The room was spacious and comfortable, with an air purifier and automatic toilet. The bedding was clean and I wanted to stay longer than one night. The quality for this price was amazing. I would like to come back to Kyoto again just to stay here. The neighborhood was quiet and it was enjoyable to watch the changing colors of the Kyoto Tower from the room at night. The staff were very friendly and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you and I hope you continue to prosper. I will come back again~^^

Lovely room, lovely staff”
With big luggage, it's at least a 10-15 min walk from Kyoto station, but otherwise this place was perfect! Staff were so helpful and friendly, room was HUGE by Japanese standards - we had a little kitchen, living area, and the toilet and shower were conveniently separated so different people could use either at the same time. It's in a quiet neighbourhood that's just a walk away from many different food places, and there's a Familymart nearby too. For the price, this level of comfort is unbeatable and we loved staying here as it was the nicest and most spacious place in Japan we stayed at.

Spacious and clean!”
I stayed with a total of 5 people, including elementary, junior high, and high school students, and two parents. I was surprised when I entered the room! It was quite spacious and clean! There was also a refrigerator, washing machine, bath, and kitchen! It feels like an apartment that has been renovated, so it's really spacious! It was the best! And it's reasonable, so there's nothing to complain about! I will use it again next time! One thing to note is that it would be helpful to have a dryer!

Thanks to the staff's quick thinking, we were able to stay at the hotel even though we made a mistake with our reservation. The hotel was very clean and had a modern Japanese atmosphere that I love. The room was perfect and the cleaning was impeccable. I would give it 120 out of 100 points!

移動自粛は解除されたが、コロナによる特殊要因が重なりかなり格安で宿泊することができた。 本格的な夏の蒸し暑さではなかったが、かなり徒歩で移動したため、汗をかく旅程を組んでいた。部屋で洗濯もできて湯船に浸かれ、かなり快適に休むことができた。 Due to COVID-19 situations, there are a few tourists in Kyoto, then I can stay in here quite low price. But hotel quality is not down. They are keeping the hotel quality. Therefore I spend super nice stay in hotel. When I went here, temperate was not so high, but humidity was bit high, then I was sweat. It’s quite helpful for me to wash my clothes in my room and also I can get bathtub, so It makes me relax. I’d like to use this hotel again.

Stay was good. Room sizes were great with enough facilities. A bit of a distance from the station but it's close to a Higashi Hongan-Ji Temple. I would definitely stay here again. Person at the counter was nice and able to converse in English.

The hotel was walkable distance from Kyoto station. The staff and room was nice. It has a laundry machine inside the room! My one biggest issue was that the bath towels were smelly. Like fish smell... very unpleasant to use after a shower/bath. I was hoping it was just the ones in the room, but I asked for new ones and they smelled fishy too. Please check your detergent or washing machines. Other than that everything was great.

Excellent non-full service hotel”
Great location, just opposite Higashi Honganji Temple and a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station (exit at B1 level, closest exit is located northmost of the underground pedestrian walkway). Room is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is basic but good for a couple nights’ stay. Hotel is not full-service, there is no housekeeping service but fresh towels will be provided on request. Staff was very accomodating about holding luggage before check-in and even after check-out. Limited space for hanging jackets and sweaters for a family of 4. Washing machine is provided in the bathroom but unfortunately, it does not have a dryer function. You need to be creative with hanging the damp clothes around the room and bathroom for drying overnight.

Really a good stay for family travel in Kyoto”
It's really a good hotel for family to travel in Kyoto, I'd like to recommend it to all tourists. Just in the alley in front of Higashi Honganji, very close to Kyoto station, so restaurant, store and shopping mall are not far, also very convenient to take subway, JR or bus to all scenic spots of Kyoto. Room is very clean with all necessary equipment for staying. Safety and privacy are also highlights. I'd like stay in this hotel again if I travel to Kyoto in future.

Wonderful stay”
The hotel is located within 10~15 min walk from Kyoto station central exit. But if you travel with infant or young children with luggages, I would suggest to take taxi from Kyoto station to the hotel. The room is equipped with induction cooker, microwave oven, fridge and washing machine without dryer. Thus you’ve to think of your own ways to make the clothes dry after washed. The beds (our favorite in the room) are very comfortable, the toilet and bathtub are clean and new. No housekeeping during our stay but the receptionist lady was very friendly and helpful to throw our rubbish bags when we brought the bags down to dispose. The reception allowed us to exchange the old towels with the new ones. Family mart is nearby and if you wanna buy groceries, there’s Fresco Gojo supermarket within 10 min walk from hotel. WiFi is free but the signal is very weak in the room. We enjoyed the stays in Irori and had a great times in Kyoto.

The place can be quite far from Kyoto station but even though it was far, I’d be really happy to stay at Irori again. Their staff were very kind and hospitable. They allow baggage storage since check in time will still be at 4pm. The room was very clean and organize. Got separate outlet per bed which was really convenient since we had to charge our phones/pocketwifi/camera. I love how they turned on the heater and brought our luggages inside the room before we arrived. The room for 4 person was quite big and spacious. It also has a cooking area and a washing machine. I highly recommend this place!

Loving this accommodation! It is 5 mins walk from Kyoto main Station. Once you familiarize yourself with the routes, walking is a breeze. We booked the Futon sleeping room. We could roll out additional Futons packed away in the cupboard ( we rolled out 1 extra, total 4 pax). Washing machine operates in the room just outside the bathroom. Toilet stands alone. The washing machine is very quiet and the common door to the bathing area just keeps the already quiet machine even quieter. Love the space in the room! Luggage has to be left at public lockers located at Kyoto station as this accommodation is only manned for short duration. My kids (11 and 12yrs old) loved this place. The little table provided is good for us to enjoy our bento meals and there is a small Open concept kitchenette that allows cooking (pan,pot and spatula provided). A 300L or so fridge is handy to keep ice cream from convenient stalls and drinks for a hot day! Just a 2-3min walk from Family Mart.
