Our stay at Joglo Ago was even better than anticipated. The joglo is beautiful and full of interesting history. Indah and Philip were the kindest hosts I have come across in all of my travels. They were generous with their time and knowledge. The grounds were gorgeous and exceedingly well maintained. The breakfasts that Indah and her staff served every morning weren't just delicious; they were works of art. Thank you so much for all of your kindness Indah and Philip. I hope we meet again someday.

My family were beyond grateful to have the chance to stay in Joglo Ago. The location is easy to reach, and is quite close to the center of Kaliurang. Kalikuning bridge, where we can enjoy Merapi view, is just 10 mins walk. The villa is really homey and cozy that we didn't intend to leave for surrounding tourist spots. Staying in villa is definitely the best option when we were there, enjoying the Javanese ambience, old but gold decorations, and very simple yet beautiful backyard (incl. BBQ spot). Bu Indah and Pak Philip as the prop owner are really friendly. Mas Aris, the staff, is also very helpful & smiley. We received many heart-warming personal touches here. Breakfast is superb! Overall, my family can't wait for our next stay in Joglo Ago villa.

Comfortable villa”
Villa joglo ago is very comfortable to stay, especially hangin out with friends from Germany, Karseen and mbak Anti. We rent whole villa with 3 bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms. Javanese interior design where property is made of old teakwood with very less nails even on structure area. Host of villa, ibu Indah and Phillip are warm, helpful and welcomed. They always offer help or something, like herbal drinks made by ibu Indah herself for free. Suggesting a place to go for our kids or just Kedai coffee nearby. The other day, they also invited us to their another property with swimming pool for free. Kids were so glad to swim. For me, my wife and kids ‘Oxa & Oxi’ also ‘Adila’ this place is just perfect, feel like staying at home.
Pak Avi, it was a pleasure to host you and your family and your lovely friends, glad you enjoyed your stay, and barbeque in the garden. We loved your kids, they are very bright and always curious about the environment etc. You left the Joglo Ago very clean, and everything in order.
