"wow" is the word came from the moment i saw this place. Hidden in the narrow alley, this hotel offer you a luxury stay and great facilities. I booked the suite room and then had updraded to the cottage. It was an impressive 2-floors-cottage. They had a spacious living room and kitchen at first floor and two great bed rooms at the second floor. Each bed room had a modern bathroom with big bathtub and high-tech toilet. Breakfast was superb with local and internationals varieties. Hotel has different entertainments for each night such as movie night and etc. They also had two pools, pub and spa. I tried the spa and they are perfect for a tired body after a long day exploring Bali. The hotel's staff is very helpfull, you can ask them for airport transfer or taxi, if you need it. Beach and the famous Seminyak street is only walk-distance from the hotel. You should also try the Wendy's gelato, they only 5 minutes walk-distance from the hotel. Overall, this is one of my best stay experience in Bali and I really recommended it for everyone who are looking for a relaxing and luxury hotel in the strategic location.

we stayed for 4 nights, taken 2 Deluxe rooms for 4 adults and 2 children. At the time of checkin, auto upgraded to Balcony rooms, great. Very clean and neat rooms. Called the hotel a day before and asked for neighbouring rooms and they did their best and gave 2 rooms very close. Friendly staff, responded to our requests. Booked hotel with breakfast, is an excellent choice. Nice variety of breakfast and tasty food as well; omelet counter was the best of all! Great location, walkable to nearby shops and a Minimart is very next to the hotel. Pleasant stay and would love to come back again. Cons: 1) Bathroom wall on the room side is glass with semi covered, not good for privacy. could have put a screen. 2) A dressing mirror outside bathroom could have been better

This hotel is located only 20 min walk away from the doube six beach which is free entry and one of the best place to watch sunset. The hotel provide free shuttle upon request as well. The hotel is very well designed. The moment I stepped in to this hotel lobby, I was amazed by the super high ceiling and open concept. There are many sofas of different styles in the lobby, Hotel staff will offer cool towel upon arrival. The corridor is long and of a dinstinct feature. They used red bricks to make the door frames and wall decorations. The room is so spacious and come with a balcony. Once the balcony door is open, the air con will be switched off automatically. There is a shower and bathtub in the room (Tshell, which is the basic type of the rooms in this hotel). The highlight of the room is minibar is completely free and will replenish everyday! This is the first hotel offering free minibar I have ever come across. All hotel facilities are located on 3rd level. There is a gym facing 50 m infinity rooftop pooll, a big dinning area linked to leisure lounge and a modern designed library with many books and magazines on Bali. All facilities are free entry and open 24 HOURS! The only thing you may need to pay for is the drinks you order from the pool bar and spa services which is available somewhere near the pool. Their service is wonderful! All staff will greet you with a big smile. They try their very best to accomodate all your needs. There are plenty resturants and cafes attached to the hotel. They are all located on the ground floor. The only thing I have to mention about this hotel is the corridor is not air conditioned. So all the staff are not working in air con environment. I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of them for their hard work!

I have been looking forward to my first child free trip in eight years. This was the pick for three friends and I to meet and relax. Easy to find (if you ignore Google Maps and don't listen to Siri). Very welcoming staff and the rooms were huge. Two king single beds with clean linen, just warm enough for the aircon rooms. Breakfast was included every morning and while not the best food you can get, it was plentiful, fresh, cooked well and certainly did the job and we never went without. Staff were also happy to cater when we brought our own bubbly for breakfast (don't judge - it was my birthday and a champagne breakfast was in order!) The location - that is the main factor of this hotel. Right next to the beach and also right where the beanbag bars are, it made getting to sunset beach drinks a breeze. The pool is big and warm, with varying levels so swim and lay in, along with a swim up bar. We never had too much trouble getting sun beds and while half our group moved to follow the sun, a huge tree between the pool and the beach gave sensational shade, as did the pool side umbrellas. It is definitely a 3 star hotel in the grand scheme of hotels but it is a top notch 3 stars and a fantastic, big, quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing and using as a base to get around Seminyak and other areas. Snacks are available all day - the mixed satay was delicious. The hotel also left me a complementary birthday cake in my room, which was both very thoughtful AND delicious!! All in all, I will definitely be returning.

