it stated free airport transfer but when my helper asked receptionist, its not free have to pay. When i called and talked on behalf of my helper, it turned to be free. But my helper said that she had to pay another 20,000rupiah upon drop off (the driver said untuk rokok & parking) tho it was just a drop off no car park was required. Please be clear what time to what time is the free airport transfer (cause the receptionist told me 4am onwards free, not sure how true this was).

The wifi in the rooms is really bad and 2nd We stayed 1 night and was promised and advertised free shuttle transfer to airport. When we needed 1 we have to arrange ourselves and pay ourselves. Bad Service, Bad Wifi,. Best things are the cosy beds

Very filthy linen and towel. With black and oil marks. Shower run "black water" for first 15 seconds! No jokes, it is real black water like from clogged drain. Aircond is too small for the room and is located at a corner that can never reach your bed.

I was just having a one night transit in this hotel and did not expect the hotel to be beyond my expectation. The road to the hotel is a little bit crowded but within walking distance you can find local restaurants and even McD just across the road. A couple of convenience stores are just walks away too. The room is pretty clean and I got the ground floor room which is in front of a garden. I didnt use the shuttle but they have shuttle service which is a plus point. Free wifi too. The breaksfast is just so so and I think I might rather have my breakfast outside.. However, very lovely short stay.

Nice hotel - close to the airport. The hotel is about 5k from the airport. Would recommend staying at the airport hotel - IBIS if you are transiting. Check the price between IBIS and Hotel SInar 2 for the best deal. If u stay at the Hotel Sinar 2 add 50,000 (5 USD) for the taxi over to the hotel. Free bus back to airport.

this hotel become my transit hotel before going to the juanda airport because i always look for the earliest flight and my home is 2 hours away from the airport so this hotel is the best one to stay overnight the location is good too in front of mcdonalds and close to the convinience store this hotel also offers shuttle service to the airport which is good for me 😊

Affordable hotel, close to the airport”
The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite clean, the price is reasonable, and it's close to the airport. McDonald is just cross the street, and next few buildings away there is convenience store. There are only two things to note for. The internet is weak inside the room. And outside the room, I got number of mosquito bites.

I Wouldn't Stay Here”
It was horrible. We thought of getting a cheap and nice hotel nearby to rest before we continue on an arduous journey ahead. I saw the review and it wasn't that all bad. But, was I so wrong. This is the true review of the hotel. We arrive late into the night. The hotel sign didn't show it as Hotel Sinar 2 so when to a merry-go-round. We checked-in to a sleazy lobby, hoping it won't be that bad for the rooms. On the way from the lobby to our room, we were stung non-stop by those hungry buzzing mosquitoes. We quickly open our room and throng our luggage and ourselves into the room seeking refuge. But there ain't none. We hope that there's air-cond and that could be our savoir, and again was I wrong. It was tucked at a corner so far at the end of the room, even with full blast, it took one whole hour to start cooling down the hot, stuffy and musky rooms. And don't get me started with the toilets there. I wondered if they had washed it. When we turn on water, the floor turned soapy and bubbly. And stepping on it was so gross that we had to clean the toilet floor with the weak shower, before we shower. Overall, the experience in Hotel Sinar 2 is so terrible that we can't find anything good there is to write. One of the worst hotel we've stayed in.

Staff pleasant and efficient, but very old hotel”
The hotel is close to the airport and convenient. The staff is efficient and pleasant and the wifi is working well. The bed is good. But the hotel is very old and the bathroom is under what we can expect from a one star hotel (no hot water, fixd shower very unconvenient...). The food is ok with local food at breakfast, but no more. The fee is a little bit expensive according the actual level of this hotel.

It's a basic, older hotel very close to the airport terminal 1. They offer free shuttle transfers to/from the airport, try to arrange this upon arrival. For the short distance, taxis are very expensive since they charge minimum fare rates of around 50,000.-RP
