One Night Stand”
We just needed one night on arrival and this was a perfect pit stop. The Inna was apparently the first major hotel in Bali so it is tired, a bit rusty (literally in the bathroom) but had everything we needed: a good size room, comfortable bed, bathroom, tea making facilities. The bonus was the beach location, extensive beautiful gardens, pool and serenity. It’s not luxury by any means but it offers tranquility and relaxation. Could have easily stayed longer.

Our second home”
The Bali Beach Garden is our second home in Bali. We stay in a Deluxe room as the bathrooms have be refurbished recently. These rooms on the beach side of the building give us a lovely view of pool area and the ocean. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff members are friendly and helpful. We have stayed there many times in the last thirty five years and feel that we know most of them well. Breakfast is now served in the Tirta Bar area. It is reasonable. If you would like to also be able to eat breakfast in one of the other restaurants in the hotel or cottage area I suggest that you book room only and then buy breakfast each time. The price is about the same. There are so nice beach restaurants along the beach close by, as well some registered money changers, souvenir shops, massage places, and a mini mart. The location is very good all round.

I stayed here with my family (2ad + 1 teenager and 6 yr old) decided to try Sanur this time for 8 nights. The GOOD: the location of this hotel is very good. Only about 100 metres to the beach which is mostly empty, and not many locals at all trying to sell you anything, and walking distance to the many restaurants along the beach walk and the departure point for boats to either Nusa Lembongan or Nusa Penida. The hotel restaurant is set up across the beach so a great view everyday. Pool service was good, but if you want a deck chair get in early as not enough for a huge crowd. The NOT SO GOOD: The breakfast is ok, it had too many Asian options when majority of customers were European or Australian, so more western options would’ve been nice to change it up a bit (we ate breakfast out to get some variety) Not enough information given upon check-in about the hotel facilities and what’s around, we found out later we could use pool from Resort next door. The FACTS: - the hotel is run down - the toilets are in huge need of a good scrub, as yellow stains/mould had set in around taps and toilet seat - the bathroom appeared patched up, the shower curtain needs updating, they need renovating. Staff were great when I asked them to redo the sink as it wasn’t cleaned properly (with a dead spider still in sight from previous night) - we were only provided with one tiny bottle of shampoo and body gel for 4 people, I had to ask for extras every time -There was no safe in my room, it took 3 phone calls for one to be arranged -minibar fridge was empty -The towels were cleaned but all of them had stains on them. -The aircon was so old and noisy, the vents were black with dirt and mould. It was not very cold at all, after walking past other rooms I noticed the same noise so I figured they were all the same. Overall, the cleaning standards need to improve as it is noticeable that the floors (tiles) are only being swept and not mopped during our entire stay. I would only reco

Inna Bali’s location was great. Located on the beach in sanur, in a pretty garden on the beach with a pool area and situated close to other restaurants and shops, it proved a very convenient stop-over before our trip to Nusa Penida. In terms of the rooms and facilities themselves, the bathroom was VERY tired looking and needed some serious maintenance. The pool area had a lot of noisy kids and families in large groups and the beach bar was VERY expensive. Think 300k for two drinks. The room itself was clean-ish but again, had very old and broken furniture. The decor was dated. The aircon didn’t work very well - also very old equipment, I assume. Wouldn’t want to stay here again as it was okay but definitely not for the price you pay where you expect better and properly maintained facilities.