They have a unique 24-hour room policy - if you check in at 5pm, your checkout time is 5pm (instead of the usual 12pm). My excellent host Anna served me during my check-in at 1pm, and she offered me a late check out at 3pm as my return flight was at 5.30pm. This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Seminyak's food street (as other travellers have mentioned). Flanked by at least 10 different restaurants/cafes/bars on either side of the road, offering both international and local cuisine. There's convenience stores nearby too, great to grab a cheap snack or soda from. The beach (next to Ku De Ta bar) is a 10-minute walk away. Taxis are abundant (Blue Bird - they won't rip you off) Good buffet breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised when they served pork ribs on several occasions. A dedicated omelette chef cooks your eggs to your liking. Pastry bar with waffles & pancakes, cereal counter and an assortment of cooked food. They offer breakfast in bed too, if you prefer. Lovely rooftop pool, plenty of deck chairs with great jazz music that creates an inviting ambiance. There's a rooftop bar too, but I didn't patronize it so can't comment. Huge room - which is what you'd expect of a suite. Comfortable bed and pillows. The only item lacking is a bath tub. Contrary to other reviews, the noise from the A/C didn't bother me much. Room service is reasonably priced (comparable to restaurants outside). Takes a while to arrive though, but I was delighted with the service. I stayed here for a week, and I'll definitely be back again. My room was on the 3rd floor (request for odd-numbered room facing the west, if you'd like a sunset view). Rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter.

W BALI more i say less it is.. what a property! I enjoyed my stay here to the best, classic service. We requested VEG food for breakfast, Mr Nick there in-charge for food made us south indian food, So for all my veg friends if at all you want veg food meet him and request for it. There is a sales representative working called Ricca do meet her for any issues and she will get on to it in no time, she was a great support in all our arrangements. Over all it was a great stay.. Booked ocean Facing Room and got 3rd floor requested for 4th floor as from 3rd view is not that great block al by the trees. So 4th floor is preferable.

Concept rooms and corridors from the moment you step into the hotel till you leave. Spacious and clean rooms and bathtub. Hotel staff never fails to greet you and they can help with booking restaurants and tours. Best "THE SHACK" to hangout at the rooftop with awesome music, great sunset views and good sun for tanning. Close walking distance to the beach, some cheap local food nearby and lotsa cafes and restaurants. Anything from the menu breakfast made to order and they get served in 5 minutes!!! Wifi is good too. Try it!

It was the best experience I've ever had. Staff are very friendly. We had a little accident there, my friend accidentally hurt herself and needed a dr, we really want to thank all the staff for being so helpful. View from the moonlight kitchen and bar is fabulous. Room is very nice too. Located right next to the beautiful beach, horseriding on beach was a very good idea, if you're interested, can book thru the concierge. Spa is very good too. Best service ever, highly recommended. I'd definitely go to the same hotel next time:)

Good location, right opposite the beach. Upon check-in we were given the standard room although we booked the deluxe room (which i recommend, the standard rooms are quite small with view of the parking area) i had mentioned to them that this wasn't the room i booked, they then said the room we booked wasn't ready yet so we had to wait a few hours which was fine, we paid extra for the view of the beach although you couldn't really see much but trees because the hotel was fully booked. The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING i would reccomend staying here mostly for the breakfast ha! Its all a la carte menu and all you can eat, the food is well prepared with international choices from Indonesian, american, french, english and italian breakfast. The staff were extremely lovely and sweet also. I would come back here again, one of the best hotels in simenyak area that dont put a whole in your pocket :)

I stayed in one of the Swirl Room of this hotel for 3 nights with my mother, and we absolutely loved it. Such a big room for such a good price! (Thanks Agoda). The breakfast buffet is amazing: so varied and delicious, and with the prime views of the rooftop restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant in 2 of our nights and we absolutely loved everything we ordered. Each plate was delicious, fresh and used the best ingredients. I absolutely recommend the fresh tuna salad - the best I have ever had at such a good price! (Prices were actually really good for a hotel restaurant in a rooftop, very cheap relative to Australian prices, obviously expensive compared to street/warung food in Seminyak). In fact, you can totally get a main dish for the same price as a cocktail :)

