Hotels near Fort Aguada Beach

We planned to have a relaxed trip and Goa was suitable place. We choose to stay at north Goa at this property as it is close to Condolim beach and clam place. We booked superior type the rooms were spacious, well maintained & has balcony to relax. The pool was close but occupied by foreigners for the sun bath. Coming to food, the compliment break fast has good spread & delicious. They have activity room but not that big(in terms of no. of activities) and this need to be improved b'cose the rooms stinks and u can only play carom board & table tennis. Coming to transportation, we hired two wheeler which next door to the hotel and was roaming around as the beaches & other sightseeing are in 5-7 KM u can cover Candolim, Calangute, Baga beaches and fort Aguada as well the dolphin boat sightseeing. The receiption person help in arranging the cab for the drop to the airport. The only thing is transportation to be taken care. Overall, We had good time & the hotel is fabulous & I do recommend.

It was a wonderful stay and staff was really helpful. we got a early check in as well because we booked for 10 days. Hotel is really great, I would say better or similar to Novotels in Dubai. All was well cleaned and maintained. Not a complaint but a small suggestion would be to make the WC cleaning better and replenish the worn towels, that taken care would surely take the Hotel to 5 star level. I know I am not staying in Taj but that sorted you are a very good hotel. This feedback maybe because I am a Hotel Management and Laundry person, for normal guests it is nothing that they would observe. Great value for money and great facilities with awesome location and very courteous staff and management. For all who shall stay do not forget to carry swimming glass for they have an awesome infinity pool at rooftop. Pool was very clean but difficult to open eyes n swim for a regular swimmer as well hence the glasses. Book this property if you want great value for money.

Excellent location to enjoy the beach/village walks in the early morning, do business in Mapusa during the day and enjoy the beach again in the evening. Housekeeping and food is very good. Disappointed that I was not given a room with a view of the countryside, which is what my wife requested for me. Also the taxi service from the people outside the hotel is very poor. The doormen should not recommend them to customers. They should have phone numbers of reliable local taxi drivers. My wife and I come to Candolim most years and usually stay at the neighbouring County Inn and Suites. I came on my own this year and stayed att he Fortune Select because my wife's mother, brother and sister from Travelpack were staying at he Fortune Select. We shall consider both hotels when booking our next trip.

In short nice location little inside but not far from market and beach. Stayed in Delux rooms. Better to book pool facing rooms. Rooms and wash rooms are clean. Good spread in breakfast. Items, if not on buffet are also provide if you give a prior notice to the staff. Small pool for kids. The pool is little smaller for adults. The best part of the hotel is that they have an excellent staff always helpful. Want to specially mention Shenya from front office and Debojeet, F&B manager. The best person was Hari, Housekeep manager who always available on call for any assistance. Overall I would say that the stay was a memorable one. Would certainly like to refer to my friends and family members. Will stay at the same property on my next visit.

My stay @ the ACACIA GOA RESORT met my expectations and more. Even though there was a taxi strike, the airport staff arranged for someone to pick me up @ the airport (I had to call the hotel since they didn't have my contact details BUT that wasn't a problem). My room was cleaned daily, ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The pool, for my morning swim was good and clean. I walked to the beach which was not more than 5 mins away everyday.....ACACIA did not have any reviews when I booked BUT I took a chance - no regrets...Thumbs up to ACACIA's management and staff.

This is a very nice hotel in many ways. The staff are very helpful; there is a nice pool; restaurant has nice food and great buffet! There is entertainment each night-usually a live band/singer...although this is OK the noise is overpowering until 10pm and our original room-billed as 'pool side' was, but it forgot to mention the speakers were against the door so any thought of a quiet, relaxing evening was outthe question! The beach was a walking distance and there are a variety of shops/restaurants. Essentially this hotel is prime 'Package Tour' with all the expectations which come with it. I'm not being judgemental as there needs to be accomodation for all but this is probably not the best selection for independent travellers (looking for a little luxury for a few nights_ who don't want the trappings of a package holiday.

