Find hotels in Pool Bar at Hotel Tentrem

We stayed for one night at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta. It is near enough to Malioboro and the central shopping and tourist area (a pedicab cost 20,000Rp one way to Malioboro or back). The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. The buffet breakfast is the perfect example of what Indonesian and South-east Asian hotels should do (but mostly don't): Fresh good food in moderate quantities but always renewed, attentive staff. There are 10 different stations including local and international foods as well as a coffee and juice station where guests can have cappuccinos or freshly pressed juices. Not the most outstanding food I have had for breakfast in a SEA hotel, but the overall best quality service.

We arrived at 2pm and my room was not ready. But they offered us another big room with two big beds in the meanwhile. The hotel seems a bit old fashioned, but everything is clean and nice. Especially for this price, it is excellent. Such is the service. WiFi signal is strong (except in pool area) and fast - just a bit annoying to re-login frequently. The choice and quality of breakfast is amazing. There are two pools and two kids pools. There is a direct indoor connection to the adjactient mall. Looking forward to stay there again.

this hotel kind like a new hotel in town. the location is not in the center of the town but also not so far to go to the town. the design is good and clean inside the room. the staff performance also very good and polite. i love the room with the garage just under the room so that you feel like coming home. you dont need to think about parking area when you booked this kind of room. the swimming pool size is not so big but enough.

Tara hotel got all the basic right. They have fast wifi, cable tv with English Premier League, well equipped gym, great location, friendly and helpful staff. The only minor issues were they didn't have baby cot, maybe in the future they will buy. And the other minor issue was there were workers still finishing the outside of yhe property. But overall definitely would come back for the price

well, we've arrived around 5 PM, the hotel name a little bit too high at the top, so when we passed the street I cannot found the hotel, I called the hotel and finally we found, the parking place is good, the staff is good, we enter the hotel to make a reservations, and finally we enter the room. the room is a standard for 18m2, pretty small enough but ok if you only a couple, me and my family is 2 adults with 2 children still enough. this hotel doesn't have a trolly to bring our baggage, but the staff is helpful, and thanks they have an elevator. at night we going around the city for dinner and seeing some attraction places, we comeback around 10.30 PM. from night to morning the hot water is not hot anymore, before when we arrived the hot water still hot, but later after we comeback from dinner until morning the hot water is cold. i don't know why, i think they have to improve this. we get a very 2 stars hotel breakfast at 9.30AM, then we start to package our baggage to leave this city. so for everything this hotel is averages, they need to improve about hot water and baggage trolly. thanks

When I came the doorman quickly grab my suitcase for me. The reception are very welcoming and polite. The room is spacious compare to the other hotel with the same price in Yogyakarta. The room is clean, amenities are there and quite good compare to the price once again. The water flow in the shower tough is a bit weird it gets cold suddenly then warm again then suddenly cold again. But its a minor issue for me I don't really care. Its located in jalan magelang so its far from the airport and actually everywhere else but if you have your own vehicle its best cuz the road wasnt that busy here. And theres indomaret (indonesian 7eleven) nearby. Big shopping mall Jogja City Mall is walking distance and there some food around so its great. The lobby were great and yes there's no swimming pool but hell i won't swim under Jogja's sun so yeah, thats not a problem for me
