Stayed for 2 nights with 2 people. Originally booked a standard room but was upgraded to a deluxe room at the front desk. The service was great and the staff were very considerate. The amenities were plentiful and the location was quite good. All the staff were very friendly and I would love to stay here again.

Highly recommend Hotel Wing International Kyoto-Shijo Karasuma! The hotel is new, clean, quiet with good amenities. It even provide skincare samples from the famous brand DHC. Everything is excellent. On top of that, Hotel Wing staff Ms. Mabuchi was very helpful and tried her best to help. I left my belongings at previous hotel that cannot speak English, after she understood the whole situation, she helped to communicate with the previous hotel and I was able to get my things back. Thanks!

Modern new finishes, great location, and incredible value for money. The room and bathroom is very small by Western standards, but normal for Japanese hotel rooms. Upgrade to a bigger room if that is a concern. We appreciated the clean chic modern design and of all my hotel room stays, it was the only room that was actually cool and comfortable with a controllable thermostat versus having the heat cranked all the way to 23C/73F on auto winter settings. Honestly, I still am so so amazed at how affordable this hotel was for what it is.

Great place to stay”
Right in the heart of Kyoto, 3 minutes from Nishiki market. Wonderful room but having trouble moving around it as it's rather small, and I'm 5,9 and 155 lbs so not a big guy. Other than that it's comfortable and elegant and definitely a wonderful pick.

Super Clean and Comfortable room easy to transport from Kansai Airport”
Traveling from Kansai Airport is very easy. Take the limousine bus from the airport and get off at Kyoto Shijo Karasuma bus stop. Then walk about 300 meters from the bus stop to the hotel. It is very convenient because you don't have to drag your luggage up and down the train station. The hotel is very clean and the bathroom amenities are complete. You can walk to the Gion area. It may be a bit far, but if the weather is good, it will be a fun walk. Or if you can't walk, it's about a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the Shijo and Karasuma subway stations.

Need something central in Kyoto..”
If you are travelling and just sightseeing, this is a brilliant place to be. You need a clean, safe room and you are in the central part of Kyoto, just two metro stops north of the station. Staff exceptionally friendly and you are in walking distance of many of the sights, as well as the two metro's meet. it was perfect for my three days of sightseeing. Also, the rate was fantastic...maybe due to Covid but if your here to travel safely, this ticks all the boxes.

Suitable for small people....”
The Hotel Wing International is excellent value for money. It's close to Kyoto Station and only a short walk from downtown Kyoto (Kawaramachi area). One small problem, however, our room was VERY small, which made travelling with two faintly big suitcases a challenge. I'd stay there again, but I'd specify a twin room rather than a double.

The hotel location is very good and lots of delicious food nearby. And also the hotel is close to the shijo karasuma station, so the traffic is much easy to take. The room size is also comfortable and the bed also good too. I would like to book this hotel next time when I visit Kyoto!

Quiet, easily accessible hotel with all the standard modcons and stylish decor. Very comfortable surrounds, accessible to the main shopping street Teramachi and dining sets at Gion. Subway Shijo access to Kyoto station. Clean Spacious room, thoughtfully set out with lighting and power points. Check in and out was quick and easy.
