"First time i booked a hostel in Yogyakarta and i I chose Wake up homestay. I was amazed by their service..and how the hostel is. The location not so far from Tugu station, malioboro, trans jogja and beringhajo market. The bed pillow n blanket so comfortable. They had nice bed bunk with 100% excellent privacy, clean bathrooms. The space between other beds were wide where u can't find in other hostel, they also provided a locker to keep my belongings safe. The free trip they made for the guests to the waterfall totally unforgettable, i hope wake up homestay can be well-known for those who wants to stay in Yogyakarta. 🙏🏾🍁"

"I just checked out from the hotel a few hours ago after 6 nights staying here. This is an amazing hotel to stay at if you are ever considering a visit to the amazing Yogyakarta. This hotel has about everything you need especially the location. It is just next to the famous Malioboro Street. Food stalls are everywhere. Transportation is everywhere as well. Very convenient. Room service is done everyday. Breakfast is decent enough. For the price, I really have nothing to complain about this hotel. Super awesome service. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Jogja. As a very satisfied guest, 5 stars from me.."

"I had a very enjoyable stay in Jambuluwuk Malioboro. The food in the hotel is good, enjoyed a lot of "sambal". It's still within walking distance to Beringharjo traditional market and Malioboro shopping street although it is a located about 1km away from the busy Malioboro. The staff are helpful to get taxi and ready to bargain for "becak" for me. I enjoyed a 30% discount at the spa with Citibank credit card although I carry a foreign Citibank card. Some tips to share: there are not much choices for restaurant nearby (unless one is adventurous to try the stalls at the road side). However, there is a bakery and 2 Indomart 24-h convenient stores nearby the hotel. Also, there is a Tran Jogja bus stop (abt 300m away) on the left side of the hotel entrance. I took a taxi at Rp 20000 (minimum tarif) from the hotel to Kraton and a "becak" for the same price back from Kraton. Overall, it was a great, value for money stay at this hotel."

"It's definitely value for money. A distance walk to famous road, Malioboro and the place itself is like a hidden gem. It might be difficult to find at first, but the property manager said that they will put a better sign. Has a pleasure to chat with one of the owner (wasn't aware until the property manager mentioned that to me). Overall, it was one of the best hostel experience so far. The breakfast is quite unique as well"
