Exactly what I was looking for!”
I really enjoyed my stay at Krisna villa, with very sweet staff looking after the place and comfortable bungalows. Quiet location near the “secret beach” still within easy access to the main surf beach by foot/scooter. Simple, but excellent value for the price.

Classic Bali Bungalow”
I stayed on the front left bungalow. Steps from the pool out front. Left wall window faced a sloping cow pasture. So nice to wake up to. It's a 5 minute walk to a secluded beach cove. And a nature trail that has the best sunset views in the area. Harry, the host is very mellow and accommodating. Nice lounge areas with books and games. Will return with my family.

I simply love this place. I came back after finding it at the tail end of my last visit 3 years ago with hopes that it was still as wonderful as I remembered. I was not disappointed! The four villas have a lovely view of the ocean and giant cliff cove. You can use the pool at Gajah Mina next door (a much more expensive place) for 50,000 Rupiah per day. They also have a restaurant with amazing food if you want something that Krisna Villas can not provide, such as organic salads or fresh fish. The rooms are simple but clean. I recommend using a mosquito net to protect you from falling lizard poop though, a common hazard in Bali. The hot shower was surprisingly good. The first night I was there, the other three villas were rented by a group of young travelers who were a bit loud until around midnight. The other two nights were completely quiet. The best part for me was being able to access a beautiful beach down the nature path about 10 minutes away. I walked for hours each day and only saw a handful of people, all but one were local fisherman and their kids…and absolutely no trash! If you're into surfing and more nightlife you can walk in the other direction about 10 minutes as well. The waves are huge so only plan on swimming if you're experienced! Lastly, I needed very little from the staff, but they were all very sweet and responsive during my short stay. I hope this little oasis remains untouched…it's so very different from the other beaches I've visited. Enjoy!

Wonderful stay”
This guest house is located in a magnificent area with heavenly views: black sand beach, bat cave, rocky bays, couple of cliffs - all these are 5 min walk from the place. Krisna Villas itself is a cosy clean place with spacious rooms and all conveniences included. The territory here is also beautiful, with lots of green and descent swimming pool. Thank you for our great time!

Wonderful view wonderful atmosphere”
we really liked this place. we arrived late after a perfectly organized transfer from the airport. the villa was spotlessly clean and attractive. the breakfast the next morning was delicious. the service was what really made it for us. so warm and friendly, very thoughtful and caring. on the final day we had arranged a transfer back into legian and i left something in the car. deacy went out of her way to bring it back to me later that day. above and beyond. very impressive.

Staff met us upon arrival and gave us a warm greeting and refreshing juice. the room was large and very comfortable and we had a great view of the ocean. The food was also good for a guest house. Fantastic breakfast and great value for money.

This was a lovely room, very close to walk along to the beach. The staff were kind and helpful. The shower was cold but somehow this didn't ditract from our stay. I believe one of the rooms has hot water so you may want to request that one...

Vy nice, perfect for total relaxation. Nobody will ask u for massage or to buy anything around here. Very good for surfng especially if u are goofy and love lefthanders. There is only 1 atm close, its a 12 min walk one way. No visa but maestro is accepted

I'm surprised to see other comments about how wonderful the manager is - not the case for us! manager is cheap/rude¬ cut out for customer service Our experience started out OK. We got into the room - nice view. The room looked OK other than the dingy bathroom After dinner, we found a big drop of lizard poop on the floor (living on the ceiling)&a ton of ants all over the bathroom sink/toilet. The bathroom is not near the entrance, so we wondered how they got in. We noticed there were cracks in the wood around the bathroom doorframe. At this point, we were grossed out, but no big deal-we had stayed in all types of places on our trip in Bali&we are not picky people What we woke up to was a NIGHTMARE. Ants EVERYWHERE! All over the floor, our backpacks, our clothes, in our shoes. I've never experienced anything like it I went to get the manager who told us that we must have caused the problem by bringing something in with us like food or a sweet smelling lotion I told her that we didn't have food or anything sweet, just simple shampoo. She kept telling me that we must have caused the problem. I told her that we shouldn't have to pay for such a disgusting stay and there should be a discount She pulled some money out of her pocket to offer me. I told her that’s not going to make a difference and I expect a discount to make up for this horrid experience. Again, she told me we must have caused the problem & she wasn't going to do anything We packed up as fast as we could and got out of there! We shook all of our clothes out quickly (covered in ants) & left! On top of everything, it was most expensive room we stayed in on out of out entire time in Bali. You really only pay for the view, the service is atrocious & the rooms are disgusting. The breakfast is just a plate of fruit or a toast+egg. (Other places we stayed in had much larger/more generous breakfasts)

Good food&staff, bad sleep&bath”
Place is close to Balian Beach. Excellent and friendly staff. Breakfast is good too. But the rooms (all bungalow style) are quite dodgy with low quality matrasses, visibly old bed sheets and little smelly pillows. (We had room No. 4) Sink comes off the wall and toilet has a wobble. Looks like the "owner" did not invest or maintain for a while now.

Ok stay! ”
We enjoyed our time at Balian beach but we're disappointed that the water in the room was not free and the homestay charged a huge amount for it. Other than that, it was good. We enjoyed the pool, room, and breakfast!