Read some pretty negative feedbacks here on TripAdvisor on FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach. And to be honest, I was a tad hesitant at first to finalise my booking for my accommodation as I was travelling alone, but I booked furamaxclusive anyways.. and let me tell you, I have zero regrets doing so. I booked the one bedroom suite with furama in Bali and I had an excellent stay! Yes, there were some issues with the air conditioning towards the end of my stay, but the hotel bunked me up to a two bedroom suite so I won’t get stuffed up inside a warm room without any AC. The hotel tried to rectify the issue however due to rainy season and it was pouring outside, engineering couldn’t fix the AC in my room. Thank you front office manager Sumitra for assisting on this and ensuring I had a good sleep. Thank you engineering as well for your effort! On my last day in Bali, unfortunately I fell really sick and I had to make a call to front office in hopes to extend my check out time. Dayu a front office manager assisted so very kindly and extending my check out timing. I was literally throwing up all morning. Dayu didn’t just extend my check out time, she was so sweet to ensure that I reach the airport on time to catch my time, knowing that I was running late. She also helped to assist with my luggage and also checked on me to make sure I wasn’t stuck in the airport alone and that I managed to catch the plane and landed safely in Singapore. Thank you so much Dayu, I truly appreciate your assistance and concern. Do keep in. Touch as I will be back to Bali! Overall, some may say that furama may seem a bit dated with regards to exterior/interior of the hotel. But furama is situated right in front of the beach, stretch of bars/restaurants just minutes walk you will be spoilt by choice, mini marts is only one minute walk away, and best of all, the hotel staffs are the most genuine people there! Great service and great hospitality! Even the restaurant staffs are awesome folks! I

Overall is quite a pleasant stay. Not recommend because We are group of 15 people, booked a 4 rooms villa and 3 room villa. Both villa claimed that they have open shower in all rooms. Yes, that's true for 3 rooms villa but for the 4 rooms villa, only 2 have open shower and bathtub, the other two rooms only have a pathetic small opening in their bathroom and THEY DON'T HAVE A BATHTUB! This is the only thing that pissed us off because who will want to take the rooms without bathtub when they pay such a considerable amount for the villa??? Also, their glasses are super fragile, make by super thin glasses, you can't even cheers with your friends as we broke few, good thing is they never charge us. Also, if you are not going to spend much time in the villa, please don't stay here, it's a waste of money as you have you own swimming pool and jacuzzi (only master room have). Recommend because Very friendly and helpful staff, they tried their best to furfill our requests. Greatbreakfast, delicous and good variety.

I Stayed in encore for 3 nights out of my 12 days bali trip. Mine was Pool access room (which is the only room type, I shall recommend) with the direct access to pool. Swimming pool is the charm of the hotel & is well maintained. Hotel staff is extremely courteous & ready to help any time. Pool side restaurant has great ambience. Cons are - Inside room, instead of 1 queen size bed, beds were joind together causing bit trouble but i didnt mind sleeping on 1 side together. Drainage for room was slow but still tolerable. As suggestion please include some indian cuisine in breakfast as lot of indian guest check in this hotel. They also need to work with vendors to provide goos scooters. Do not use lobby taxi, It is expensive than anyother metered bluebird taxi, also uber and grab is not allowed to pick up from hotel due to monopoly for locals. I recommend this hotel to all & will definatly repeat here. Thank you encore

