Stayed for three nights and were upgraded to a poolside room which was very nice. The room was spacious and air con worked well. The pool area was lovely though the pool did seem a bit unclean with slippery tiles etc but we just used it to cool off and it was fine. Staff were very nice and friendly. It is a short walk to the main town which is very quiet but has some n...

Senghout Hotel was a wonderful find and the pool was an amazing addition. We stayed in the newly remodeled part of the hotel which was actually in a separate building from the original hotel, so we did have to walk over to use the pool which is on the 3rd floor and gives a nice view of the city, but even better is climbing up to the 5th floor lounge area where you get ...

Can't think of a better place to stay in Battambang for the price. This hotel is very new so everything has a very clean and modern feel to it. Location is tucked back on one of the main roads, making it easy to walk to everything. Powerful western style shower and everything you need for a good nights rest. The staff was always smiling and very friendly. Excellent exp...

Stayed here for 2 nights while in Battambang. We stayed in a superior double room with air con. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed, couldn’t complain for the price we paid! Staff in the hotel are all very friendly, manager even printed our Vietnamese visas for free. We had free tuk tuk pick up from the bus station. Our driver Ry was great, although it’s...

No problems at all , hotel provides free transfer from bus station which isn’t really necessary as it is only two streets away from the Mekong Express . We ended up hiring the tuk tuk driver for two half day trips (first Banan temple + Bat caves and back to hotel for $20; second Bat caves again as we walked up the hill to see the temples and Killing caves $10) - these...

My favorite thing about this hotel is the staff. Breakfast is scheduled to start at 7am. We told them the day before that we had to be at the boat dock before 7 in order to take the boat to Battambang. They told us it would be no problem and we could have a box breakast to take with us. The next morning, the guy at the desk saw us come out of our room and said he would...

Battambang is a sleepy town with plenty to see if you do your research. This hotel was very well priced, opposite local food markets Only downsides were demolition going on next door, music from market pumping til late and leaking air con (had to place a bin underneath to catch the drips), and breakfast cafe options nearby were minimal & pricey These are only ve...

Starting to realise 3* in Cambodia is not the same as vietnam or Laos, but it's clean, comfy and cheap. Hotel is in a great location to get to everything in the city, and 2 minutes from capitals city centre transfer drop off. Best thing was our tuk tuk driver, chin chin, who is often around the Asia and star hotels. For $25 he took us around the countryside going to fi...

If you have stayed at a 2 star hotel, you know what to expect. This place is a warm bed with working a/c and it's safe. The internet depends on how close your room is to the router. A good place to spend a night. The staff speaks enough English to give basic assistance. For the price, it's a good spot.

Let's start with the good things about this place... Centralized and accessible to all parts of Battambang. Walking distance to restaurants, shops.. it's right next to the market... what more can you ask for. Rooms are big. Staff are friendly and efficient. Despite being near the market, it's wonderfully quiet at night. Safe too. There's a security guard who stands wat...

You get off the bus directly opposite the Star Hotel- no need for a tuktuk. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. We asked to be moved from our 'no window' room and they moved us happily to a huge room with big windows. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is electric but is hot and powerful. There is no lift but the staff took our cases up for us....

I stayed at Paris Hotel for one night, and it was a last minute booking. The hotel itself is in a great location, close to the central market and bus stations. The building itself is quite old and could use some updating. The room was acceptable, and the a/c was able to keep up with the heat. When I arrived, the room had no towels and toiletries or toilet paper. The pl...

The staff was really nice. One shorter, upbeat guy in particular who had strong English. Rest of staff was kind, and their English was basic, but they are trying very hard. Room were clean with hot water. Definite good value for the room and once they have a restaurant or more eateries near by, it will be perfect. They offer free drives into town and then you can ...

Awesome staff, clean and spacious rooms, big swimming pool with a shaded hammock area. We booked to go to the bat caves with the hotel, which was very reasonably priced and a great experience. We ate a couple of meals there and would definitely recommend the good value for money food. We loved the peaceful location, it is a 15 minute walk to the centre.

It is a very large hotel, so if you like small boutique hotels this is not for you. My room was very spacious and comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was very ordinary but I had the best Amok chicken in the whole of Cambodia for lunch. Battambang isn't really geared towards tourists so English is not widely spoken and you need a lot of patience!

The staff provided excellent service and recommendations even prior our arrival. We requested for transfer from Siem Reap and also asked for tour recommendation and with booking of a tuk tuk driver. They were super helpful and friendly in accommodating. The hotel is small, but very charming. There is a pool in the middle and an open air dining area, both were quaint a...
