Free drop off to malioboro n airport transport shuttle. Staff kind to change our room with a double bed n a sofa bed bcos they do not have extra bed policy. We like the rooftop swimming pool where we can watch the taking off n the landing of the planes. Staff packed the breakfast at 3.30am for us as we went for sunrise tour. Nearby shopping centres we have been to are Malioboro mall n Plaza Ambarrukmo, can reach by the bus Transjogja with a single trip RP3500, ask the bus stop staff n they will tell u what line to take provided u must pre-write down the name of the place 1st to show them as the people mostly dont understand English. Learn some basic bahasa indonesia n it woll definitely helps alot during the trip.

It was nice staying 4 nights at Sahid Hotel Yogyakarta. The location is good as it is integrated with Yogya City Walk Mall Babarsari and close to Atma Jaya University, UPN and also to Prambanan Temple or road to Solo and Magelang. The building is new but he room is small. The menu is great and delicious. I think it was worth it staying at the 4 Stars Hotel but price ...It was nice staying 4 nights at Sahid Hotel Yogyakarta. Platinum Hotel is a great choice for family (or not). They are very warm and friendly towards children and have a children's swimming pool. I had the best sleep here that I had in three weeks travelling around Indonesia. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were just the best. The room was very impressive. Value for money outta this world.

We were warmly greeted by two front desk staff. We had a great time from this moment onward. They did not charge us for checking in early and a room was quickly and readily prepared for us. When I told them that I wish to connect to their wi-fi, they asked us if we will be using it often. The hotel is not new but the facilities were well maintained. Smile and greetings is very cheap in this hotel. Anytime you come across any staff, you are given a very warm hello and a big smile always come with it. Their novelty shop selling fine clothing made of local batik is almost as cheap as the ones you can buy outside. The food and price of meals are great as well.

This is one of best value chain hotel in Yogyakarta, I got free upgrade to junior suite and my room have view to Merapi mountain which I enjoyed the clear view when the whether is good. Since I made my booking with Agoda, I've never called Jayakarta Yogyakarta for further confirmation. I just wrote that I need airport transfer,clean and non smoking room, close to swimming pool, etc. And voila! Right after arrival to the airport, one of the staff has put on sign bearing my name for airport pick up! During my stay here, I've never seen any staff who is not friendly,courteous, and helpful. Some of the staffs even always greet me by name. Its a wonderful welcoming experience by the staffs.Thanks! We got the room exactly according to my request. We're situated on room #321, which is right next to the stairs to the swimming pool and the restaurant, and just the same level with the lobby (the nearest). The room, although outdated in facilities, but very clean, with comfortable bed, with nice bathtub and shower. Hot water was never lacking. No leaking pipes or drains, no smell. Bathroom amenities although limited, but we can always ask for more bathtub gel, toothbrush, hair dryer for free. Hotel sandal weren't free though, so be sure not to take it home (they'll charge you if you do). The swimming pools were great and a real heaven for kids. The have variety of pools, and all cleaned up every morning. Breakfast has limited variations, but some of the meals especially the Javanese cuisines were nice. Overall our stay has been satisfying. The staffs really put much effort to make sure our stay is comfortable. They had the attitude of making one feels welcomed. Thank you for our wonderful experience!

As this is our first time to yogakata, not familiar with the place, and had an early flight to catch, we decided to booked this hotel which is walking distance to the airport and not too expensive. It came as a happy surprise to us cos this hotel is really nice, both its exterior and interior, as it is newly refurbish from a historical building. It really feels like we are in an art museum with the many painting hanging on the wall at the lobby area. The only setback is that the website indicated that there is a swimming pool but it is still under renovation when we were there and we actually brought our swimming gear there.

The hotel is relatively inconvenient to reach cultural attraction in Yogyakarta (due to traffic jam; not because of its distance). The hotel is close to Ambarukmo Plasa (a mall) and other souvenir shops mainly selling local delicacies (for urgent souvenir shop). The hotel is close to Ambarukmo Plasa (a mall) and other souvenir shops mainly selling local delicacies (for urgent souvenir shop). It is also close to Affandi Museum, one of the leading impressionism painters in Indonesia - the only cultural attraction nearby I am aware of. The room is spacious with separate living room. It is clean, or even too clean as the room smells like a cleaning agent. Overall I am satisfied with the hotel as it meets my expectation, basic hotel for a last stay before going to airport. Still, I have a nice surprise with a big breakfast I had in early morning before I departed to airport (free of charge).

The architecture was beautiful and I loved the huge pool area. It was very comforting. The location was great for me because I needed to be close to Universitas Gadjah Mada, but for travelers wanting to see tourist attracti...I was amazed my how big my room was. Its not too far from Yogya's best nightclub, Hugo's.

The hotel was completed in 2016, so they say. The surrounding area/areas, the upper floors, the walls, the adjoining Malioboro Apartments are still in construction stages. The hotel's swimming pool is ok but who wants to swim there as the apartments (located very close to both sides of the pool) is under construction. Good location as it is near to the international airport but not for walking distance to shopping areas. The double bedroom are satisfactory and breakfast included. The facilities are ok, expected to seriously improve when occupancy rate goes up. Restaurant is ok too and food is delicious. Two thumps up to the very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Airport transfer is complimentary. Overall, this hotel would be great when the surrounding projects are complete.
