Fantastic Hotel! And now is a great time to visit Cambodia!”
We visited Siem Reap and stayed at the Jaya House River Hotel at the end of January 2022. Firstly, if you are thinking of visiting Cambodia, then NOW is the time to do it! You'll never get the chance to see Angkor Wat and the other amazing temples this quiet and free of tourists ever again. Coupled with the fact that this wonderful country and its people have felt the impact of Covid-19 more than most, and are absolutely crying out for tourism to return, there really is no better time to visit Cambodia than now. With regards to the Jaya House River Hotel - we cannot speak highly enough of it. So many nice touches that really made the trip memorable. Great airport pick up with a detour via Angkor Wat to really get you excited, and a wonderful reception on arrival, including welcome drinks with the hotel manager Mr Chris. Our room was wonderful - comfortable, clean, lovely bathroom with big bathtub, free mini bar and very spacious. Very comfy bed and ample space for luggage etc. The hotel felt extremely clean throughout our stay - hand sanitizer provided, and staff doing a great job of cleaning rooms and communal areas round the clock. The amenities and hotel grounds are wonderful - you really feel far removed from the hustle and bustle of the central city. 2 beautiful swimming pools, lovely open green space for sunbathing/relaxing, an excellent restaurant and a fantastic rooftop bar with epic sunset views. We had breakfast included at the restaurant each morning and it was delicious - a buffet is provided, but there is also an extensive a la carte menu to choose from which is included, and has many western, local and vegetarian options available. The staff were all wonderful - due to covid-19, the hotel is currently running with a reduced staff given booking numbers still haven't picked up, but that didn't impact the high levels of service at all. They all had a great attitude, very positive, friendly and attentive, and always helped us with any queries or needs.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”
Top notch service from all staff at this property. They were warm and welcoming. Tips: There are tuktuks catering to hotel guests which can bring you around and pick you up at a small fee. It's convenient and safe, you do not need to haggle with others.

Amazing hotel with amazing hospitality”
This is one of the best hotel I've stayed at in Siem reap, to date. Jayon house river park is a plastic free hotel. Superb! The location is right in city center. I stayed at the Junior suite. The facilities and interior design is beyond words. I was very impressed. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional”
Have lived in Thailand for 16 years and traveled throughout SEA. Jaya House is the best hotel experience we have had around here and maybe the best anywhere in the world. The other positive reviews are honest - this place is a cut above, and the best part are the staff. We will return!

5-star services in a beautiful property ”
I travel frequently in Asia for work. I always looked at reviews before choosing a hotel yet keep a reasonable doubt with the unbelievably great reviews for some of the hotels. We can't be happier having chosen to stay at Jaya House River Park which exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I can't agree more with all the positive reviews posted by other guests to this property. Everything people said is true!! The breakfast is excellent. The location and facilities are great. Design of the hotel tasteful yet functional, and the room is super clean and spacious. What impressed us the most are the staff who provide the best personal services throughout our stay and the owner's generosity and actual actions taken to help the local people apart from running this hotel to a 5-star standard. We witnessed the kind hearts, strong minds and diligence of the Cambodian people. This is our first visit to Siem Reap and we had more fun and takeaway than our expectation. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again at our next visit.

The only place to stay in Siem Reap!”
Unbelievable....!! If you have any desire to visit Siem Reap, you need look no further than Jaya House as your place to stay! This hotel puts the "SERVICE" back in in service. There are few times when staying at a hotel can give you a feeling of win (for you), win (for the hotel owner), and win (for the hotel employees), but Jaya House delivers on this and more. The service is unsurpassed - from the pick-up at the airport, to the cool, jasmine scented towels awaiting you upon your return to the hotel after a long day touring the city, to the staff who are always willing and anxious to assist you with even the smallest detail, to the hotel philosophy of trying to leave as little impact on the environment as possible, to the amazingly delicious food that is grown by the hotel itself and served in tremendous abundance. You have a choice of where to spend your money for hotels in Siem Reap - spend it at Jaya House!

Siem Reap's best kept secret!! ”
(Note: I'm putting the same review on TripAdvisor because I just wrote my heart out.) Jaya House is a little bit of heaven on earth! If you don't like being treated like royalty well go some place else. Worry about nothing because everything is included. Our family was greeted at the airport with warm smiles from our hostess Sarah and Chai-chai our driver, cold towels and refreshing drinks. Before we could get settled in our private car we were at the hotel. It took less than 20 minutes! The beloved Angkor Wat is also only 20 minutes away!!!!!!! Christian the owner greeted us as we got out of our taxi and surprised us by taking time to have a friendly chat and some white wine with us while we checked-in. Because, when is it not time for wine!!! Did we actually check-in? Now that I think about it, I only remember the gorgeous lounge and the wine. Facing the river, Jay House is perfectly located minutes from Old Market and Made in the Cambodia Market. Every corner of the hotel is carefully curated. The gardens, the koi fish, the darling swings and of course the pool made from pure silver. My cousin and I couldn't have been more delighted. I've traveled the world from Cape Town, to Bali to Montego Bay and never felt so at home. Moon and all the other waiters entertained us at breakfast. Sam and Tom won us over with their knowledgeable tours. The manager Chris, you've got to talk to this guy, explained why this boutique hotel makes all other international chain hotels where he has worked pale in comparison. We didn't need the explanation we already knew that this gem of a hotel is our new family in Siem Reap and we will be returning home to them soon. We already miss everyone there. I'm dreaming about Fish Amok and sticky rice. And I'm not ashamed to say I cried a little when Sarah waved us off. Listen, come for Angkor Wok stay for the royal treatment.

