The location on the beach and the pools are the best part about this hotel. I would definitely recommend it, it’s down the quiet end of the beach. On arrival the greeting is nothing special, they do expect a credit card or large amount of cash as deposit incase you buy anything at the restaurants etc. It was 500,000 but we stayed for 7 nights. The rooms are very old and the bathroom borderline gross.... it’s not dirty but very old and falling apart with black stains all over the bath and in the sink. The aircon system is really old and rubbish, we had to move rooms after the first night as didn’t work and took about seeing 5 different rooms till we found one that worked better then the others. The reception was really great about this and very helpful and patient while we looked. From seeing different rooms all the bathrooms are in similar condition, some worse then others. We ended up in room 810 which the aircon was better then some of the others. The beds where huge and comfy and has a tv, fridge and balcony with lovely view. Cleaning is ok... not amazing and could be a little better, they definitely need a new vacuum as doesn’t clean the carpet well. When we moved to new room sheet on bed hadn’t been changed, we didn’t realise till we got into bed and could smell men’s aftershave and women’s perfume on the covers. Housekeeping where quick at coming up to change. Most of the staff are friendly and the pool guys are very helpful with setting up your mat on the deck chairs. Be careful when eating in the restaurant, the prices look good but then they add on 21% for a service charge and 10% for government tax. Which is insane, if you walk down along the beach you will come to other restaurant that only charge 12% government tax. When you walk out onto the beach the main area is to turn right and keep walking, but even closer is some restaurants when you turn left, hidden round the corner of the path. Cheap and good food. There is also lots of really cheap local food

we like almost everything about this place. location is very convenient, at the heart of sanur that has plenty of shopping & dining options around. the staff were extremely courteous. the room type that we had booked does not allow for extra bed which we needed for our mum, therefore they upgraded our room for free!! (we still have to pay for the extra bed, but the fact they bumped us up for free is really heartwarming). the room to which we got upgraded, is really spacious with walk-in wardrobe and spacious bathroom & bath tub. one downside is the wall between our room and next door seems to be made of thin gypsum board so at night we were able to join in the conversation of our neighbors. as our 9-month old son was with us and it was already past 11pm, a few bang on the walls sadly ended the short relationship we had with the newly found kind next door friends. we intentionally skipped breakfast at the hotel because we wanted to have local breakfast and thankfully there's a hidden gem not many would know- a warung nasi bali (balinese mixed rice) located just off sanur about 10 minutes drive from the hotel, which was recommended by our kind driver. the beach side view of the resort is quite relaxing, though we didnt have much time to swim on the beach or soak under the sun. sanur beach is famous for its calm waters, so we had nice morning & evening strolls by the beach. there are two pools in the resort, one by the beach side which looks older but with nicer view facing the beach; and another further inside which is nearer to our room and looks newer & nicer. local & international food are easily accessible outside this resort, and together with the so many small independent retail kiosks, these provide pleasant walk whether you are looking for shopping or not. a bit surprised to know that this resort is rated (or rated themselves) as three star. easily a four star for us- but our standards are probably lower than yours.

We've been travelling as a family with two toddlers (2.5 years and 1.5 years) and my parents, so booked two rooms. We booked last minute, the day we checked in, changing accommodation while on Bali. The welcome at Prama can't be faulted, someone took our luggage for us, wonderful greeting by staff, welcome drink, got upgraded to accommodate for neighboring rooms, everything perfect. We paid less than AUS 100 per room per night. Excellent value for money. During our stay however, I'd say it's a "Bali" 5 star hotel: You don't quite get what you expect, only almost. But this is complaining on a very high level. And we certainly got what we paid for - and more. Little hiccup: We booked and paid for a roll away bed in our room, but due to being upgraded to a club room with king sized bed, they said the roll away is not available there. We only found this out after the first night, no refund was offered, and we didn't ask for one either, since we've been given a free breakfast by the hotel, by mistake. Pro: Convenient services are available through the hotel, such as taxi service, free shuttle to Sanur shopping, doctor on call 24/7, kids play room, great kids pool, spa. If you're looking to relax, get others to do the work for you, get out of the hussle and still have everythng at your fingertips, then the Prama is for you. Some services are way overpriced though (taxi, laundry). But you do get the convenience of a private clean (!) beach and nobody trying to sell anything to you, unless you visit one of the nice little shops on site. We'll be back.

