First-time visit, staying plan without meals from April 3rd to 4th. It rained on the first day and was sunny the next. Since it's a bit away from the hot spring town, it was very quiet, and I was able to enjoy the atmosphere of the inn as well as the baths. There's no need to worry about shopping or dining, as the shuttle bus service is well-equipped, so we used the shopping shuttle bus and opted for dinner within walking distance. The staff were very calm and pleasant. The service of ice candies and Yakult after the bath naturally brought smiles to our faces. There were a couple of things unavailable due to minor malfunctions, so I rated the facilities four stars. For dinner, we went to "Yuzuki," which was recommended by the staff and a short walk away. It was a very nice restaurant and became his favorite. Since his birthday is at the end of October, we are planning to choose a breakfast plan next time and go back to Yuzuki for dinner. The checkout time being 11 o'clock is also one of its attractions. We leisurely took a morning bath, hopped around, and stayed until 11 before departing. Although there was still some snow in terms of scenery, there were no problems with normal tires. The next day, we went sightseeing in the hot spring town for a revenge trip before stopping by the Karuizawa outlet and heading back to Yokohama. Overall, it was a very worthwhile trip where we enjoyed the rain and sunshine views of the Yu-batake!
Dear Konoha Inn Management Team, I was recently fortunate to have the opportunity to spend a wonderful holiday at your inn, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your selfless service. Although I personally lost my luggage on the way to the inn, your staff warmly helped me find my lost luggage. Their patience and professionalism deeply moved me. Thanks to your careful arrangements, I not only relaxed in the serene and elegant bathhouse but also enjoyed delicious meals in the restaurant. The surrounding natural environment made me reluctant to leave, and I truly felt the tranquility and ease of life here. I sincerely thank you for the high-quality service and thoughtful arrangements you provided, which made my journey entirely pleasant. I believe your efforts will surely bring unforgettable experiences to more travelers. Thank you again, and I wish you smooth work and prosperous business! Sincerely,
We are very happy with the many types of onsen and each demarcated in such a way that it’s almost like having a little pond to ourselves. The dinner was half-buffet style. The alcohol served is free-flow for 90 minutes. I love the beer and looked in awe at the shochu, mocktail and sake. Food is delicious. The hotel is not near yubatake, but the Shuttle bus to hotel is provided. Room and walkways are spacious and tatami is comfortable to walk on. Enjoy a Yakut after the onsen! The pyjamas provided (no yukata in the room) keeps us warm but it’s too warm to sleep in it. The room is warm enough for me to wear my own set of pyjamas. I wished the room isn’t so dry though. Perhaps I could have asked for a humidifier. I’m not sure which onsen it was but it was too drying for my skin. For the first time in my life, my skin was wrinkled after the soak.
I went with my mom and was very satisfied. Although it is a bit far from Yubadake, there is a shuttle that runs frequently, so it was fine. In fact, I liked that it seemed quieter than the city center. There were almost no Koreans among the guests. Above all, the staff were very friendly!! Although we couldn't communicate in Korean, there were no issues using English and body language. There were many things I didn't know as a foreigner (for example, the culture of paying a very small fee for bathing upon check-out), but the staff kindly explained everything. The building and rooms were so clean that I wondered how they maintained them. The public baths were diverse, with several communal baths and private baths, making it worth the experience. The building, rooms, and baths were all as beautiful and clean as the photos on the website. Since I was visiting a hot spring town, I recommend experiencing this traditional style ryokan, even though it may be a bit more expensive than a hotel. Additionally, there were free snacks like yogurt in the morning, ice cream all day, and ramen at night, which was enjoyable. The downside was that there was a slight odor from the toilet in the room (but when the door was closed, there was no smell in the room, so it wasn't uncomfortable), and the private baths were not very available after check-in. They were only freely available late at night, early in the morning, or after check-out until the next check-in time. So, I recommend staying for two nights instead of one so you can fully enjoy the ryokan!

Comfortable Stay with Superb Onsen and Friendly Staff”
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Japan. Although it's not near central tourist spots, the convenient shuttle bus service makes getting around easy. The unlimited drinks bar during dinner was a nice touch, though the food was a bit salty for our taste. The onsen was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, even providing a free supper at night, with breakfast included in our package. . The rooms were spotless, and the entire building's tatami flooring provided an authentic Japanese cultural experience. Overall, a great stay for those who appreciate Japanese tradition and hospitality.
