Ideally located hotel in Siem Reap”
Somadevi Hotel is located an easy walk from Bar Street and other attractions in Siem Reap. The hotel atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. My son enjoyed using the gym and the pool was great for an after-tour swim. Breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable. The Source Cafe is an easy walk and highly recommended with great coffee and meals. We took 2 tours: The Angkor Wat Sunrise tour with Mr Saruon - who was a very knowledgable guide, very enthusiastic, and provided a very enjoyable day; and Tonle Sap with Mr Kamsan who took us to 3 older temples, then a boat trip around one of the floating villages. Mr Kamsan was also very knowledgable about the history of the temples, how the older ones differed, as well as the culture of the lake villages - another very enjoyable day trip.

Hotel is Classic, Grandeur...Splended large hallways...Carvings...modern very long and wide clean fresh water swimming pool...travelled many countries, clubs... have not seen as this...location on quiet street....5 mins from market....pub street very hot showers on 3rd floor facing garden outside on corner 2 mins is popular Indian Punjabi restaurant ....Curry Walla....opp curry wala is moms laundry lady cleans clothes in washer and irons for $2 per kg...very nice we have been to hanoi, hcm, pp...but nobody can beat this hotel in quality, price, location and service....breakfast is very good

We stayed here 4 nights. Staff are all very friendly and approachable. They always put on a smile. Airport transfers were provided. Drivers are very punct, ual, helpful and coutesy. Everywhere in Hotel is clean and well kept. I look forward to their breakfadt every morning. The egg and noodle station were fabulous. One staff, Lon loung politely offered to help me to bring my bowls of noodles to my table. Whst a kind gesture! The noodles station has many many condiments to suit one taste. There is salad and fruits station. Plain porridge with pickles and salted eggs are also avsilable.

The best choice”
Pros: swimming pool is big, location close to everything, very helping staff(breakfast box for sun rise Ankor Wat visit, late check out). Needs only US$. Tut tut only 2$ max. Nice country, nice people. Ankor Wat sun rise bust a must. Use a private tour guide if you can afford, it’s worth your trip. Cons: cleaning washroom could be better. Breakfast is ok but could be better. I will return for sure!

Would highly recommend, excellent hotel in every way”
From when we arrived on 14/03/2020 the staff could not do enough for us, lovely welcome drink, quick check in then shown to our lovely room, on the ground floor right near the pool and all amenities. Staff helped us arrange our trip to Angkor Wat which is a must do and I highly recommend the sunrise tour, our breakfast was provided by the hotel which was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is currently offering 50% off of their spa treatments so will hopefully take advantage of this. The buffet breakfast is amazing catering for everyone, all sorts of food on offer and very tasty. The hotel is close to shops, pub street and restaurants all within walking distance. Its definately worth a stay here good value for money and excellent service.