Maison Aurelia turned out to be a very pleasant surprise for us. We did not expect much because we didn't see a lot of reviews prior to booking. It was newly built. The interior was very stylish and elegant. The rooms were spacious and very clean. They pay a lot attention to small details. The laundry bag, slippers, bathroom kit were all of good quality. The staff were polite, efficient and alert. They also provide their guests with passes to Sanur Beach Club and offer a free pick up service from the hotel to the beach with a nice van plus driver. The only thing they need to improve on would be the limited menu for the complimentary breakfast. However, this is such a minor thing compared to over all customer satisfaction. We are definitely going back! Maison Aurelia gives five star service for the price of four. Keep it up!

we had a 2 week vacation booked. 1 week in bali and 1 week in koh samui. our first week in bali was about relaxing. our daughter was 4 & 1/2 and our son 16months. we booked a 2 bedroom appartment, which was huge. master bedroom was ensuite, separate family bathroom, and then open plan dining room and lounge... plus separate kitchen and good sized balcony over looking the pool/gardens. it was perfect for relaxing and the resort well contained. it had some basic facilities for my daughter, an area where children can colour and play games supervised - indoor video games, pool table etc, and one large waterslide in a separate pool, which the children didnt tire of the food was good, and not over priced. all food could be ordered to the room and was prompt. staff were friendly, and we had breakfast at the hotel every day. the hotel is on a bit of a main road, and the walk to the beach around the narrow back streets is about 15-20mins... and pavements a bit dodgy if you have a push chair. but its do able. the cab from the hotel to the beach is 30k inr, which is about £2gbp. if you get a meter taxi back its about 10k inr, about £0.66gbp!! so although the taxi is more from the hotel, its not bank breaking. the hotel cab to the airport, or seminyak is comparable to the meter taxi coming back. about 80k inr. sanur has a nice beach front with a good promenade along the side of the beach in the shade. you dont get as hasstled as you do in cuta or seminyak to buy things on the beach, and we really liked it. a little more family friendy. so if you want a big appartment that is easy and family friendly, with separate room for the kids that pretty well self contained... this is great. we would use it again! if you want a beach front place, you wont get it with this place, but for its size etc, is great. i am not sure you can get anything like this on the beach front for this price...

The hotel was good. Not a 5 star but quaint and charming. A beachside hotel. We did see a rat on the grounds. Other than that, the food was pretty good. Nice choice at breakfast and the traditional Indonesian food we had for our last lunch was some of the best in the area. Everything was clean enough. The wifi was good and the chargers for our phones were the best during our entire 10-day trip, out of 3 hotels. Though this was not my favorite hotel. It was fine. The worst part was being harassed daily by the local souvenir hawkers. They were relentless. Otherwise, the choice of the ocean to the pool was great. Both were clean. The staff were all super nice, as was the case all over Bali.

I booked Akana based on being nearby to a convention. This was my first time staying at this end of the Sanur strip & I throughly enjoyed the location. The Staff at Akana were very helpful, cheerful & professional. Thanks to Eleesa & all the team for making my stay very welcoming. My flight arrival was abnormally delayed - as well as a unusually longer Customs backlog. I would not of been surprised had the pre arranged Hotel transfer cancelled given the length of delay. However my Driver was waiting patiently in the arrivals hall - again thank you so much. I stayed in the ground floor pool access room & found it very comfortable, roomy, clean & functional including breakfast. I will definitely stay at Akana again because this is my favourite end of Sanur. Restaurants aplenty to choose from, a major grocery store chain less than 10 mins stroll away & several smaller vendors between. Beach access is easy & Akana have their own allocated sun lounges/umbrellas. 5 stars - thank you

