Has common swimming pools with the Village Hotel next door (same management). Breakfast was included in the price. Recommend for couples. For family with chidren, the Village Hotel would be a better choice."

"Our stay in Hotel Michaels was a superb! Concierge was very helpful and efficient. Our room was very spacious. Our family of 7, composed of 2 senior citizen, 2 adult and 3 children. We stayed at a 2-bedroom suite most popularly known as the Merlion Suite, as it has a great view of the famous Merlion in Sentosa. Hotel was strategically located near Universal Studios, SEA Aquarium and few more walks to Adventure Cove. Two thumbs up for the hotel housekeeping too, My mom accidentally dropped her earrings and could not find it immediately. We need to leave the hotel and decided to look for it when we come back. After a day in Universal Studios, she is set to find her missing earrings and as she enters her room she found it on the table, more likely the housekeeping placed it there so she can see it when she returns. My mom was so glad for the honest gesture of the hotel staff. This place is highly recommendable!!!"

"Surrounded by nature, Amara Sanctuary really takes me away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The friendly staff made it really comfortable and pampered to stay there. Located near Palawan beach, the room oversee the South China Sea. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the room was spacious. Room service was efficient and delicious. The cafe Shutter serves delightful spread for breakfast too. However, the connectivity of the digital TV was less than ideal and as with every hotels, the switches of the lights were really confusing. I could hear the subtle noise from the rollercoasters and music from Universal Studio when I am on the premise. The infinity pool on the sky deck is not big but has a magnificent view. However, the roof of the deck is not well maintained and space of the poolside was not well utilised. The spa was very average, especially for the price. Neither the ambiance or service differentiates the spa from regular salons. Even the receptionist could to hold a conversation efficiently in English. The only incentive was the refreshing dessert served after my treatment. All in all, a very delightful stay and I'll return to this resort. "

"My one night stay is fantastic on 9th Feb 2013. Our check in was quite quick at that day. However, thhe room is quite a hike from the reception. I like the aroma smell at the lobby and lift lobby.. The deluxe room is very spacious and there is a lounge sofa in the room. Balcony (we were on the 5th floor) view was of Adventure Cove Waterpark, harbour, cable cars and as well as Vivocity, great view to wake up to in the morning. But there's only one chair at the balcony. The toilet has two basins and a glass panel which can be covered at the flick of a switch and separate cubicles for shower (rain shower provided) and toilet. However there's no hose pipe at the toilet! Bath tub can fit one person comfortable and it comes with a headrest as well. There is a flat screen TV in the room (but there's no Malaysia channel, for example TV1) and one in the bathroom but no movie channels. Yes it is a bit off the track from all the action at universal studio and the rest, but its no big deal as there is a regular shuttle going to all the other hotels and with a connection to Universal Studios etc. We didnt really try the food at the hotel except for the buffet breakfast which was so-so. The Needs Improvement (in order of major to minor gripes) The hotel really has nothing in terms of amenities save for a pool, and even that seems like it was reluctantly included. The pool itself is lovely but seems to have been built for the pool villa guests only and hotel guests are not really welcome there. I say this because there are no signs showing you where it is, There are also no attendants only a pile of towels left in a gazebo (not really 5 star stuff issit?). Worse still there is no path to the pool, guests have to walk on grass to get to the actual pool. There are only 2 gazebo at the pool side. One with seats and the other, no seat.. only a pile of towel left at the desk. It's rain heavily and I pity the kids as we are standing at the gazebo with no seats."

"We stayed there for 3 nights in March 2012. When the taxi approach Resorts World we were already excited by seeing the Resorts World sign and Universal Studios. The ground are beautiful as well as the main lobby. Staff are very friendly and check-in was simple and quick. We booked a standard room queen with a sofa bed but when the staff member noticed we had two young children (4 and 8mo) he upgraded us to the family room immediately which was great. This room contained the loft bed which is great for older kids, but since my daughter was nearly 4yrs it was too high and I had to sleep with her up there. It's more a king-single size. The Festive Pool is nice, very basic. However as a Resort World guest you are also entitled to use the Hard Rock Hotel pool which is a lot bigger and nicer. The location is central to the Festive Walk shops, restaurants and fountains. Universal Studios is also a hop and skip away. I would definitely come back to Festive Hotel and Resort World. It's just too bad that Singapore is too hot and extremely humid for my liking."

"This post is made Upon reaching, the door uncle at the carpark greets knows you by name because he has a list of the people checking in for the day. At the reception, we were offered welcome drink of infused soda water grapefruit tea (their specialty concoction) and cold towel to freshen up (which reminded me of cold towels on Singapore Airlines). We were brought to our room and had a tour of it by the check in staff. In room facilities are impeccable. You have toilet seats that reminds you of Japan (because only in Japan have those kind or smart, warming, bidet washing kinda toilet), a standalone bathtub which is slightly bigger than average. Bronze-y finishings for the toilet gave that collonial rustic look, smart TV that allows you to check out from the TV (and you can bring the key card home as souvenir) and fully complete with iron, full use of the things in the fridge except for alcoholic drinks of course and Nescafe capsule pods (which unfortunately we are not coffee drinkers). We were surprised by the complimentary cocktail sessions and evening canapé. Shout out to Mervin, one more check in staff I forgot his name but starts with J and he has injected zest and uplift the spirits upon our check in, Tomo, Suram and Trisya for looking after us throughout our 2 days stay. In fact, the staff at Living Room too who were attentive to our needs."
