"We chose Atana Musandam to celebrates our first anniversary. We wanted a place where we can relax and enjoy beautiful sceneries, and we found out that we made the right choice. Our stay was 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday) on the beginning of November, the weather was perfect, refreshing breeze with clear skies. The resort was quite with small number of guests. The location was also a plus point as it was outside the city but close to Khasab castle and different tour facilities. Good interiors of traditional omani architecture in a modern style, amazing mountain and sea views from room balcony, and yummy food at the resort’s restaurant. We loved our stay and would recommend it to family and friends."

"If you're used to the 5 star bling of Middle Eastern hotels and place importance on where you stay when on holiday then this hotel is NOT for you. The Khasab Hotel is really down to earth, a little tired looking but is excellent value for money in comparison to what else is on offer in Khasab. The hotel is in the centre of Khasab and close to most sights, souk and supermarket. Yes the decor is stuck in the 80's (which I quite like!) but it is clean and the staff are so helpful. Just be sure to ask for a non smoking room as the smoking room we somehow ended up with was pretty revolting. We asked to change rooms and were given an even better room for no extra charge. The restaurant is more than acceptable. We had Indian food both nights and it was delicious. We ate breakfast on the terrace by the swimming pool. The hotel offers dhow and mountain excursions. The things that could be improved are Internet access in all rooms not just the main reception area and card payment. At the moment cash only payment is available which seems a little backward in the year 2013."