When we arrived at the Harris, we were greeted by "Nico" who made our check in a breeze. He was very freindly and gave us a fantastic first impression of the hotel. We booked a unique room which was brilliant - balcony, large comfy bed, great flat screen TV with heaps of channels, lots of space and great bathroom. The wifi at the hotel is fab, you only have to log in once a day. There are 5 swimming pools at this hotel, the flying pool is a little piece of heaven. The hotel is spotless, very clean. No matter what time of the day we left our room, within an hour of returing the room had be cleaned, fresh towels and complimentary water everyday. The location was great for us, 10 minute stroll to double six beach and all the bars. We took the complimentary buggy ride to the beach where the hotel has private sun beds for guests to use in the best location, they also provide free beach towels too. A ten minute walk in the other direction will take you to the Main Street in Seminyak. The buffet breakfasts in the hotel where a triumph, so much choice and the staff, every morning so friendly. The pizza restaurant was joy!! Awesome Italian style pizza, beautiful fresh salads, nice wine and great service. On the street where the hotel is located there are also a number of bars and restaurants, an awesome bakery and coffee shop, as well as spa's and a mini mart and circle k right on the doorstep - so convenient. We extended our stay for a further couple of nights, and stayed a week in total and we still don't want to leave. I have to commend the management for hiring such great people, the staff here are all so wonderful, always a smile and a hello and eager to help with anything you need. Having stayed in many hotels in Bali, the Harris is the highlight for us, and we can't wait to come back. Our friend is getting married and we have recommend the Harris to all our friends also coming to bali for the wedding. Thank you for such a wonderful stay 😃

First impression of the hotel, the check in process and how you are greeted and treated while you make your way to your room is what makes a great experience and a great start to a holiday. Indigo met all my needs. We spent 5 nights at the hotel. I was responsible for booking the hotel and I was absolutely 100% happy with my choice. The minute we entered the hotel, my partner sighed and said, this is amazing! The staff sit you down and complete the check in process and the stay moving forward was smooth! I cannot complain about anything. I loved it! FYI hotel is right next to double six and the beach is opposite the hotel. BEST LOCATION. You have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the market. Book this hotel.

Heaven in Seminyak. Stunning hotel. Brilliant staff. Tami the boss lady amazing. We stuffed our booking up and she changed it to the week we arrived with no dramas. Beautiful breakfast. Stunning decor. No kids. Beautiful pool. Sooooo quiet (Hotel Mexicola is 80m away and can be noisy at night, enjoyed swimming in pool listening to the music but take earplugs just in case...). Pool you can swim in all night. Sea Circus next door THE BEST. Found our new home in Bali... did I mention it was AMAZING???

We encounter a Cheating incident when we change USD$1000 for IDR13.9 Juta. We counted couple of times each but on arrival back to hotel, we discovered shortchange of IDR 3 Juta. We called Front Desk. Gong Ayu for assistance in reporting to the Police. She advised us to speak to Hotel Security for best action to be taken. Security informed us will sent Hotel Staff, Dharmaputra to accompany us back to Money Changer to get back the IDR 3 Juta that we were shortchanged. Long story short, Dharmaputra was excellent and acted beyond his service requirements. He convinced the Money Changer to give us back the full IDR 3 Juta. We were very happy with the Hotel Staff for being friendly, courteous plus acted beyond the service to help us recover the money. A stranger in a Foreign Country and these Balinese shown us the Better side of their island minus the small incident of cheating. Travellers have to beware but always can count on the Hotel especially Jambuluwuk to extend a big helping hand.

We spent 10 great days in this new hotel (open 07/12). Very quiet, witch is exceptionnal in this area. Near from everything. All the service you need is there. Lots of good restaurant around, beach at 100 metre, even the cleaning 10 metre from hotel (a 1/3 of hotel price). Lots of massage available around. Take taxi with metter, very cheap this way, it change life. Staff is very helpfull. Thay can organise whatever you need with efficiency & smile. Wifi is not good but they have two computers free of use. Breakfast average but dinner not good and very expensive for what it is. 30 minutes from Airport, near Seminyak.Go for a massage every day,Inner Glow near near Matahari shopping center, best we have been. Not a 5 star hotel but we recommend highly this hotel, excent value for a reasonable price. 30 minutes from Airport, near Seminyak.

