Hotel WBF Hommachi was the perfect choice for my 7-night, 8-day trip to Kyoto and Kobe in the Kansai region. Thank you for providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. - The location is great, making it convenient to take the Hankyu and Keihan trains to Kyoto and Kobe. There are also department stores and luxury shops nearby, making it a great place for shopping. It is connected to Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and Namba, allowing for easy walking access. At night, you can enjoy the fantastic illuminated street on the main road. - The staff members are really friendly. The person who helped at the breakfast buffet, the person at the front desk, and the people who cleaned the rooms every day were all kind and showed great dedication. - The only downside is that the rooms are small, making it cramped for a family stay. There is no space to open travel bags. It would be nice to have a couple of tracks to place travel suitcases as an alternative. - The breakfast buffet menu was the same every day during my 7-night stay, so it was difficult for me on the last 2 days. It would be better to have more variety and changes in the menu. - The cleanliness is excellent, with no moisture in the bathroom. However, it would be great if the carpeted floor could be vacuumed daily. Dust and hair flying around give an unpleasant and unclean feeling. - If these three points are improved, I would love to visit this hotel again for my next travel plans. Everything is good except for the location.”
This hotel seems to be on the cheaper side, but the location is not good. It's quite far from Dotonbori and there are a lot of people, so it can be tiring to walk. Taking a taxi or the subway is also not very convenient. Apart from the small room size, the quality of the accommodation, friendliness of the staff, and facilities are all good. However, there is no water in the room. Please consider your route carefully. This is not a suitable place for those who don't like walking or for elderly people.
Excellent Hotel for Osaka ”
We stayed here for 5 nights to explore Osaka, firstly it’s very easy to find through the public transport with a station only 5-7 minute walk away. It’s located in what we assumed to be a business district but a short 15minute walk brings you to the famous Shinsaibashi shopping district which have endless vintage and secondhand designer shops. We also were able to navigate the train system to get anywhere on our itinerary in less than 30 minutes. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly. Would say the rooms are slightly on the smaller side but to be expected in Japan and the check out was early at 10:00am, but we needed to catch a train anyway so it was absolutely fine. As English tourists to the country this stay was perfect for us. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.
