I booked with agoda & got complimentary breakfast, lunch & dinner throughout the stay. The foods were awesome & have lots of choices. I really like the complimentary coffee where I got 2 cups coffee of my choices everyday. Stay with 1yo & 5yo kids was really great experience here. They were running here & there all the time. The staff were friendly. Very close to shopping mall where we did a last minute shopping. Few steps to cinema! Great valet parking service! DEFINITELY WILL STAY HERE AGAIN NEXT TIME. Highly recommend!

For a three star hotel the price was a bit pricey since they don't have swimming pool and facilities like 4-5 star hotels. The quality of hospitality from the staffs was not as good as I remembered since last time I stay around 4-5 months ago. No complain for room amenities, it was clean and well prep. The hotel location is good though, I can go to the mall which connected to this hotel without having to go to cross the street.

A nice hotel, close to the airport which is a plus if you need to catch an early flight. If you have problems with outside noises, I'd suggest asking for a room at the back side though, since my street side room was pretty noisy. There are mini markets nearby and various eating places across the road. Though some might find crossing the road takes too much effort since the Pettarani road sees a lot of traffic.

This hotel located at the center of makasar, with access to shopping mall, restaurant and shop. Takes approximately 15 minutes to losari beach, away from busy and touristy area. Overall hotel looks clean and new. Room and toilet are clean, amenities are provided, good air con to cool down from city heat. Breakfasts are nothing special. Helpful and friendly staff. Good budget hotel.

Value of money hotel.Good choice for family, and the attitude of the other guest are good (not noisy and crowd) Nice interior of lobby and breakfast area. The room are big enough, and i love the very big window to see the city view. Location in the middle of housing area and shopping district (but not walking distance). There's convinient store in front of it and tukang bakso (street food) and it taste good. The location is good and not noisy. The staff service are polite but not satisfiying. The breakfast are avarage. The beverage (non breakfast beverage) isn't complete but value of money. My challange only in cleaness quality. The towel and the toilet matts looks unclean and old and the color is not white anymore. I stay in duluxe room and see line of ants everytime i put foods in the table. Some of the wall has fungus and it doesn't looks good. But anyway, the bed are nicer than five star hotel, we slept very well. For budget hotel this hotel is worth to stay.

menginap selama 2 malam untuk urusan pekerjaan membuat saya harus mencari hotel dgn bujet yg rendah tapi tetap memiliki standar kenyamanan yg baik. lokasi hotel juga sangat strategis karena dekat dengan mall besar dan tempat makan sehingga mempermudah berbagai urusan. sayang kamar yang saya dapatkan kurang dingin AC nya juga beberapa peralatan listrik seperti lampu meja samping serta stop kontak yang tidak berfungsi. SDB juga saya dapatkan dalam keadaan terkunci dan error'. saran klo ingin tidur lelap, jangan minta kamar dgn jendela Karena suara bising dari jalan. makan pagi biasa' saja. utk businessman traveler, it's okay

Upon reaching the hotel...it looked like a 2 star hotel...however was surprised by the interior. simple and elegant.the toilet was huge..and even the shower was big for a couple to shower( saves time and water :-)...also the tv had numerous channels and i enjoyed watching live football while my wife was asleep..wifi was available and free too! breakfast not much of a variety but for the price i paid..it was worth it..shopping malls and amenities are just a stone throw away..in summary..this hotel will be the one im coming back again end of this year...affordable and nice for the average income bloke like me...arios!

Strategic, within walking distance to the shopping mall and traditional cuisine spots. I booked the night before when I was in Medan. The flight transit in Jakarta then landed at early morning in Makassar, so I checked in at 4.00 AM. I consider it as late check in (yesterday's date), but at first the receptionist got me wrong and said it was early check in (for that day's date) and he insisted I had to pay extra cost 150k. I was so tired yet I tried to explain to him. I was glad that he finally understood. But still, he warned me to check out at 12.00 noon. Thank God, the room quite comfort for my exhausted body. I slept until 10.00 and skipped the breakfast. For the next stay, I re-checked in and got different room with broken AC. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes for them to fix it. The amenities are just standard, ok for business traveller who spend more time outside the room. The morning receptionist and concierge were more polite and helpful.

