Expensive hotel, nice setting”
This hotel is on the rice fields road and there are spectacular rice terraces only a few minutes walk up the hill. In the hotel grounds the hill behind the pool is also terraced and planted with rice. We were surprised to find exercise equipment down near the pool as well. Our spacious room had a beautiful bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, a tv (no English channels), and large balcony with views of the well tended grounds. The property is quite steep, most rooms were accessed by lots of steps. The restaurant was disappointing, prices not cheap by Bali standards, and 21% tax/service was added. The visa card machine was broken and so was the bar fridge, no cold beer available. Service was slow and food not hot when finally delivered, even when we were the only diners, ordering the same meal as each other in the hope it would arrive hot. We stayed 3 nights, there is not enough to see and do nearby, 2 nights would be plenty, considering how expensive the property is.

A very nice place in the middle of nowhere. Lovely area, clean and fresh. Staff is very accommodating but not always knowledgeable. No cocktail available because no one there knew how to make them and they declined any coaching. Rooms are nice and a pretty good pool. Better than the photos

Agréable mais coqs qui chantent le matin tôt”
Les enfants ont bien profité du mini-golf et de la piscine. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de moustiquaire pour passer une bonne nuit de sommeil. Dommage également qu'il y ait tant de coqs à proximité. La nuit en a été franchement écourtée.

Eenvoudige huisjes in mooie tuin in rijstvelden. ”
De huisjes in dit park zijn vrij simpel: het lijken backpacker-huisjes van hout. Er is weinig luxe. Dat is geen probleem, maar de prijs is vrij hoog. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is niet goed genoeg. De huisjes worden goed schoongehouden. De huisjes liggen in een adembenemend mooie tuin met veel hoogteverschil. De tuin wordt echt perfect onderhouden. Er staan veel mooie beelden in de tuin. Rondom het park liggen de rijstvelden. Dit alles is echt prachtig. Er is een mooi zwembad, helaas zijn er maar 4 bedjes. Als de huisjes bezet zijn, is dit zonder meer veel te weinig. Het restaurant is vrij simpel, het eten kwalitatief niet echt super, maar wel voldoende. In de directe omgeving zijn voor zover wij hebben kunnen ontdekken geen andere restaurants.