I was after a place 2 recover from a long international flight for 2 nights before moving on 2 Gili Islands. On the aiport, I caught a metered Bluebird taxi (way cheaper than the transfer offer I got from the hotel for 250k rp). Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly & always getting out of their way to help u at all times. The room was spacious, modern, clean, with a nice big window (lovely view) & I absolutely loved the huge bed & my nice bathroom. I found this hotel was above of the standard that I was expecting. It is a modern & very well managed place. The e-mail communication after my booking was superb! Fast & efficiently all my extra questions regarding my booking through Agoda were answered. I went to the bakery for breakfast&dinner offering fast, friendly service & good food. Really enjoyed the cappuccino. Only thing I disliked were the roosters which u can hear from 5am. But this can happen anywhere as they are common on Bali I guess. The rooms can be a tiny bit noisy (probably due to the wooden doors), u may hear other guests walking past outside ur door & possibly ur neighbours in the room next to u. Street noises were hardly heard in my room. There is an excellent spa (Leha Leha) just one min walking distance from the hotel which offers the BEST Balinese Massage I ever tried!! I also used the shuttle bus to get to the supermarket. I recommend using it as the walk was not so enjoyable when I tried it instead. Try speak 2 reception about boat transfers to the Gilis (I paid 675k rp for Giligetaway on Gilibookings.com. Reception told me afterwards they could get it for 500k rp) Plz make sure u doublecheck via email with the boat company directly! Staff told me wrong time for pick-up to transfer to the harbour. I asked at reception to ring Giligetways to find out what time I would be picked up because I was on the later boat. After the phone call, they still told me the wrong pick-up time. I was left waiting for 2 hrs in the morning.

All in all this was one of our best hotel experiences...period. The staff of Kejora Suites are great. Very helpful and warm, they really made us feel welcome. The adjacent restaurant, The Glass House, is a great place to dine. In addition, this hotel is close to the beach and close to many shops, stores, boutiques, restaurants and cafes in the Sanur area of Bali. Moreover it is a reasonably priced taxi ride from many other areas of Bali (i.e. Kuta) worth visiting. Close to the city atmosphere yet very quite. You could sit poolside and look up at the stars, take a walk on the beach or enjoy the local nightlife. We could go on an on about the amenities, benefits and perks that come with staying at the Kejora Suites. Simply put...if you are staying in Bali, especially Sanur, stay at Kejora Suites as you will not be disappointed.

Set in a little from the madness of the harbor and not so close to the mosque made for a very restful night's sleep. I also really love open air showers in general. My only confusion (and it's so minor!) was that there was no where in the bathroom or room to hang up a towel. There is certainly cheaper on Gili T, especially if not high season, but this was well worth the convenience of booking online etc.

Happy :) the hotel is great.. I think this is the best or one of the best hotel in Sanur.. The hotel itself is beautiful and the accomodation is very cheap? However Sanur is not a perfect place if you wat to go to the beautiful beach.. The beach in Sanur is for masses and bery public ( u can not even wear a swim suit, or worst you cannot even atay long at the beach beacause sand is not fine, and as ive aaid very public..

we loved our stay here so much so that we wanted to extend our stay and cancel our other booking at a hotel in kuta. astana pengembak is located in sanur just off jalan ngurah rai by pass and jalan danau poso which is a continuation of jalan danau tamblingan(the main strip for hotels and eating joints in sanur). after being to bali many times and staying and visiting various locations throughout the island, we have come to conclude sanur is the best place to stay while holidaying in bali. the hotel bedrooms itself are built and furnished to a 5 star standard. we had our best nights of sleep here as it was quiet and the bedroom was very comfortable. our one bedroom suite even came with a furnished kitchen and cooking facilities. being on the ground floor, we had direct access from our bedroom to the swimming pool. the pool itself is more of a lap pool but it's big enough to accommodate many. the breakfast was a set breakfast choice between continental, american and indonesian menu. while some may find the breakfast a bit on the small side, it allowed us to enjoy other culinary on offer in bali without feeling stuffed from a normal buffet breakfast. on the negative side, one may find the hotel's location a bit secluded and far from the main action strip of jalan danau tamblingan or the beach. we didn't have a problem as we hired a car throughout our stay. however, given bali's relatively cheap taxi fare, this matter could be fixed easily. we will definitely return to astana pengembak for our next visit in 3 months’ time.