If you book this hotel I reccommend getting the junior suite with pool access. You will face the sunset and have a patio with chairs to sit and relax. The free breakfast at the Spicery was fantasctic and the staff was extremely nice and grateful. You get basic buffet and a great menu with indonesian food and some american style breakfast. The beers at the bar were 27,000 ($2 USD). The only cleanliness issues were the curtains were dirty with dead bugs and walls were dirty. Stafff cleaned every day. I never really saw the pool bar open but i think you can call and request it. Laundry service was good and done overnight. To be honest, after my 3 weeks stay in Bali, i saw very few places I would like to stay. Most other places are 3 times the price. If you dont book a 5 star beach resort for a lot more money, stay here. Great place to be

This hotel is quite small, making it more personal and quiet, giving you a sense of privacy. The staff are all very courteous. The rooms are simple and basic but CLEAN, which is the most important thing for me. We have an extra bed and we were able to move around with no problem. Our free breakfast is pretty decent, I enjoyed eating my breakfast by the pool. Room tips: I followed the suggestions I read here at tripadvisor to get a deluxe room with a view of the pool, it has a balcony too. And its indeed quiet enough for us to get a good night's sleep. The price is very reasonable, I think I got my money's worth. If you can afford the more luxurious hotels, then by all means do. But for us people who have budgets to consider, Sense Hotel is a very good choice. Oh and I forgot to mention the great location, it's walking distance to many restaurants, unfortunately we were only able to try Sea Circus as we are always away from morning to night exploring Bali. Seminyak is near Kuta where it can be noisy and rowdy specially at night, but here it is quiet enough without being too far from where the action is. Love it! The only downside is the toilet, though it is not "unclean", I am not that comfortable with it and also to the management, maybe the towels needs to be changed, they seem to have seen better days. Towels are not that expensive, I think its time to invest on new ones. But other than that everything is satisfactory, so I'm giving it a 5 star rating. For those who are criticizing about this hotel, don't expect to get a 5 star hotel with a 3 star price. Of course we get what we pay for. We have to be realistic and practical. And its how you look at the glass of water, whether its half empty or half full.

My husband and I stayed at Horison Seminyak for 3 days. I originally books for the first 2 nights only in our 5 days stay in Bali. This is our first time in Bali and we want some flexibility in accommodation (in case the hotel was not nice) - we ended up staying for an additional night since the location good especially for food options. It was also a walking distance to the beach (although I am expecting more of a beach front hotel) - I did not use the beach in Seminyak and that's one of the reason we moved to Nusa Dua in the last days of our trip - - - to just enjoy the quiet, nice beach life. Back to the hotel - it was fairly new I think the room are still very nicely kept and the front/entrance facilities. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would prefer that they put a little divider of some sort (i.e. bamboos or higher plants) between the dining area and the pool area for some privacy of the swimmers :). Breakfast is good too with good selection of continental and Asian cuisine. Generally the hotel offers really good value for money and if we decide to go back to Seminyak area I would consider this hotel again.

Great value for money and a great location for all the best restaurants and shopping. Close to all the best day clubs and a few super funky places to go to at night (La Favela). The breakfast was average but does the job well, last day we had banana french toast and it was delicious, eggs were also good and available everyday. They made our bed twice a day and the room was comfortable and clean. The rooftop pool was peaceful and had quite a nice outlook and a nice bar area. I would definitely stay here again and reccommend to friends who are looking for a cheap but good hotel right in the middle of everything. Overall a great experience.

The purpose of our holiday was to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday, upon arrival the staff greeted us and wished her Happy Birthday as I had emailed previously. While we were waiting for our room they came out with a cake and sung happy birthday. It's little touches like that that you don't get from the bigger hotels that make it so appealing! On the first night we had an issue with the air con, the next day they moved us to another villa without hesitation! Staff were great, food was cheap and the pool was inviting! Beds could have been softer but I have discovered that in Bali if you want a comfy bed you are paying a lot more a night than this. We booked 2 downstairs Villas and they were very reasonably priced. I think my daughters Villa 116 was the best out of both if ours and right across from the pool and restaurant. All in all if you are looking for a reasonably priced, traditional Balinese style hotel with great staff and food this is it! Would I stay there again, yes I would.

