Great Location with this price”
I have been Kyoto couple of times and tried different accommodation across the cities. This is not closed to Kyoto Station but the bus lines....ridiculously plenty where you can visit a lot of spots (Temples / Arashiyama...) In addition, I just realised this visit that it is very closed to Karasuma Station which provides alternative private train to Osaka instead of JR (cheaper as well). I will stay there next time

I've stayed there for a week and extended for a few more days. Location is nice, very central, easy to walk from metro with luggage. First floor interior is amazing, with stone garden, etc. You can walk in from the main street or from a small alley, which is another famous alley in Kyoto. The room is small but has everything. It was okay for me to work there in the evenings. Unfortunately some equipments are already worn out, so some small rennovation is needed: my first room didn't have small mirror in the bathroom and air humudifier wasn't working, my second room safe box didn't have one small panel and when I've asked at front desk about it, the guy said that "yes, that's fine some our rooms safe boxes don't have this". Cleaning is good in general, but some panels in the room are dusty - never being wiped. The staff is really nice, especially the Japanese lady with long hairs, very polite and customer-oriented. Overall it was a nice stay

烏丸駅からは至近距離だが、中心部の四条河原町までは延々と商店街を歩かなければならないので、その点が期待と違った。 が、ファミマ、セブンイレブン、スーパーがすぐ近くにあるので便利でした。 部屋は変わった間取りで、ツインルームだがベッドが狭い。寝るだけなら必要充分。 清掃もほぼ行き届いていると思いました。 テレビが大きいのも良い。 エントランスも洒落ていて、受付の女性の対応も親切で好印象。 喫煙可で低価格が条件だとこちらのホテル一択ですね。 また京都に旅行する機会がありましたら利用させて頂きます。

掃除が雑すぎ”
何度か前を通ったことがあり、きれいめなホテルなので、部屋が古くて汚いという口コミはたまたまなのかなと思って予約しましたが、本当でした。笑 部屋中に取れない汚れ？傷？そこら中に跡がありました。 壁には傷が、浴室のガラス扉には白いものが何箇所も。 加湿器には大きな黒い汚れ。普通に使っていたら見ることはないでしょう。 浴室のアクセントパネルにも上から下までいくつも。 デスクは表面が溶けたのか立体的なものが2箇所。 浴槽周りの壁は前の宿泊者の水滴跡だらけ。 いやー驚きでした。 隣からはいびきが聞こえました。 ホテルに帰ってきてもフロントスタッフはこちらを見ることもなく。 寝るだけと割り切っても、掃除が適当すぎるので2回目はないですね。
