"I was extremely happy with my week long stay. The staff is friendly the room was modern, fresh, and full of amenities. There was a washing machine and pajamas! Nice coffee machine in the lobby. We did not have a car ao this was convienent for buses and ferries and all the restaurants and shopping in town. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay. Also the rooms are well constructed out of concrete I would hear a baby crying in the hallway all the time but in my room nothing but peace. "

"Recent apartment to hotel conversion. Rooms are almost new (as of writing), very clean and spacious. Located in a quiet, mostly residential area, but there are a few food options in the vicinity and many options within ~10 minute walk. Nice small bakery just across the street from the entrance. Affordable 24-hour coin laundry just up the street (there are wash + spin dry machines on the 1st floor of the hotel, but they don't actually dry your clothes). Walkable distance to ferry terminal to other islands, assuming you don't have too much luggage. One thing to note, as of writing, check-in was done from separate nearby Mr. Kinjo hotel. Check-in went well and staff was polite, just good to know about the location in advance."

"Great location, easy access (5min walk max) to airport bus, 2-10 minutes walk to get to many restaurants, local market, shops, etc. Staff was friendly, check-in easy. Facilities were okay! Understand that with the Ishigaki humidity, some aspects are bound to be expected. Given these circumstances, room was clean and adequate. Very hard bed - if you're not used to it, might not have the best rest, but it was okay. Balcony and the view were great to have. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were great and much better quality compared to "higher end" hotels I've stayed in across Asia for work. Next time I'm back for work I would stay again just to have the balcony view, close access to everything and the nice toiletries! If you're the type of person that wants to spend most of your vacation in the hotel, look elsewhere, but if you want a place that is ideal for you accessing everything else Ishigaki has to offer, this is great."

"Great location, just next to the main street of souvenir shops, restaurants and family mart. A very new and clean hotel which was just opened on 18 Apr 2019. The room is actually for 3 ppl with 3 beds but as my booking is for 2 ppl, they have removed the third bed so the room is relatively spacious in Japan. There is a balcony of the room too. The breakfast looks good but our booking didnt include that so we didnt try it. The only drawback is, the room is a bit noisy. You can hear the noise from the corridor and the shower of the next room. The windows are very sound-proof though. "

"Negatives : I had quite poor sleep while I was here since although the bedding is good quality, the house is totally open inside so if anyone is noisy in the kitchen early in the morning you will hear it clearly in your room. The internet speeds are some of the worst in Ishigaki, I had very bad experiences having video calls, this place is not suitable for remote work for that reason. 90% of people did not wear masks inside, it was not enforced at all, I felt very worried while I stayed there. Although hygiene was quite good, no one emptied the lint catcher of the washing machine before me so it was super disgusting and moldy, and it costs 300 yen to wash your clothes even so! Many staff never smiled and were quite unfriendly. Long term residents kept to themselves in their pre-established groups, so it was not a typical hostel atmosphere where you get to know new people as I had expected. Positives : Great bathroom. Super Famicom in the living room. Sofas are really nice. Comfy bed"

"Very good location at the center of downtown Ishigaki: 30 min from the airport by car, 10 min walk to the ferry terminal, walking distance to restaurants. Major sightseeing spots are also short drive away. Very friendly and flexible staff. When a typhoon hit the island and stores and restaurants closed, they offered complementary dinner to all the guests. They were also super flexible with other requests when I got stuck in the hotel due to the weather."
