here.

Good value and you meet good people”

The hostel has a great location, very close to the two train stations (15 min by walk) and the malioboro street. It’s also surrounded by kampungs with very friendly locals and nice hole in the wall places to eat. Included breakfast and dinner are very good and are a great way to meet others staying here. It’s also cleaned daily. Very nice backpackers hostel in Jogja.

Cute Hostel!”

Cute hostel with affordable price. The price already included free dinner and breakfast! Location is a bit hidden, but it's super close to Lempuyangan station. The room was nothing special but it was clean and the bed was pretty comfy, but considering the price, you get more than what you paid. Plus, they have a cat 🐈 I enjoyed my stay at Laura's!

About Backpacker hostel”

PROs, able to meet new people from various countries. If u are lucky u may find the friendly ones...need something...the floor managers within reach same floor, nd not to press 0 n wait for few minutes or hours.. About Laura, the staff are friendly n very helpful, esp Martha who helped me to book Uber n gv her phone charger without hesitation, beside to Yaenie and Laura who provide their support. Overall atmosphere is good. No poor comments for the price given. Wish to come back again.

Terrible WiFi. Despite that it's good”

Terrible WiFi. Even in the common areas. Like you are having dinner in the dining room and suddenly everyone receives a notification in their phones because the WiFi decided to work, or your phone automatically connects to your phone data because the WiFi sucks (bad signal and terrible sign in process to get Internet) Despide that. The rooms are old and really basic but clean and the staff is really helpful and nice.