More I say less it will be to describe our experience (group of four friends). It is comparatively small hotel with 21 rooms only but not less than any big five star hotel. Rooms are studded with all amenities and requirements from good size beds, new looks of rooms, sitting area with couch and LCD, new style bathrooms and good quality toiletries. Look of Hotel takes your heart the moment you enter the hotel and see green colour swimming pool or hamaam beautified with plants and pottery and sitting arrangement, move further and you see their bar cum lounge perfectly built for travellers, then comes the breath taking swimming pool and deck where they serve delicious food with love and courtesy. Never experienced the level of services they provide with politeness and genuine zeal to serve you better and take care of you like guest of their home. It is walkable distance from LPK Waterfront... the most happenening night club of Goa and walkable distance to Nerul river. Soothing music playing always and house keeping service was amazing amid high booking in hotel. I may go out of words or thoughts but can't explain the fantastic and memorable experience we had at this place. Will surely visit this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Very comfortable hotel, a bit hard to find as it is tucked away in a corner, so in that sense it is actually a hidden hotel. You cannot even find it on google maps, luckily agoda has spotted it right on the map. The young lady (front staff) greeted us very politely in the morning and was very helpful. Rooms have a comfortable bed and all things you need. the bathrooms are very modern and wertern and very well thought out, although I think there is no bath tub in deluxe rooms. Most crowd here is of foreign tourists who will lie by the pool on most days. It is a bit far from the candolim beach so you will have to take a scooterette to the beach. the problem are definitely is the breakfasts. By far the most mismanaged aspect of the hotel is the breakfast. The items get finished, you have to wait to eat and the spead is tiny, actually it is nothing but parathas (thick indian breads), toast, juice, coffee. But that tiny detail apart it makes a good stay if you are okay being a bit away from the beach.

Its a small cozy Boutique Hotel. Swimming pool is small but clean. But staff is very helpful. Pool bar was not open, but we could give orders for drinks in restaurant and they would serve them in pool. Drinks were quite affordable. We enjoyed our time in pool. Rooms were clean, but staff would forget to put the floor mat everyday after cleaning the room, which was quite annoying as the water from shower would make the place outside the bathroom very messy. They would not keep the face towels too. Rain shower was very good. Hotel is quite far from beach. families with small kids cannot go to beach by walk. There are many restaurants nearby. Even the hotel restaurant is good. There is a super market nearby the hotel on left hand side.

Staff always helpful , got everything sorted out, we had 2 rooms , I was there 4 days before staff noticed my birthday surprised me with a lovely cake. Can't say enough about the staff, they all deserve a raise. Last year I had better value itself, we had towels for beach, this year not. Had trouble finding both bookings, staff took it on and made it not my problem, but I saw they worked on in. Also I could not use my Accor number, devaluating my stock in their brand. That does not take away from the amazing staff everywhere in hotel, from cleaning rooms, drive to beach, food service, pool service. Hate to end on a sour note but the breakfast was amazing but served Nescafé! Lousy burnt coffee. I finally figured out a double espresso with water was better. The construction was off putting as well but I suppose it's all for improvement. Anyway again I'll end with the amazing helpful staff! Best part of hotel!

The ride to the hotel was comfortable. Upon arriving the hotel, I were greeted with warm welcoming staff. The front desk staff Kedar and Reema were very attentive and compassionate. All the other hotel staff were very friendly and proactive. The room that I were staying in was very cosy. No complains about the free WiFi and the speed. The bed was comfortable and got a deep sleep. The breakfast was just delicious especially the vegetarian section. Loved the tea but i didn't try the coffee. The pool is clean. The steamroom was just wonderful to help me relax and get rid of my stiff shoulders. There are many recommended restaurants arount Candolim area. Rented a motorbike for RP300 for a day. Easy to get to all the beaches like Candolim, Anjuna, and Vagator. Mostly locals at these beaches.

One of the best hotels i have been in Goa,to start with the staff super courteous & helpful..The best part was the receptionist upgraded our room & as i had requested gave us the pool facing room..SPecial Thanks to her..Food was excellent we had Goan Prawn Curry & Club sandwiches,super yumm..the best deal i could get from Agoda..my friends who came along also loved the place & would like to thank for this..

It is decent hotel with good service. There restaurant serves nice indian food which you don't get anywhere in North Goa beach. There location is great neat candolim , calangote and agoda. We enjoyed our staying. Note it is not a very big resort and the premium rooms don't have great view. Otherwise rest everything is good. I have't use the swimming pool as most of time I go out.

Our stay was good the hotel is very well kept specially rooms are huge like 5 star suite swimming pool was very well kept and its was clean Just the hotel staff they need to change as they asking to many question about guest whenever they get chance specially if they see a women alone even for 10 minutes the male staff start chit chating like it happened to my gf whenever i left her alone the male staff specially from bar resturant which was very annoying
