This hotel is a bit dated as what the other reviewers said, but it isn't that bad. Everything was clean and in place, and the attached public bath was truly a lifesaver after a full day of walking out and about. The breakfast had a surprising amount of dishes too. Location is superb, just a few steps away from the seafood market.
This was my fifth time staying at Aomori Center Hotel. A great location , easy walk from the station and to restaurants shops hire cars etc. The staff are extremely obliging .A good translator app would not go astray. But all transactions seem to just work out. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean . The men's onsen is 'brilliant. It is modestly priced and is great value for money.
Like the simple, comfortable and yet pleasant vibe of the hotel. One of my best in my 10 years travel in Japan. What a pleasant surprise We sure will talked about our experience and memory in years to come
- The breakfast is even better than i expected. - The price is very cheap n reasonable (around USD$40 when i booked), I would stay there once again if i ever been to there again. - Just one thing is that i have requested non-smoking room for the booking, but i can still smell someone is smoking nearby in my room. but overall is satisfied.

~6 min walk from Aomori Station. Hotel is located on the quieter side of Aomori Station, with many shops not open for business. Hotel reception is on the 2nd floor. Room is clean. Pillows are soft, hotel provided more pillows on request. Onsen is sizeable – with 5 indoor pools; of which 4 were warm and 1 was cold and 1 outdoor pool. It is a public bath that is also used by non-hotel guests. i enjoyed the onsen . Breakfast was provided.
