Spacious, clean and convenient”
For its price, the room (16m2) is significantly more spacious than the other hotels of this price range. It is also situated conveniently near Kyoto station so dragging 3 luggages between 2 people wasn’t a pain. The room and toilet was extremely clean with no mould at the sides. It’s probably a small thing commenting on grouting mould, but when the toilet is small, it helps not having mould so close by.

Worth every yen”
The hotel is just a couple of crossings away from Kyoto Station. It is opposite a supermarket that is very well-stocked, which I highly recommend checking out. There are Lawson's nearby, a Don Quijote within walking distance, restaurants, cafes. You get a discount to go up Kyoto Tower as well. Staff are patient, polite and speaks English. Rooms are clean and comfortable. If I visit Kyoto again, I will book this place!

Great location for exploring Kyoto”
I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights as my base for exploring Kyoto and the surrounding areas. The location is very convenient, with a food store right in front of the hotel and a Lawson convenience store next door. It was also easy to get necessary items at the Can Do (100 yen shop) on the B2 floor of Yodobashi nearby. Although the breakfast menu was simple, I enjoyed it every day without getting tired of it. This hotel is really good value for money.

Great value for money - would stay again”
The twin room was modern and new, and although it was small, it had all the necessary functions and was comfortable. It is close to the station and there is a convenience store nearby, which is convenient. The breakfast was also very delicious. The amenities are obtained by taking only what you need from the shelf next to the front desk, but the cleansing and lotion were out of stock, perhaps because we checked in late.

Usually when you enter a hotel room, there's a foyer or just a space by the entrance. The room welcomes you with a single bed right away. It feels very cramped but it gets the job done! Room was clean. The bathroom has a bit of smell but it was tolerable. Near Kyoto Station (entrance via post office underground)

Picked this hotel for the proximity to Kyoto station. From here we were able to easily explore the city. Convenience store is close by (3 min walk). Many restaurants in the area as well. Rooms and bathroom were small but clean. Tea, coffee and other amenities available in the lobby for free- you simply take what you need. Would absolutely stay again

Reception staff specially the young man very kind, good speaking & friendly, the hotel near kyoto station just only 5 mins walk, Lawson is nearby hotel, n the room even is small but their amenities is completely like 5 star hotel, during my stay 3 days 2 nights, breakfast almost the same & f&b staff should be more improve their attitude Cz thy never will welcome their guest with smile like front desk staff.. their housekeeper is very politely, I love their front desk & housekeeping staff a lot.. will definitely come back stay again.

Pros: Provided accessories on a daily basis for customer use such as face cream, hair brush, face mask etc. The room was small yet homely, with a balcony access. Near the Kyoto station which is always a good thing. Staff were helpful, friendly and always smiling. Very obliging at all times, a truly unique Japanese culture. Cons: Breakfast buffet while good was the same everyday. Changing out the menu helps to relief the mundane food Japan is famous for.