I had a wonderful stay at the Zia hotel after I decided to extend my Bali trip by 3 nights and my previous hotel was booked out. (Was previously at the Swiss-Belhotel on the same street). The location wonderful with top notch restaurants in walking distance (barbacoa, sardine, Metis). The staff at Zia are far superior. They are always happy and smiling and their English is great which made organising a late checkout easy and seamless. The rooms were cleaned to a high standards and have all mod cons with the BEST showers. The only small negative was the size of the room and lack of balcony. However for solo travellers like myself the joy room was perfect and functional, for couples perhaps book the next grade room for some room to move.

Room rates are affordable and I can say that Neo is better than its sister Fave Hotel (also by Aston). Location is okay. Unlike other beach destinations in the Southeast, Bali is huge and you get to places via motorbike/taxi. You can go by foot but it's too tiring if traveling with infant/kids. For families, Neo's location, Seminyak is a great place to stay because it's more quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our bidet was leaking but they fixed it right away after we called housekeeping. Price wise, NEO is a budget hotel but the facilities could match a three star one. I love that it has a mini coffee/tea bar, fridge and a swimming pool (things that other budget hotels don't have). Needs Improvement: There was a cigarette butt at the kiddie pool. Please put signs that smoking is not allowed, at least at the kiddie pool area. There was mosquito in our room. Not sure how it got there since the windows were closed. Please improve food selection/menu at the buffet. I'll definitely recommend NEO to my friends.

Honestly i didn't expect that i'll going to like this hotel it was in the side of the big road in seminyak far from the beach but it's all worth it the price is so cheap for the hotel with swimming pool very comfortable and very clean. Dont stay here if your looking near the beach it's kinda far but walkable to seminyak beach the staff always greet you with smile. I'm so happy that they have access at the back of the hotel. It's quiet and not crowded hotel good for family. over all super worth the stay. I love everything in very cheap price booked this hotel in last minute! Perfect choice

We had a 14 day holiday in Bali. The last 7 days of our holidays were at the Four Points by Sheraton in Seminyak. We had the best time! From the moment we got there we were welcomed by Puspa who took great care of us. As a family with a 2 and 3 year old we found ourselves spending a lot of time at the hotel and we could not fault the service. From breakfast time to the end of the day we felt special and were treated with such kindness that it is hard to find when you go to a big hotel chain. Our first half of the holiday was at a 5 star resort in Nusa Dua and even though the service was good it wasn’t as personalized and special as it was at Four Points. We were initially staying in Seminyak for four nights but we were so happy there, we decided to extend our stay two more nights. For instance, Our air conditioning wasn’t working well for a couple of days and the staff did everything possible to fix it and follow up until they made it work. Every single member of the team always had a smile and knew our names and of our children. We don’t remember everyone’s names but a the ones that stood out were Puspa, Gema, Río, Desta, Andi, Putuan and Agus. The location was great, having the buggy to drive us to the main road or near the beach was handy, also the shuttle to the main spots in Seminyak was a good addition. The pool was beautiful, and the temperature was perfect, again we compare with our stay in the previous resort where the pool was almost as hot as the outside, at Four Points Seminyak, it was refreshing and had the perfect setting for kids to play, for adult to sunbathe, do laps and swim. The rooftop restaurant was great, with ocean views and city views couldn’t fault it, delicious cocktails, and beautiful sunset the perfect combination. We already miss being in Bali! Such a wonderful way to end our holiday.

It is positioned in a great location. That is its biggest plus. The room is poorly designed and basic. Having now stayed in 3 star, 4 star and 5 star in Bali there is not so much difference in the star rating and more for who runs and maintains the hotel in relation to what type of guests. Sea air, humidity, poor build materials and quality all come back to haunt the cheaper price owner/ operator. Example is the plug positioning for guests to charge their phones etc... each evening is in a place that requires you to get on all fours and peer up behind a unit to use the plug. The lock on the sliding door was broken and a temporary measure was a drilled hole with a stick in it. Other facilities such as the pool and restaurant were okay. Having stayed in 5 star (not that much more than this 4 star) the difference was felt. Again the staff and their helpful attitude was excellent and I am grateful for this. Will stay elsewhere when I return next month though.