Grand Inna Bali is true to it's name. This Matron is spread over around forty hectares ( inclusive of golf course), along Sanur Beach There is the high rise: the Grand ( offering sea view rooms), then The Garden and the Resort with leisurely spread bungalows. There are few swimming pools, bars and restaurants to choose from. The Service is nice, swift and attentive. Sanur Beach with dozens more restaurants, is at your doorstep. Local shops, markets, cheep eateries, massage and beauty shops are 5 minutes walk away. We stayed at the Resort; in a comfy bungalow surrounded by pretty gardens. I spoke to many guests who have been staying here every year ( some have been coming here for 15+ years ). Breakfast is excellent, location is great, Service is top, value is unsurpassed. We stayed for a week and came back a week later ( after some islands exploring ) and we will stay here in future; this is a nice home away from home. Great area with fabolous plenty flower and tree, location were amazing, close to airport, denpasar down town, sindhu market, jazz and grill bar, also surrounding with great restaurant and bar along the beach with cheap price, hotel is front of the beach giva a plus, you can whach sunrise when enjoy breakfast, breakfast good to with many kind of american and continental menu, staff give their best to serving guest,very kind and profesional with smile, excellent service, we feel like we are a king and queen here, quite atmosphere and ambience give us comfort and want to stay here more and more, clean room with good facilities make it a place like a paradise, hotel has big swimming pool adult and children, beach also clean too, white sandy sanur beach very calm and safe given us a unforgetable memories, we definitely will return in nearly, hotel very recommended and we give 10 of 10 star for this hotel,thank you Inna Bali Beach Garden

Staff were so friendly and helpful, beautiful garden, Balinese style with thatched roof, massive room, huge balcony - private and great comfy chairs, great price. Swim up pool bar. Internet at Lobby. Very comfy bed. No mosquito problems. Location is fantastic - walk down the driveway and turn right to find array of resturants, keep walking up past the Hyatt to get to Hardy's supermarket, Star Cafe (must go - is western food but very very good). This is the best place i have stayed - have been to Bali 7-8 times, and stayed several months, many different hotels/villas. Can't beat this place for value for money.Ask for an upstairs room to get the view of the garden/pool and the great balcony. Cheap but very nice, i will be staying here again next trip to Bali.

This was our 7th visit to Bali and Ari putri was the best hotel to Date .Value for money ,service and comfort . It was our first visit to Sanur and much quieter than Kuta and Legion .The Hotel is Just across the road from the beach and the board walk with all the lovely bars and restaurants (walk through the hotel opposite ) The room was smaller than described on the booking site but it was clean and tidy ,with a very comfy bed .The room service was great ,best hospital corners I've seen on any bed outside a hospital .The air con system and fridge worked very well .I was loaned a kettle and cups so I could have my morning tea in bed . The breakfast room was on trend and the selection of breakfast was lovely ,There was something new everyday. .The restaurant is attached to the hotel is pretty especially at night when lit up .We enjoyed a lovely evening of entertainment there and selection and price very good . There is also a coffee shop off the pool area that did very good coffee

Bumi Ayu is amazing, I have zero complaints. Super friendly staff, lovely restaurant, awesome pool, nice rooms, just everything was great. Before we went there, we read reviews on it and there were some bad ones, but to be honest, the guests that would have written half the stuff they complained about must just be miserable people. Sure there's the occasional spot of mould in the shower, but it's a hot, damp place. I've worked in 5 star hotels with Mouldier showers than that! It's a close walk to the main road of Sanur which is full of amazing bars and restaurants and shopping. It takes hardly any time at all the walk to the beach, you can also just rent bikes and Vespas for super cheap. The reception was marvelous in booking tours and airport transfers for us. I'm planning on travelling back to Indonesia soon, and Im going out of my way to go to Sanur again just to stay at Bumi Ayu.

Just stay for meeting. Got standard room which is in a ground floor facing their small outdoor pool, has no window but the sliding front door made by blur glass and covered by curtain so it’s make it look like a big window. Spacious room and surprisingly big shower box, you can shower together with other 3 people inside. TV channels are great, you find it every fave channel people’s choice. Breakfast is all vegan. There is no elevators. Very very nice front desk staff. She helped me with doing copy of my documents that I needed to bring in the next day. Also the bellboy who did a great job for changing our sheet after we smell that the pillow smell bad. Hairdryer upon on request. Good quality of aircond and hot shower. Location is in the middle of everything. Still, this is a humble simple standard hotel. You love it if you only stay for sleep.

