My stay at the Best Western was restful and relaxing. The kind of stay I would recommend to anyone.
Hotel was in a great location and was very reasonably priced. It's like a motel. Room was fairly clean, bed was decent. Breakfast was more than I expected given the price and type of hotel. We were only there for sleeping in-between travels, and it got the job done.
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and had friendly staff. Every time I passed a cleaning person they asked how we were and if we needed anything. For just under $200 for the weekend and located next door to the Doxoe Stampede and just over a mile from the Island, you can't beat it for an affordable getaway.
Booked due to the price for a double king bed room since we were traveling with 2 teenagers...my husband and I on one side and the teens on the other divided by the bathroom area. Water Slides are on par with big scale water parks. It has a tube and a body slide. Pool has a walk in end, like the ocean. Which is great for laying out but still in the water. Only thing I didn't like was the attitude of one of the staff at the breakfast launch. She was rude to an elder, when she was no where to be found and she try to get the coffee, that was brewed already, to work, and she told her that people keep messing with it. Everybody was waiting for the coffee and she was not there. RUDE!
Clean but older hotel absolutely great staff and an absolutely great stay while we visited our daughter only con in my opinion was the breakfast area was to small for the amount of visitors they had while we were there
Breakfast is amazing. Hot, fresh. Good coffee. Bed was adequate, not above average. Cable TV was spotty, interference on some channels. WIFI below average. Pool area clean, with hot hot tub. Location perfect.
Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Winery is right next to the hotel.

Really nice room, very quite, and located away from the road. The only problem we had was with house keeping. We went for my husbands 60th birthday, on the very next day all the water was shut off from 11:00 am -4:00 pm. The room was very clean and very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were only there one night and wanted to go out for a pancake breakfast, but the breakfast at the hotel looked very good.

A great place to stay . Extremely clean . Breakfast was excellent . Scrambled eggs , sausage links , waffles , apples hot and cold,cereal bread sweet rolls and more every day . Easy early check in around 1pm. Possible extra day extension and hotel staff was helpful. Rooms were up to date. Clean beds. Microwave, fridge.