Experience of a lifetime”
Stop looking around, this is the place to stay! We were originally planning to stay at Park Hyatt and later on went for Jaya House after reading all the reviews. While I’m sure Park Hyatt is a beautiful hotel with its unique charm (same goes for other five star hotels in Siem Reap), what make Jaya House standout are its people - friendly, genuine and warm, who go out of their way to make sure their guests have nothing but a perfect stay. We also joined their private tour. Tiger our guide and Kim Leng the house photographer became our best company during this trip and I couldn’t thank them enough for showing us around beautiful hidden spots in the region. Couldn’t wait to come back to Jaya House again.

Perfection in a nutshell”
Hands down the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. When we arrived late due to a delayed flight, they had freshly toasted sandwiches prepared for us in the room. Their staff are very mindful of details, down to remembering what your activity was for the day and remembering guests’ names. You can tell this sort of care for their guests is in their nature, and this is genuinely what made our stay so wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfectly planned and ready for us- including a totally unexpected breakfast spread in the lobby plus a packed breakfast box at 4:30AM before watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat. A big part of the reason why we didn’t want to leave was not the experience or tours we had in Siem Reap, but the hospitality of the staff at the hotel- they made it feel like home, and we would gladly stay at Jaya House again in the future!

Best place in Siem Reap!”
Jaya House is a fantastic place to stay. Cambodia is a cheap place to visit, so I was at first apprehensive to pay Western (3 star) prices for our trip there because as others had told us you are hardly in your room; I was completely wrong! Do yourself a favor and book now. Touring temples is exhausting in the heat and having such a wonderful place to return to is well worth the small investment. Take this opportunity to stay in one of the best hotels you ever will. From airport pickup, to airport drop off, my wife and I have zero complaints. The staff is wonderful, the food is great (I spent five weeks in Bangkok eating everything from street food to fancy restaurants... I know good SE Asia food), and the property is beautiful. Visit Siem Reap now, and stay here!

Changing the face of hospitality”
I don't usually get attached to hotels but I found it very hard to leave this place. The hotel is stunning itself but what really stood out were the staff. They say the future of hospitality is in its experience and that's just what they delivered, a true personalized service that made us feel not only welcome but truly at home. My partner and I got into an accident one night and ended up in hospital, their Guest Services Manager on night duty namely Hak Ukdy had taken us to hospital and stayed with us overnight until we got discharged and taken back to the hotel. When we checked-out on our last day, their entire Front Office staff were waiting for us at the lobby with a bouquet of roses to send us off. Hak Ukdy came by on his day off to also send us to the airport and say goodbye. He went beyond his role whereby we felt he genuinely cared for us and made us feel safe, we will never forget him. Hak Ukdy and every employee we interacted with showed true passion, love and dedication to their job at Jaya House River Park. Their staff are inspiring and this is what will make anyone's experience at Jaya House River Park a special one. I will recommend them over and over again.

Best Service experience ever”
We booked Jaya House River Park last minute to spent a weekend visiting Ankor. As we are travelling a lot we were a bit suspicious about the very high ratings for this property compared to others but already on the first day of our stay we could see why people like it so much. Starting from the airport until back to the airport we felt like being carried by the staff during all the stay with excellent service and friendliness coming from the heart. As a guest you can feel that people are truly interested in making your stay as perfect as possible and that it's not a show. Everyone is taking their time to explain as much as possible about the hotel concept, the city, the country and the temples. We felt incredibly welcomed and no wish was left open at the end. One example: they wanted to bring a fresh coconut for us to the pool (we didn't order it) but we had already left back to the room to get ready for the trip to the temple. The staff made sure we will still get the coconut to enjoy during the ride to the temple and placed it at the tuk-tuk waiting for us to take us on the trip. I especially liked the hotel because they have a concept for protecting the environment (for example they use no plastic at all and they are making a peeling cream out of coffee from the breakfast for each guest for free) and also giving back to the community like cleaning the river, planting trees and many more. I could go on and on with many examples like that. All I can say is, try this hotel if you get any chance. It's worth it.

Home Away From Home”
Fantastic experience starting from our arrival greetings at the airport to our check out. Everything was what was expected of a Five Star Hotel and so much more. Shout out to Christian and the team for a great job well done. Will definitely return to Jaya House the next time we are in Siem Reap.

An exceptional hotel”
Jaya House River Park is exceptional in every way. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and hotel environment are beautiful. We were picked up from the airport for free and greeted with cool towels and fresh fruit. Once we arrived at the hotel there were more cool towels and a "Welcome home" from staff and management. As we arrived early we were offered breakfast. Food was fantastic. For the rest of our trip everything was perfect. Free mini bar, complementary transport and pick up in town. There was even fresh coffee and pastries before our 4.30 am trip to sunrise at Angkor Wat.

Exceptional”
We have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and Jaya House River Park rates right up there with the best of them in terms of service. The grounds were beautiful and the food was delicious. The special touches - such as spraying bug spray on us whenever we left the property, providing us with a local cell phone so we could call for a tuk tuk back, offering to send us with a to go container of breakfast on our final day to keep us fueled for a long trip, commitment to reducing environmental waste by giving us a reusable water bottle upon check-in, and more - sets Jaya House apart from the rest.

Quite possibly the best hotel in the world?”
Truly amazing hotel!!! The most elegant decor, staff that will bend over backwards for you, a delicious breakfast, breathtaking pools and a secluded setting. All minutes from central Siem Reap. We recommend using the bicycles provided by the hotel to get around. The entire set-up has a very ethical vibe with no plastic and a focus on the education and well being of the staff members. Bravo!!!