I was in Puri Sading for two nights and three days. the room was so clean,it was a superior one. the location was great,and I am sure everyone who stay in this hotel is quite agreed about its great location. the hotel staff are so friendly and try their best to serve you. All restaurants and bars are near the hotel,and you can easily find anything of your favourite. There is a restaurant bar in front of the hotel by the name of wicked parrot,and the foods there are so delicious as well as nice live band every night.

Nesa Sanur is in a perfect location, really close to restaurants, shops and short walk to the beach. Pool great for those who want some shade. If you are a sun worshipper there is limited opportunity to sun bake for extended periods beside the pool, only a couple of sun beds are in the sun for part of the day - this suited us though. You can get a bemo (local shared van) up and down the strip for 5000Rp (approx 50cAUD) which we used on the odd occasion in the heat of the day, but other options exist closer to the hotel within minutes walk. Restaurants highly recommended: White Orchid - main strip to the right 100m (although more expensive, but with entertainment/live music) Mona Lisa - main strip to the left 500m El Concodor - main strip 100m to the left, quite cheap and huge range (we ate here 4 times) To go to the best part of the beach - go to left on main strip approx 350m and go down lane way at Cafe Smorgas at the end turn left. Many restaurants and some stalls

Fabulous location a 2 minute walk to the beach with the best choice of restaurants and cafes. Very spacious rooms. The staff were nice but their English wasn't brilliant. We booked for 4 nights and then extended for 4 but when we went to move upstairs as arranged they had not booked us in and were fully booked. I enquired about it on a couple of occasions and just got blank stares.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 separate nights. Good value basic hotel. Good sized rooms with tea and coffee making and free bottled water.Rooftop pool and small seating area. Basic but good breakfast included at the small cafe area next door. At the Sindhu Markets end of Sanur, close to all the restaurants. Little Bird Warung for good cheap indonesion food. Rendavous Restaurant a few minutes away was a stand out. Easy 10 -15 min stroll to Cassablanca Bar. Staff very friendly, a little inexperienced but very helpful and obliging. Overall I would recommend Svarna for a budget hotel stay.

Our stay at the Mentari Sanur was very relaxing! It has a great pool. Rooms are Bali basic but clean. There is no tea or coffee in rooms so you can order through the restaurant - but with the 21 % Govt taxes - it is expensive. There are so many little places along the street and beach which are beautiful and cheap! This time around we bought a $6 electric jug and cups from Hardys and used those. But we would have to recommend Luhtu's - its a great walk along the beach of a morning for breakfast and you can get a massage there or stroll back towards the Hotel and have a great one at AYU spa - these people are the best - long relaxing massages very cheap.... For shopping you always have a million little shops to barter at or if you are over it and just want great stuff at a good fixed price you can't beat Tootsies!!! If you are in town around Hardys you can always get a fantastic meal at Swastika One accom & restaurant. The Mentari has awesome beds, hot showers and very friendly staff - the three most important things we look for in a hotel. The fourth of course would be price! There rates I see off the street are $105 a night including breakfast - if you're paying that you are getting ripped off. we paid just $38 a night through Agoda (no breakfast - far cheaper at the local diners). The beds I said were awesome - they are the size of 2 Aussie doubles joined together...wow. At this stage I should say that Sanur is an older persons place with a quieter night life than say Kuta and a much slower pace than Denpasar itself. Hope where ever you stay you have a great time in Bali.

A beautiful older style hotel in well maintained grounds. Swimming pool is excellent. There are very few accessible power outlets in the room, and none at all in the bathroom. You will need a power extension cord and a power board or double adapter. I am just under 180cm. tall and had to stoop to use the mirror in the bathroom, and sit to see in the mirror in the main room. The shower was one of the best I have found in ten years of Bali trips. Breakfast was a bit limited but adequate. All staff were friendly and helpful, and all spoke very good English.

We stayed for 1 night. Room was basically ok, good for a short stay and value for money. Pool was nice and the decoration around the hotel is pretty Too. The only improvement to make was probably to put slippers and more power socket. Staff have very high standard of service !! They have helped me book my boat ticket to Nusa penida, hire a taxi, attend well to all my request. Service for this hotel is good. For breakfast , I felt that the variety is quite little , need to improve.