The rate is very cheap and the facilities are not bad. Clean towel, clean sheet, perfectly working AC, comfy bed, the only downside was the water heater took a lot of time to function. You need to waste a lot of cold water before the warm water is out. As a means of transportation, there's a few bentor (becak-motor) that can take you to the nearest mall for only Rp.10.000,-. In Panakkukang mall you can take the Trans Makassar bus for a city tour for only Rp. 4500,- The breakfast menu is decent, not that good though. But a lot of good restaurant is in a walking distance. Mi Titi was a personal favourite of mine...

Million thanks for the courtesy of the VERY early check-in. Room is great. Clean hotel throughout except drainage system MUST be improved at least on room 2xx (stench drain smell). It was either the drainage system issues in the neighborhood or choked drain in the shower(kindly check~ dear Mr owner). Food was great and variety with accord to star rating. Personal hygiene details may have been lacking to at least one of the F&B staff. The paper cover of my mineral water was dirty but the rest in the dining area was seem to be fine from my observation. WIFI was weak in the room but excellent in the dining and lobby area.. Room ventilation is good due to the large room with a high ceiling lighted with a chandelier. The room has a bathtub for a 3 star hotel (excellent). This hotel is strategically located in the vicinity of the Panakukang Shopping Mall. Plenty parking space for hotel guests at the large Supermarket parking lot next to this hotel. Food choices are aplenty at the restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel. As mentioned earlier, this place is suited to those who plan to shop. Pantai Losari, Fort Rotterdam and Paotere Harbour are not possible to reach by foot. However, to those who wish to go on a day trip to the National Park (Bantimurung National Park), this please is a good choice as a base to call a night. You will feel like staying in a palace as it's interior design is based on it. It was best to visit places by means of motorcycle and having local friends to show you around. From my personal point of view, most of them only speak Indonesian probably due to few interaction with Westerners in this part of the Indonesian island.

Pondok Yasin or also known as Pondok Jacinth is located right at the makassar city centre. It is a new set up budget hotel, therefore, very clean and having brand new facilities. The room is quite spacious. Since it is located at city centre, you can find almost anything around the makassar city centre. For those looking for relaxation and entertaining, there's massage place all over city centre. Within 15 minutes drive there is many malls where you can get supplies or stroll or shop. Banks, maney changer and restaurant are also within 5 minutes drive. It is located about 30 minutes away from the Kalla Indoor Theme Park.

the first hotel i booked through agoda is jl star, but the send the message that jl star not confirm and inform me that i could move to adhyaksa hotel for superior plus with the same price. adhyaksa hotel is just standard hotel for sleeping. the room is spacious compare to amaris hotel but not too clean. it's ok for business travelers. the location is just a walking distance to mall panakukang do it's easy to find food there.

it's my first time to stay here at asia hotel and i think my decision was right. i arrived late at night but the receptionist and the service during check-in was fast and quick, not even 10 minutes, i could rest in my big and spacious standard room the bed is comfy with fluffy pillow and bed-cover, the ac is really in good condition. the bathroom has everything i need and pretty clean (the most important one: doesn't smell). :) the breakfast is good enough for this class of hotel and i really enjoyed the food. although, it's only 1 night but i really enjoyed every second and everything they provided. will definitely come back and stay there again for my next trip to makassar and will definitely recommend this hotel to my relatives and colleagues.

1. the price we paid for standard rooms which booked few months ahead are higher than the published price for deluxe rooms. 2. we were given deluxe room for the first night. we checked out to go to toraja and vacant the paid rooms for a night. upon returned from toraja, we were given the standard rooms. to our surprise,the room is so small that it hardly has any space to move around. we made a bitter complaint and we were given back the deluxe rooms. 3. i have traveled to over 60 countries, this is the first time i stay in a hotel room with no wash basin in the toilet. the water from the tap to wash backside was smelling. 4. wifi is weak from first floor and have to to to the ground floor for better connection. but the ground floor is full of mosquitoes.
